Express indeed! Went in a little before closing and ordered a shawarma, was in and out within 10 minutes. Everyone was nice, friendly, and even filled my plate all the way up to the brim :) read more

Horrible customer service. The meat was basically inedible and the lettuce smelled rancid. I was given sriracha instead of chili sauce, which is a horrible substitute. Also, more expensive (~2 dollars) for the same order on Highland and Jefferson. read more

Excellent food and excellent customer service . I always go thru the drive thru and always greeted with a smile

My first time here ! This picture doesn't even do it justice. Service was prompt and very welcoming. I ordered through the drive thru and it took me maybe 2 minutes, so their system is very efficient. I love that the veggies inside the wrap were fresh and crisp. Nothing like seeing an amazing picture on them menu and the product is way off. I will be back. The chicken shawarma was so flavorful! The sauce is a perfect balance to it. Great job read more

Serops Express - Baton Rouge - #16 Chicken Pita Wrap - Greek Near Me - Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Been meaning to update this review----have gone here many many times for lunch since the pandemic began---lunch service and food is working to perfection here---no waiting (unless busy), polite workers, a lot of food, and careful attention paid as a result of the pandemic----all plus reasons to give 5 stars----my previous review was as described but not at their peak time so I suspect part of the reason for my discontent. Try this place if you like this style food--it is highly recommended. I suspect I ate at this location 40-50 times in 2023 and I look forward to the same in 2024. read more

We love to stop here whenever we have to go to Baton Rouge clinic. The food is hot and delicious, and there are plenty of vegetables to choose. Staff is friendly and helpful. read more

Sherop's Express has mastered the art of serving quite good Mediterranean cuisine quickly and simply. The Perkins Road location is no exception to this rule, they even have a drive-through on the side of the building to accelerate your dining delight. I always like to walk in though, where I am able to see all the many tasty choices when I order at their cafeteria-style serving line. I often get a pita wrap with two sides, which is s very filling meal. However, the sides are really where it is at at Sherop's Express! One can build a plate from their wide selection of sides, these often include stuffed peppers or squash, falafel, spinach pies, and other hearty choices. The smothered green beans are incredible, as is the perfectly steamed cabbage, and broccoli. The fried cauliflower is amazing, and the stuffed grape leaves are one of my favorites. Maybe you want some salads? They have an incredible feta salad, as well as tabouli salad and a marinated cucumber tomato salad that is very light and refreshing. They offer whole-meal salads with gyro or chicken shawarma on top as well, if you want a salad-based meal. All meals come with a wheat pita and a small container of yogurt sauce, and you can buy extras if you are a fan. A pro tip is to consider their small containers of add-on pepper sauces and hummus, these little 50-cent containers can upscale your meal! Don't forget they have the tasty and refreshing Lebanese iced tea, which has hints of lemon and rose water, I can drink about a gallon at a sitting... read more

I was staying at a friend's place on Perkins Rowe and this restaurant was within walking distance from the apartment so I decided to give it a try. Menus are simple, either you pick one of the combos on the menu or you can build your own. I decided to get #3 - combination platter: gyro, chicken shawarma, rice pilaf, feta salad, and hummus. Cost was about $11. One thing I liked about paying with a credit card is the fact they don't have a tip line on the receipt. This is cafeteria style after all. They give you plenty of food for your money. My plate was filled up although I was a bit disappointed that they gave me a lot more chicken than they did shawarma. I would have preferred it 50-50. The chicken was good and pretty tender, the shawarma was a little bit dry but had a good flavor. The rice and the salad were both good. The hummus was also delicious but the pita bread that came with the hummus was soggy and not too appetizing. At the end of the day, I enjoyed my meal. And for the price that I paid, I thought it was a real good value. Need a fresher bread for sure though, and not be too stingy with the shawarma. read more

This is my go to for healthy quick food but I just can't anymore. The chicken is so salty and inedible. I usually have to wash it off in water just to not waste it. Last night was my last time going here as once again it was way too salty and I couldn't eat it. Quit putting so much salt in your food, we don't need that much sodium. read more

The food is excellent, and the service is fast, very comfortable surrounded as you eat your meal, love the tea, very fresh and flavorful

This place is where the most of our take out consists of since the COVID pandemic started. Even before that we used to get food from there regularly. They have a lot of options and the food tastes pretty good. It somehow makes me feel i am eating healthy when ever we order from there. We generally order the combo plates but substitute the rice with so many other options they got. We can play around with their options and it doesn't feel like we are eating the same thing everytime.. read more

My go to spot for lazy week nights! I usually stop by here on my way home from work. I like the green beans (that's in a tomato sauce), mujadara, chicken schwarma, and gyro. I always add on the garlic sauce. It's so good. The one reason for subtracting a star is because sometimes they forget parts of my order. It's also partially my fault for not checking the bag before driving off. read more

This place is a must try if you need something quick, easy, and healthy! The chicken is always seasoned to perfection and the gyro has the perfect umami taste. I always pile everything in the plate with a big scoop of hummus and some Grecian sauce in a pita - best bite of food ever! Definitely have to try their Lebanese tea too. The service is fast and friendly, especially from the owner. I eat here often and will definitely be back plenty. read more

