This is a great little place to get coffee. I came on a Sunday morning around 11 am and it was busy. There were a couple baristas working away who made my flat white quickly. The coffee was very good! The cool thing too is that there was a small jazz trio that set up and had started playing while I was there! read more

So I just moved to Phoenix 4 months ago and I'm having a hard time adjusting and find a coffee shop I like. I stumbled upon this one and decided to check it out. I went in and the beautiful ladies working there were super kind! The place vibe was so welcoming and comfortable and I felt happy. I was able to pull my laptop out and work a little bit. Always a cute little shop to spend some time with my friends. Definitely one of the better spots in North Phoenix, and the staff is always super friendly. I am partial to their blueberry scones, which are sometimes a bit stale, but are delicious in literally any case so I buy them anyway, and they pair excellently with their very, very good coffee. My own gripe is that they have delicious seasonal specials, and you used to be able to check what the menu was online, but recently they redid their website and the menu is nowhere to be found. Its not that big of a deal, and gives me an excuse to go there (which I do not need) but I have found it hard when ordering for a group for people who are not familiar to pick their poison. A hidden gem in north Phoenix! I can't believe I have lived so close and only recently stopped by for the first time. It's the corner unit of a plaza and pretty big inside. Various areas to sit and eat or hang out. We visited around Christmas so they had their winter holiday menu and every single drink sounded amazing. I got the Black Forest iced coffee which was chocolate and cherry and I literally have not stopped thinking about it for a month. My husband ordered the strawberry banana smoothie and that was tasty. It's okay. Thought I'd try it since I was out and about. I had ordered a gingerbread latte and it tasted flavorless. They seemed distracted so they might've forgotten the flavor. At moments the espresso would leave a burnt aftertaste...which usually means the espresso is sitting in the tin for a bit too long. It's a nice local spot to relax and get away from your family for a minute The food is pretty good for a cafe like this though i would appreciate more healthy options like a veggie hummus plate or some salads. HOWEVER the coffee is not up to my (possibly high standards). The only thing i can order reliably is a cappuccino which i love but if i order an americano, they give me a cold brew. If i order an iced black coffee, they give me a cold brew. The lattes taste like milk even with an extra shot. Still brand new. Located at the corner end of the plaza. You'll spot the wings on the door but no signage yet. My favorite season with all the fall favorites and pumpkin spice. I asked for the most popular and it was The Cinderella but I ended up with my usual, Pistachio Rose. Had the perfect blend of nutty and flora flavors. I got the medium size which came with three shots. Kept me wired the entire drive back to San Diego. The baked good are delicious WHEN fresh. My last scone was so dry, and stale. The low score comes from two separate incidents. When I ask for coffee to be ground a certain way, the employee questions it with who I think might be an owner, he gives her a different direction. The coffee is useless in for my method of coffee maker due to their ignorance of this particular coffee maker. I don't expect everyone to know everything, but would appreciate if they just did what I asked for without a confrontation. Lastly, this assumed owner throws F bombs like he is in a locker room. I am not sure if he is trying to be "hip" with his young, female employees, but it is off putting. This morning the cafe had a fair amount of young kids. Been to this spot about a dozen times. It gets busy on the weekends so be prepared to wait. It's really good coffee. At least for this area. Service can be slow depending on who is working but worth the wait. I've had a few of their baked items. They are okay. Bagels are dry. Would not recommend. Stopped by this coffee shop on Monday because it was around the corner from the hotel we were staying in. Upon walking in, we were not greeted at all and did not feel welcome. My cousin and I ordered the exact same drink and both tipped the same, however she was overcharged on her drink and an extra tip was added. I was watching the baristas (2 young women) while we waiting for our drinks and as another customer walked in, they looked at each other and make faces and just looked awkward as they were helping us and him. Definitely not quality customer service, and after reading these reviews and the responses that the business provides to other people, they're not very professional. Definitely would not recommend this place if you're looking for a welcoming environment and good customer service. I have been wanting to go to seraphina in downtown Phoenix but now I'm happy there's a location so much closer to me! It is bigger in here than I had expected, good amount of people but line was short and they got everything out quickly. Everything on their fall seasonal menu looked so delicious, but I got the pumpkin chai iced with almond milk. I also got a roasted everything bagel with cream cheese. The chai was delicious! The coffee here is great and they have an awesome chai that went well with two shots of espresso. The spice level was perfect for me, it's been awhile where Chai actually had some flavor! Also had their Black Tea and coffee chip gelato. Black Tea is good and this flavor gelato had more of an ice cream consistency which is not a bad thing for me. Interior is open layout, perfect for meetups and hanging out. The two ladies were welcoming and friendly which is always a plus. Definitely coming back. read more
