September has the most delicious Baileys coffee and I wish they were closer to home! It doesn't stop me from going though! I have brought over a couple of family and friends to try September out and every single person has loved it! It's a great place to study and the interior inside is really nice. There's areas that are more private for time where you want to study and some spots inside for hanging and catching up with friends. They have so many drink options such as iced lattes, hot drinks, blended drinks, etc. and they also have multiple food options as well! Their workers are very friendly and quick and they bring your order to you which is really nice :) I can't wait to go back! Parking: 9/10 (shared with other shops in plaza) Food/Drinks: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Interior: 10/10
order: *tornado miscoff latte *matcha latte *mango dragonfruit latte *sweet purple potato latte *mushroom carabona pasta *garlic cream cheese croissant *fresh banana croffle *ice cream hot pot (pick 4 out of their 12 flavors!) review: this oc cafe has some of the cutest desserts and pretty specialty drinks, like the mango dragonfruit, which are all made from fresh fruits! even the little bears on top are made with real fruits too! for example: yellow is mango black is coffee red is raspberry green is green tea this place is a great spot to hangout with your friends and family and dine in with some delicious food to eat (and post on the gram )
I'm not sure why but I thought the cafe would be bigger from pictures. That's not a big deal but just thought I'd point it out just in case others would think the same haha. Service: I would rate it a 4/5 and that's the main reason the rating is what it is. At first I spoke Vietnamese to the cashier but she didn't seem to understand so I had to speak in English. Then after I ordered, she talked in Vietnamese to the next customer :') I don't blame her though because perhaps it was on me speaking too low or not pronouncing the name of the food well. She recommended a drink for my mom that she said wasn't sour but it was still very sour for her. She was kind enough to offer to make another one or add in extra sugar. Food: It was okay. The egg cream toast is simple, so hard to mess up. It was alright! Creamy and not too sweet with not too overwhelming of an eggy flavor. Mushroom Carbonara was creamy and pretty good. Probably the best thing we ordered out of the three food items! Banh Mi Que was okay. The shredded pork filling, my mom said wasn't good. The bread on the outside is fine. The ham and cheese was loved by my niece! I'm sure if they had the pork belly, my mom would have liked that one. Drinks: Semi-decent. The sakura blossom latte was more milk than anything. I didn't taste enough of the sakura/cherry blossom flavor. Barbie yakult was good but also average and not wow. If you like flavor then the peach orange lemongrass drink is actually really good. My mom just isn't able to handle sour. Overall, I could have given a lower score as it felt disappointing despite the reviews seeming different. I don't think I'd come here again. I leave it at 4 stars, like I said, mainly because I'm at least thankful they seemed so willing to make things better for our drinks if we were not satisfied.
Came by on a late Friday night. Only a few other patrons so we were able to find seating easily. Flipped through their extensive drink menu and decided on the sour sop tea, mango yakult, strawberry mojito (virgin), sea salt coffee, a macaroon, and a mousse cake shaped like a chubby hamster. Drinks came out in decent time and were very refreshing! Definitely enjoyed the sour sop tea the most! Plenty of fruit pieces to munch on after you finish your drink as well. The mousse was okay, but I would order again for just the laughs. There was a cute frozen bear on top of our mango yakult drink, which was a nice touch. Would be a regular stop for me if only we lived closer. There were plenty of food options, but we had just came from dinner so we didn't get to try them out.
I met up with a friend here early morning for some coffee and girl chat. It was easy to find there is a huge parking lot with plenty of space for you to park your car. There is also plenty of seating inside. The inside of the café is so beautiful and perfect for photos. It's very modern very shake. Service was great. The front desk and cashier was also very helpful in deciding what drink we should get helping us. Look at the menu and recommending their favorites. Go wrong with the Vietnamese egg coffee, and some chill vibes. Will definitely come back.
This place has been my go to for avocado coffee and Vietnamese Coffee. The owner here is consistently nice and welcoming! Their food options are also great and the ambiance is great however I do no think this the place to relax/study as there are a lot of people that comes here to socialize. I highly recommend for you to try this place.
Sundays call for brunch aaannnddd coffee dates. I've had this spot saved for a while and finally got the chance to check it out. Parking: Free parking lot. There's a small/medium parking lot. Finding a spot can be easy. Ambiance/Environment: The interior is very cute. They have a decent amount of indoor seating. There's a small den with a booth-ish seating. There are regular-height tables and chairs and shorter tables and chairs. It's a studious environment but also a nice spot to hangout. Service: The cashier that assisted me was simply efficient. Throughput was quick after ordering. We only waited about 12 min for everything. Drinks & dessert: The menu can be overwhelming. They offer small bites, desserts, milk teas, coffee, fruit teas, teas, yogurt, blended drinks, etc. Although the photos of the drinks look appealing, the presentation doesn't match. I was told they no longer offer drinks in a glass even if you're dining in. All drinks are in to-go cups. I got the Truffle Coffee, Vietnamese Black Coffee (with no sugar), and Egg Cream Toast. If you prefer your drinks strong and bitter, then the Vietnamese Black Coffee will be perfect for you. The bear on top is absolutely cute. Make sure you drink this properly - always let Vietnamese coffee sit and don't slurp it in two gulps. Hence why there's a lot of ice. The Truffle Coffee tasted exactly as it sounds .. I thought the flavors were okay, but I believe truffle should only stay with savory dishes lol. The egg cream itself was thick and creamy. I was expecting some fancy french toast along side with it, but it's literally just toasted white bread. Pricing: More on the expensive side for coffee in OC. I'd come back to try their other drinks bc they all sound appealing. I wouldn't get the egg cream toast again.
Craving dessert randomly late one Tuesday night and stumbled upon this nice dessert cafe while on the area. It's a nice sized store with plenty of tables inside and some stool seating that faces out to a busy street which is always nice to watch cars drive. The vibe was very chill and mellow at the time i went, great for reading a book or bringing your laptop to study. This place offers a variety of teas, coffees, ice creams, cakes, and croffles on their menu to name a few. I went with a single scoop of their Pandan Ice Cream which costs $5.50, but you get 5% off if you pay by cash or venmo. The service was very quick and the server who brought my ice cream out to my table was friendly. The single scoop was a generous portion and it came with oreos which was a nice surprise. The flavor was right on point, not too sweet, but you can still taste the pandan in each bite. I'll have to come back next time to try their other desserts!

