I went in for a pedicure and ended up with a really bad infection. The last week and a half has been a nightmare and I am still dealing with my toe and nail infection issues. I went in because I met the owners and they seemed nice but I should have just went to my normal spot because they set me back months of medical pedicure time and money. Back in November I went to have a medical pedicure to correct my nail growth. It took a lot of money and months to get my nails growing correctly. In one pedicure appt I was set back to the beginning. Now I have to start over once the infection is gone. I wouldn't recommend anyone go here. Just a warning to save you time and pain. read more

I love a good nail salon, and this one did not disappoint! I came in yesterday with my sister-in-love after picking up her wedding dress from the shop next door. I'm very picky about where I get a pedicure--no cuts, no rushed service, and no pressure for overpriced add-ons. After reading the reviews and hearing positive feedback from the lady at the wedding shop, we decided to give this place a try, which saved us time and hassle looking for a solid salon. We were welcomed immediately by two lovely ladies and were attended to right away. My SIL was taken care of by Mai and Sally, while I was pampered by James and Danny. They were amazing--gentle, attentive, and didn't pressure us into getting any unnecessary add-ons. The whole experience was so relaxing. It was honestly the best and sweetest service I've ever received, and my SIL, who doesn't get her nails done often, absolutely loved it. The total came to $220 for both of us, which I feel is very reasonable compared to other salons. The pricing made sense, and the quality of service was worth every penny. I'm not very active on yelp with giving reviews but my experience at Serenity Nails & Spa this past weekend was amazing so I had to write one. I called asking if they had any last minute availability for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. I was lucky to have called when I did and they fit me in right away as they were pretty busy when I arrived just 5 minutes after calling. Right when I walked in they were incredibly welcoming and appreciative. They asked if this was my first time here. I said yes, so they thanked me for coming in and offered me 10% off. A little later I was talking to Paula who was doing my nails, and she asked what I was doing today so I mentioned it was my birthday. They then offered me 20% off. I very rarely get my nails done but I couldn't not post about my amazing experience. From the other customers there and their conversations I can tell they have very loyal customers which I can see why with their incredible service. I will definitely be back! read more

5 stars for Sally and the great manicure she gave me. I would go back because of her and I would recommend her. The -2 stars is for Nicole. I received a pedicure from Nicole and it was the worst pedicure I've had. I've been getting my toes done for 15 years. Nicole was expressively annoyed because I did not want to upgrade from a regular pedicure. I get my nails done often and do not need anything extra, typically. She tried to push a few services on me and when I very politely declined she abruptly moved my feet into the water to soak. She did not give the massage that every other pedicure comes with for even just a minute for two. She splashed water on my legs instead of lotion and she was done within about 15 minutes. She definitely didn't do even bare minimum quality. I'm still mad at myself for tipping her after that experience! Avoid Nicole. read more

The pictures speak for itself but I honestly don't think everyone will get this result from every nail tech that work here. This isn't my first time here. My first experience was surprisingly great because the nail tech that helped me at the time, was able to accommodate me last minute and still do such a great job with my nails. She didn't rush, she listened to exactly what I wanted and I absolutely loved that so I decided to come back. I didnt realize that I had to book with her directly. Coming back the second time, I called and scheduled an appointment for a full set and pedicure. They were able to accommodate me on the same day. Unfortunately upon my arrival, I didn't see the last girl I worked with. The salon was empty of customers when I arrived but the lady that I worked with this time, asked me to wait for 15 mins before starting the appointment that I came on time for. THAT WAS UN PROFESSIONAL. We finally get started and let me just say.. When I go to get my nails done, the only things I expect to do is relax and love my nails. NONE OF THAT HAPPENED. It took 4 hours to get this service done and they made me feel uncomfortable the whole time. Ive never had such a horrible experience like this before. I feel like they played me and ripped me off so I really don't plan on doing business with them again. read more