Albash-who? Serop's is the place to go for your Greek/Lebanese cravings. Seriously, the food is incredible and authentic, the staff is always friendly and trustworthy, and you get to support a family-owned business in Baton Rouge. I love taking my friends to Serop's to see their faces light up when they taste the lamb or shawarma. I'd go here 100 times out of 100 over any other Greek/Lebanese restaurant in the states. read more

Serops Express - Baton Rouge - a variety of food items - Greek Near Me - Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Love this place! I love how they have a bar inside with all of their items and you can choose a combo of any sides that you want (including protein options.) They're very nice and efficient, and the food is delicious. You can sit and eat there but their drive-thru is very convenient. And they have self serve lebanese tea! I especially love all of the healthy but flavorful options. Today I got the chicken & gyro salad, with a side of hummus. They have jr, small and large options (some type of variety of 3,) and the small is PLENTY. So much meat for just a small salad. Came with wheat pita and tzatziki too. They keep me coming back for more! read more

I must say that this place is amazing!! It's my new favorite, last minute dinner stop! The drive thru takes less than 5 minutes, and they give huge servings, which I can usually stretch to two meals. This is a great place for fast fresh quality lunch. I popped in here about 1130 one day and I was a little confused by the overhead menu but within minutes was loaded up with my fresh order and out the door. Nice fresh hot Greek food and items. A wonderful nontraditional lunch. I took my order to go as I live pretty close to here, but others were dining inside and it was nice cozy with several tables available. Other diners were there. read more

Good amount of food for the price. I usually get a 4 side plate (chicken, creamed spinach, lentils & wheat, and broccoli). Usually under $9. Place isn't the nicest on the inside but it's a good spot to grab a meal on the go. Staff is friendly. read more

Serops Express - Baton Rouge - Mujadrah, creamed spinach, chicken shawarma, and steamed broccoli. - Greek Near Me - Baton Rouge, Louisiana

I used to get gyros from here whenever the kids have a craving for it. These past few times have been really disappointing. Today. I asked for 3 sides of gyros and got only 2 sides worth. He told me it's 10 oz worth and I got only 7 oz worth. Last time the salad dressing seems to be watered down. I will just stick with Albasha from now on. read more

You want some Lebanese cuisine quick and on the go, this is your stop. Food is pretty good, quality could be better but for the price you really can't complain. One of the only places you can get this type of food through a drive thru as well. The few times I've visited the place was clean and plenty of food readily available. I will continue to stop here for a quick bite. read more

Serops Express - Baton Rouge - Gyro ToGo #2 - Greek Near Me - Baton Rouge, Louisiana

By far my favorite Serop's Location. The service is always friendly, fast, and with a smile. The food is consistently delicious, fresh, and hot. Thier portions are LARGE so don't let your eyes fool you, one could easily eat twice off of one order. The Gyro meat is seasoned well and with the chicken you have the option of getting the crispy ends (per request). Inside is clean and there is even a drive thru window. Love this spot, always a go to when I am on this side of town looking for lunch. read more

Serops Express - Baton Rouge - Combo plate... With a side salad and sautéed eggplant! - Greek Near Me - Baton Rouge, Louisiana

I love this place, and so do my coworkers. We order from here often & they always get our order right. (This is not the case with many area restaurants.) It is also always ready quickly, hot, & delicious! Not to mention inexpensive. I always get chicken shawarma, feta salad, and the creamed spinach, but everything is wonderful. Thanks, Serops Express! read more

Serops Express is a quick style Greek/Lebanese restaurant with all the things we've come to expect, such as chicken shwarma, gyros, spanakopita, kibbi, etc. They also have a couple things you don't expect, such as a drive thru, and cafeteria style service inside. As a lunch spot, you can't beat how fast they are. Everything comes out hot and fresh (during lunch time) and the prices are more than reasonable. Personally, when I'm picking a lunch place, I rarely choose this one first because the food isn't quite as high quality as some other places nearby. But when the group wants to go here, I'm down. It's pretty good, just not the best. Note that the tables inside accommodate a maximum of 4 people and space is limited. But during lunch, the tables turn over fast. read more

This is my third trip in as many weeks. You know I'm the drive-thru queen because my toddler has super-human abilities in the undressing-and-running-away business. We moved here from New Orleans about five months ago and I'd driven past this place a few times on my way to grab chicken fingers for the kid. My new neighbor was talking about the neighborhood conveniences and she mention the healthy drive-thru options. Guilt free! So we opted for spanakopita in lieu of chicken fingers. One spinach pie was half the size of a PBJ with the luxury of vegetable servings for days, so you bet your sweet ass I've been back. For me the hummus was outstanding. Right up there with Majhed-from-Lebanon's-mother's so yes please. I only wish they would lose the styrofoam containers so it could last a few days. Consider the plastic option, please. The feta salad is so good. Actually, I need to go back for feta salad tomorrow. (Thanks for reminding me). So, yeah. YUM. All I'd ask is that someone please ask the staff to please not smoke outside the drive-thru back door. The wind takes it back and since rolling down the window isn't optional, it would be a nice gesture. read more

The food was incredible, but that was not what makes this quick Mediterranean spot so good. The staff was friendly, genuinely kind and made the experience more than a quick eat. As we sat in a clean corner table, the staff chatted with every customer in the place. The food and portion size was excellent. Pricing was weird for a gyro platter being more than if you picked their four sides (essentially put together the same plate). I would not suggest dining in my significant other had a hard time with the radio/noise in the background. read more