Came here with my dad for some coffee after lunch on his recommendation. Now my dad is very hard to please when it comes to food and drink - particularly Vietnamese coffee. He spoke very highly of this place which is all but a guaranty of quality. Sure enough, I was very satisfied with the coffee, it's on the stronger side which is perfect to me. I had iced while he had the hot. We were helped by Alisha who was very friendly. Very cozy, classic coffee shop vibe. Pay with cash / zelle / venmo for 5% off! Also free wifi so come here and enjoy some good coffee and desserts to relax or do some work.
September is an adorable cafe with plenty of seating and sweet/savory food options for studying or catching up with friends! The desserts are both made in house, and I'm normally picky about desserts but theirs are light, airy, and not too sweet which I loved. The individual decor on the drinks were the perfect cherry on top. we got their matcha cherry blossom (not too floral), tiramisu coffee (coffee base + cream top) and mango yakult (so refreshing/slightly carbonated). For foods we chose finger foods like the precut cream cheese garlic croissant and bread sticks (ham, cheese, pork belly!) with a crispy exterior. Favorites were the desserts!! I loved the berry choco mousse and passion cheesecake. We also got the oreo and tiramisu bunny since there's a buy 3 get 1 free promo! overall the price is amazing considering everythings made in house, and the staff are so sweet and attentive.

