I'm just passing thru and didn't want to eat fast food so my go to is always some kind of Mediterranean. Albasha had pretty good reviews so I gave it a shot and got the Gyro Sandwich - which was a Gyro pita wrap and it was GOOD! It came with a side salad that had a really good garlicky tzatziki type sauce w/ feta + hummus and pita . Like I mentioned the wrap was really good and had a great portion of meat but it was pretty much just meat and sauce and a tomato slice or two and like one piece of red onion. I just put my salad onto it, but I think it might be a little more balanced with a little less meat and a few more veggies for crunch and freshness --But either way it tasted really good which is the most important part! read more

Whoa, I haven't been here in a long time like before Covid hit the USA and man have I missed it. I've never eaten inside because I'm the only one in the family that has a taste of the mediterranean. So I always get it to go and smell it all the way home. I get the gyros plate which comes with a feta cheese salad, rice, pita bread, fabulous hummus and my yummy yummy meat!! It's a lot of food or at least to me it is. I'll eat on it between 2-3 meals, which isn't bad when you break down the lunch price of $14.30 (that's tax included there) before Covid it was under $10.00 but still for someone who can eat in on it more than one meal that's no to shabby! I've never met the owners but they keep a very clean and relaxing restaurant. The employees are always very kind and helpful. read more

Never had bad food at this location and my man and I order from them somewhat regularly when funds allow it. The lamb shank plate is always good though occasionally is a bit sweet, though I can look past it. The hummus is always fresh and I even eat their salad! (I hate lettuce with a passion bit their Greek yogurt type sauce is good enough that I actually enjoy it. It's always fresh as well. Makes me feel healthy when eating it.) The atmosphere is nothing to really write about. It's good and clean in the restaurant which is all anyone can ever ask for. I always let myself give in and touch their water fountain for funsies which I'd say adds to the ambiance. My only issue is the creepiness of the one manager. He's a somewhat sleezy seeking guy who is always talking to the young pretty waitresses and giving these flirty facial expressions. Never seen him look as polite to the male staff. I simply would advice against working their if you're young and pretty. read more

Walked over to Albasha's Greek & Lebanese in Walker. It was about a 10 minute walk from the LaQuinta Hotel. The food was flavorful with generous portions. I ordered the Combination Gyro and Chicken Shawarma Plate. The Gyro and Chicken Shawarma were tender. It also came with pita bread, salad, hummus, and rice ( very little, could have been more) . The service was fast and friendly, and the restaurant is clean and cozy. I recommend this place to anyone who likes Mediterranean food. read more

This restaurant 'USED to Be' absolutely amazing but it has taken a downward spiral regarding the food preparation. I still hold out hope for them to make a comeback but not much. The food is not very good anymore. The wait staff does try & they are pleasant young ladies but a full Retraining of the cooks is a MUST. read more

Well we ordered through DD, but the order was missing one of our items, and the hummus tasted rancid. We asked for extra pita, and got cold pita bread in a plastic bag. I eat Albasha in BR quite often, and it's always about the same. I happened to be in Walker, so I went ahead and ordered my normal stuff. The gyro was fine, but the salad barely had a teaspoon of dressing, and the salad was unusually bitter. The hummus was very off,--liquidy and tasted rancid to the point I won a travel pass to my bathroom all next day. The sandwich was awesome though. It's like they thinned out the hummus with dish water. And when I pay for extra pita, I normally expect it pressed and warmed. BR residents be warned that this Albasha is not like the others in terms of quality. read more

Very good Sunday dinner, meal was served pipping hot and everything tasted fresh. The Albasha platter was huge , made two meals. The gyro meat flavorful, juicy , and plentiful. Rice fluffy , salad green and crisp but the kibbi and grape leaves were outstanding. The kibbi , crispy ,packed with meat and seasoning. Definitely tasted made in house and not frozen. Oh my was that incredibly delicious! The wrap was perfect flavor and texture, tender. Hummus and tazhiki were fresh, beautiful aromatic, smooth, perfect texture. The kabob beef was so tender you could cut it with the butter knife. We stopped off the hwy sign, never been here, as travelers from Texas. Gotta make. I love albasha! Better than all the other Greek places around! However if you get food to go they forget things to your order which was very upsetting! Won't be taking out again. Also the chocolate cake sucks do not order it's the worst cake I've ever tasted. The service is always great! My favorite is, of course, the chicken swamara. The baklava is not made in house but they put a sugar syrup on top (which is just cooked sugar and water) which makes it perfect! They put a new batch in every Thursday for ashta if you want that to be fresh there you go! read more

The staff is always friendly and prompt from my experience. The food is is on par with most Greek and Lebanese restaurants in The USA. I am a fan of the lamb shank.