The kind of place that you "make an appointment." Yet they just take whoever walks in, whenever they walk in. There isn't an actual system. It's really chaotic and there isn't anywhere to wait. I went with my old neighbor. It was not relaxing and the nail techs were talking mad shit and cackling so loud, I couldn't talk to my friend who was literally sitting right next to me. I felt super uncomfortable and did NOT enjoy it. I was forcefully TOLD to go sit somewhere else, so a completely different tech could do someone else's nails, while my friend was getting her nails finished. Really poor. The staff was beyond rude and I would not ever come back or recommend it to a friend. It was really busy and hectic and they had poor ventilation. They could at least throw a bench or two outside. Uhhhh, yuck. What a poor experience. They get tons of business because it is surrounded by apartments. If that wasn't the case, they would have a problem getting business. As bad as it gets. Used to go see Elian for her amazing services and nail art. Went today to be told that she's no longer there. Ok no worries, still need to get my nails done and was told they can do nail art. After getting cut several times and the tech using actual glue to seal the cut I decided that I didn't want to be there much longer and just asked for French tip in red. She appeared to struggle with doing the French tip having to redo one finger multiple times I was also told that the cuts were accidents and only happened because I have thin skin. I was in no way compensated or given any kind of discount for the multiple cuts that I had when I left. Super sad and won't be returning. read more

I can't speak for a full set or a manicure but I do come here for a pedicure and let me tell you... SALLY is hands down, THE BEST! She gave me the best pedicure and the spa service is one of the best I've had in a long time! She's very attentive to detail, she's super sweet and she gives the BEST massages! If you really want to experience a great spa/pedicure treatment, she's the one to go to! Trust me! I've gotten many pedicures in my lifetime but nothing compares to Sally's work. I'm sorry but this salon is just a no for me! went in as a walk in cause i decided last minute to get my nails done. i have been on the search for a new nails place as my regular gal is taking a hiatus. i will admit, i may not be the easiest, i have such sensitive nail beds & im that girl that brings in pics from pinterest & ask "can you do this"! i know i'll pay the price & i tip well on top of that. so walkin in to this place, the dude didn't seem too friendly & that should've been my first clue to leave. when i asked if they have time for a fill, & he asked "well what do you want on it, what kind of design cause i may not be able to take you" should have been my 2nd clue. i didn't even have my phone out with my cache of designs i wanted. so i just said well can we do a cat eye, just as i looked down at all their samples & saw a bunch of cat eye samples. he said ok. & i asked well they can at least do acrylic fill right? he said yea & it just didn't get better... as she's removing my previous gel polish, very rough with the dremel, my fingers are already starting to hurt, i look down & notice spots on the techs fingernails. i realize she's got FUNGUS on her nails. not just in 1 spot, but numerous nails! why oh why didn't i just get up & leave?? instead, i asked the guy to ask her if she can please put some gloves on, because she has fungus on her nails. & she does. as she's doing my fill, she's not loading up lots of product, which means my nail won't be too thick which i really like. so that's good. i'm like ok maybe it'll be fine. nope, as she's filing & shaping my nail, she is sooo close to my cuticles & then yup! she CUT ME. she was grinding it so much all my cuticles are raw! but yea she cut me so much i was bleeding. i should've left then but nope, i was like i may as well finish. thankfully i picked a color that hides everything cause my nails aren't smooth, there are particles under my polish, almost every nail has bits of hard stuff under the color, it's like i asked for textured nails (which i didn't). at least the color is pretty cool. but my nails are different shapes, they're wavy, & the more i look at them i noticed they're the tips are slanted she filed them crooked. to top this all off, their prices were deceiving. the cat eye design came out to +$10 mind you, all the other samples said +$8 & the sample i actually picked didn't have any +$ on it, but i was fully prepared to pay extra! but don't charge me $10 when all your stuff says 8!! when i asked about it he said yea that's old pricing. naw dude, then update yo stuff. & they charged +$5 for long nail. my nails aren't even that long!! & i still tipped her overall-it just doesn't get worse then this place. inexperienced, outdated, & UNCLEAN. i wish i took a pic of her nails too, but here's my proof of the carnage. & prayin i don't end up with fungus on my nails. read more

I've been going to serenity nail and spa for nine years. In the past few years, I have gone to Ray for my gel manicure and Jenny for my pedicure. Ray is absolutely amazing and he's the reason I kept going there. But recently someone else is running the salon and both Ray and Jenny quit PLEASE if anyone knows where they both went, I would love to find out because the new owner/manager at Serenity Nail will not tell me where they went or does not know where they went, I had someone else do my nails there recently and they did not do a good job. I had a very specific picture with short length nails and he made them way too long. Also the women staff made fun of what I wanted which is rude. They were laughing. Not a pleasant experience. He was nice and gentle with my cuticles but the way he applied the powder was really amateur and he did not shape them at all at the end. So they are thick and very unnatural looking.