I dislike driving on Bolsa, but for this dessert shop, I will! I came here twice in the last couple months and both times, I enjoyed my food items as well as the customer service. When you first walk in, you're greeted immediately and very enthusiastically. This place is absolutely stunning. I love that the furniture is literal logs or slabs of wood. It's decorated very cutely and felt cozy. They have this somewhat of a private corner where you can take instagram pics with your girlfriends, but I noticed it's usually the first seat to get taken, so timing may be of essence. You are given menus and can go find a seat while trying to decide on what to get. They have soooo many options from teas to lattes to icecream. I really enjoy their icecream. I'm not sure if it's pre-bought or housemade, but it's so rich in flavor and the perfect consistency. One of my favorite things to share is the dessert hotpot. For the price to split amongst friends, it is not bad at all! Totally great for the 'gram as well! This establishment will continue to see me! read more
Finally got to try this aesthetic cafe I've been on tiktok. Inside is spacious and bright and there was lots of parking as well. If you pay in cash, it's cheaper. Got the mango jasmine macchiato and the bear was so cute. There's bits of mango bites and the cream was delicious. The slushy was refreshing and perfectly sweet. Also the sea salt cream coffee was yummy. Very concentrated but if you mix the cream, it's perfect. Coffee and salt are indeed perfect partners and you can taste both of them distinctly. I came here for a long study session, and I loved it! I got a brown sugar matcha latte - it was good, just a little sweet and messy to drink but other than that it was great. Workers here were very kind, I was studying here for a couple of hours on Christmas Eve and one of the workers stopped by table to give me some water and asked if there was anything she could get me. Ok I admit, I wanted to go here because it's the month of September and they have that soothing September song that I keep hearing on IG, hahah!!! I'm glad I checked it out! It was in my old neighborhood and didn't know it was in that plaza. I still need to check out their OG one but for now I'm happy I came here. Really nice inside although the cute area we were sitting at, there was random dirty socks on the floor!! Yikes! I'm pretty sure they didn't know about that so I'm not going to put one less star. We saw the ice cream hot pot on Instagram and wanted to come and try. The place is clean and picturesque. If we are ever in the area again, we will go back to try their coffee drinks. The hot pot is very cute; lots of different things to try. It's A LOT. We are a family of four and couldn't finish all of it. Four adults may be able to finish it; if you like sweets. Tried this place with a friend, we saw them on TikTok and wanted to try it out. First off, the decor and ambiance inside is sooo cute. The overall vibes were great. The person at the register, probably the owner, was so friendly and helpful since it was our first time there. I ended up getting their Egg Coffee with a small durian dessert & my friend got their Ube cloud coffee with flan for dessert. This spot has such beautiful decor and cute drinks! My bf and I split the Barbie Yakult and some macarons. I personally thought the drink was ok (just wasn't my style), but my bf loved it. The bear made it so cute though. I tried the salted caramel macaron. It wasn't anything special. This place is pretty pricey, but you're paying for the decor and artistic drinks. -Kumquat tea with salted plum 5/5. Really great blend of citrus and salted plum flavor. I think they nailed it with taste and presentation. One of the most unique drinks I've come across. -Sweet purple potato latte 3.5/5. I appreciated the generous amount of real potato used in the drink, but would much prefer a smooth paste with smaller bits of potato for texture (or completely smooth paste), rather than larger (& dry tasting) chunks of potato at the bottom of the drink. It doesn't mix super cohesively with the milk and salted cream cheese foam. It's not overly sweet and the presentation was really cute too. Overall, the drinks here were relatively tasty, but definitely not the best I've had. The prices are on the higher end, but I believe that the higher quality of fresh ingredients justifies them -Service was very friendly as soon as I came in through the door. They greeted me happily from the counter and checked in on me to take my order after I sat and deliberated what drink to get from their extensive menu! 5/5 -Ambiance 5/5 Super beautiful and cute and well designed. This place is one of the best designed and decorated cafe I've ever been to (& I've been to a lot)! Their attention to detail is next level - from the floors to the ceiling and lighting of course. Wow was this place crowded on Saturday afternoon! My friend & I came around 2 pm & all the tables were filled. The girl taking our order was super friendly & sweet. They have a large selection of drinks. It kind of reminds me of the drinks they have at Vintage 1979. This is a very Vietnamese type of coffee shop. My friend got the Milky Peach Tea. It was refreshing & hit the spot. The Tornado Biscoff Latte by default just comes with the milk & biscoff paste at the bottom of the drink. The girl working was nice enough to add an espresso shot for me later on. The drink itself was just ok. I think they could have made the biscoff paste less dense & chunky. It didn't really blend seamlessly into the drink even though I like the concept. I would recommend other drinks. A few of the tables and chairs were low so not the best study spot. The wifi disconnected several times too and there were only a few plugs. I think this spot is great if you're trying to have a casual & lively hangout since they also offer food & a range of pastries! It was hard to walk around the cafe since it was so crowded but definitely a popular spot for sure. Maybe I'll come back when it isn't so crowded. read more

