Lovely ambiance, lovely space, lovely people, love that they roast their coffee on site. Now about the espresso...whatever they were pulling that morning was not my favorite I have to admit. I drink my coffee black, usually an americano and that day I ordered it over ice. I couldn't really taste the coffee. I asked them to add en extra shot and they gladly added it without an extra charge. Sadly the coffee became too acidic for my liking and I ended up not drinking most of it. I would however absolutely return to this coffee shop and give them another chance. Maybe the roast they had that morning was not my cup of tea and maybe I can ask if they have something different. A pour over perhaps? Don't skip this place, I'm all about supporting local coffee shops. Local over big chains 100% of the time. I'm looking forward to giving this place another shot next time I hike North Mountain. read more

Good coffee and a welcome change from chain coffee shops! Their cold brew is my favorite in this area. I have tried a few seasonal flavors and honestly it's tough to tell the difference as the flavoring is so subtle. The staff is nice but I wouldn't go as far as to say friendly; it usually seems like I'm interrupting their conversation and once they take my order they turn away from the counter and jump right back to talking only to each other. Not the welcoming or warm experience you'd expect from a small coffee shop atmosphere. read more

Probably never going back after finding out I HAVE BEEN GETTING OVERCHARGED AND RIPPED OFF ON EVERYTHING I HAVE BOUGHT THERE, AT least the coffee and espresso drinks, AS TOLD BY A YOUNG WHITE MALE EMPLOYEE WITH CURLY DARK HAIR just 10 minutes ago. Around 9:15 a.m. this sunny and cold Monday, January 8th., 2024. This was the same employee who waited on me last time, never seen him in there prior to that. A young girl with blonde hair took my order, then he stepped in after I questioned the mystery "Tax" as he called it. And I pointed out, no, the tax is listed right on the screen. Then the girl said "oh I rang the wrong item up, same excuse he had given me the last time I was in here, what a joke this place all of the sudden became in my last two visits, I'm appalled. I had met the owner of this establishment, Daniel, on several occasions, and he seemed like a great person, and usually get good service up until now. So I guess it's time to track my receipts through the convenient text and e-mail system they provide for customers and SEE HOW MUCH MONEY SERAFINA COFFEE HAS STOLEN FROM ME SINCE I HAVE BEEN A GREAT CUSTOMER OF THEIRS, damn shame, I really liked this place...the buck stops here read more

I grew up in the neighborhood, moved away years ago, was in town for a quick visit and stopped in for a cold brew. This place is a delight and I'm jealous that we didn't have such a great coffee hang out when I was a teenager. The cold brew was cinnamon-y and delightful. As I added cream, I noticed a VHS tape art piece on the wall. I don't know if this is a deliberate call back to the family video store that was in the same location decades ago, but it brought such a huge smile. read more

I've been a regular customer, if Serafina Coffee Roasters, for quite awhile. Up to this point, the food there, was ok. Prices are comparable, to like venues. But this past Thursday, I ordered a slice of carrot cake, and couldn't finish it, because it was stale. The cake was dry and it tasted old. I replied to their questionnaire, and informed them, if it. Hoping I'd get a decent reply. Maybe an apology. All I have received from them is, maybe I should go to Dutch Bros. I own a service business, with over 700 customers, and never in 27 years, have I treated anyone as Serafina, has treated me. I would not recommend this establishment, because their food is mediocre, at best. The ownership cares nothing about customer service, and all 6 of us that use to go there, will not be returning, and we'll tell everyone about the bad service. One redeeming quality of this place, is that the young people, working behind the counter, are very friendly. If you like stale, overpriced desserts, this is the place for you to come to. Damian and Bri have done it again! Come visit the newest and coolest coffee shop in Phoenix, you won't regret it. The coffee is incredible, the people are friendly, the ambiance is on point. It's the neighbourhood coffee shop you want in all the neighbourhoods. We get our beans from these guys - they roast almost everyday, and it's such a treat to watch. You can tell the beans are so fresh. I bring them home to grind in our espresso machine, and I can't recommend any other bean as much as I do Serafina's. Drinks wise, we got the pistachio rose to share, and it was delightful. Nutty, floral, and so so smooth. I'm definitely checking out their fall drinks next. Seating: There's a lot of seating inside for small groups, and a new patio outside as well. I definitely got some "Friends" vibes from the couch and brick wall. The millennial in me is very happy. There are a couple seats that have plugs close to them, but would definitely recommend coming with a full battery if you can. I love how airy and open it feels in here with the huge windows letting in the light. Maybe it was just the breeze in the air, or maybe it was the warmth of the coffee shop, but this visit wrapped me up in a lovely autumn hug. read more

Never had a bad roast or meal from here, you can tell they take it seriously and listen to feedback. Floral notes in their roast are intense and a pleasure to enjoy. Employees look at ease and are knowledgeable on all drink styles and have fun with management. The selection of drinks (both regular and seasonal) is great, and they also have sandwiches, muffins, etc. Really quick and friendly service, even when it's busy. The artwork and building are lovely and there's great ambience; I've met friends and colleagues at this spot quite a bit. My only complaint is the lack of outlets; I'd definitely stay longer if there was somewhere to charge. read more

10/10 would recommend. My first time in I got a lavender honey latte and a blueberry muffin. Latte was perfectly hot and not too sweet. The service is friendly and fast. They were busy but quick. Second time in the fall menu was posted and I chose a s'mores latte. Perfect afternoon pick me up. We wanted to try a different coffee shop today and stumbled upon Serafina. Walking in is instantly welcoming. There's great seating and all kinds of handmade goods from different artists. We purchased two reusable iced coffee cups. The menu is vast. My wife went with and iced honey lavender oat milk latte and I went with a cold brew with a slight shot of cinnamon syrup. The coffee is phenomenal. It's got a slight hint of cinnamon itself, very low acid and overall crazy tasty! Wish they were in Tucson, it'd be our new "spot." I love the spaciousness here. The playlist they have going now is all 80's which is a pleasant surprise and rare at cafes nowadays lol. I have 3 pointers to give to management: For the sandwiches, make sure enough flavor is added to it, like the pesto sauce on the Caprese, I thought it was very bland and there wasn't enough of the pesto in it, so I didn't enjoy it much. The music level could be a lot lower so patrons that come to settle here for a bit can focus on their work. The employees should know which teas are caffeine free. I asked the staff and neither knew which options were strictly herbal. I can't have caffeine in the afternoon so I shouldn't risk trying something without knowing for sure. read more

The inside is so nice, there were groups meetings in the morning which was noisier, but then the afternoon was super quiet with tons of people working/studying. My baby has a dairy intolerance so I have to drink milk alternatives and even though it's no on their menu they are able to accommodate dairy free! My baby knocked over my drink when I was halfway through and the manager or owner or someone came over, mopped it up, and then gave me a whole new drink for free! Fantastic coffee drinks, and yummy muffins. The main thing to love about this place is the quality and freshness of the pastries and the coffee beans. There's a lot to be said about the benefits of freshly roasted beans, I just love when coffee has notes of chocolate that you can taste with out adding anything. These are so good I've gone in just to buy bags of beans for my morning coffee's. That being said if you going to order a drink the "cafe miel" delightful iced or hot, in the winter the "melting snow" is almost as good. I love the drinks, but they are on the sweeter side, people I'm with often request half sweet, or barely sweet. It's a really welcoming coffee shop, plenty of seating, but also plenty of people and family's enjoying it so it can be crowded.