Such a cute cafe!! The interior is beautifully decorated and creates a super cute aesthetic. The cashier also had great energy and attitude, she really created such a bright environment! We ordered the Vietnamese Condensed Milk Coffee and Tiramisu Coffee. The Vietnamese coffee was exactly how I wanted it- strong & bold and not overly sweet. The tiramisu was also very good- very creamy and sweet. Though the bear is ADORABLE, it was a bit of a hassle drinking the tiramisu as the bear was balancing on a ladyfinger. **Note: not all drinks come with the bear & it is an additional $1.50 to add the bear!! September is a cozy place for an afternoon tea!!! They have a good selection of choice: from afternoon tea set of small bite cakes to a variety of teas, cafes, and ice cream. A good point is that they make drinks aesthetically and right amount of tea/coffee balanced well with a level of sweetness. The concept of this cafe drew me in everything was so adorable! Usually when drinks are this cute they sometimes tend to fall short in terms of taste. However, I was pleasantly surprised my drink was great! I went with a group and got to try each one they had ordered. The drinks averaged around $8 each. They also were helpful and answered our questions and even gave us sample corn nuts which was nice of them. I would definitely recommend this cafe for a group hangout or a cozy date! read more

If you like cute, aesthetically pleasing coffee/tea spots with great quality drinks and a simple menu for small food items like baguette or stew, this is the place for you. If you are looking for a place to study quietly, I would recommend coming weekday mornings during opening time if you are able to. Any other time of the day would most likely be busier. Staff is really polite, helpful and wonderful and greeted me right when I stepped foot in the door. Food and drinks come out in an appropriate and timely manner. I love how artsy and aesthetic this cafe is. The decor is simple but adds a nice, homey touch to it. I came here for the first time with my best friend and we really enjoyed the coffee and ambiance here. I ordered the Bac Xiu and she ordered the Coconut Coffee. I found my drink rather sweet, but I didn't mind it. My friend liked the taste and sweetness of her drink but just wished it had a bit more coffee in it. Our drinks were made in less than 10 minutes given there were 2 other parties ahead of us. The girls that work there are so sweet, helpful, and attentive. This is a good place to catch up with family and friends. It was rather loud because there are many groups that hang out there on the weekends and the music can be a bit high as well. Therefore, it may not be an ideal place to study at during those times. Overall, good coffee, good vibes, and nice ambiance. I recommend at least coming here once. read more

I came here on a whim to kill some time with my partner. We were both amazed at the decore and service. We got two drinks and a small entree, the beef stew, and all of it was exceptional. The slushee was more like a desert with an orange drink under it and the matcha latte really shines since they use coconut milk. It was a cozy atmosphere with appropriate music and pillows. All of it was fall themed as well. I can't wait to come back during Christmas to see how they decorate. read more

Super cute ambiance ! Both drinks we had were super yummy. The Hawaiian was similar to piña colada and the purple yam drink was tasty but if you are expecting sweet would not recommend as it is more creamy and flavorful. The ice cream was good with the coconut flakes on the outside and it's served with condensed milk. It's enough for 3 as they are large. It does get slightly busy and our drinks did take some time to come out but it's a nice atmosphere to enjoy being in. I would recommend adding what is each drink or a description as they are just names so for us it was hard to pick a drink and we had to ask the counter person what each drink we were considered was like. read more

I found my study cafe in Orange County!! First, it's clean, has a lot of seating, the interior and drinks are solid and serve a cozy aesthetic, and it opens late (8 am to 10 pm)!! They checked off all the holy trinity, triple threat criteria for the perfect study cafe. Second, from cashiers to servers--they are all so kind and sweet. I stayed at the cafe for about 4 hours and noticed how they were all so personable and helpful! Btw, you get a table number, and they bring the drinks/food to your table, so kindly remember to pay at least a small tip when you're pre-paying! Third, they also serve small bites! Which is perfect for when you get a little hungry while studying. They had small baguettes with beef stew, pork floss bread sticks, and more. Idk if this is just me, but while Vietnamese coffee does the trick in activating my focus, the taste is always a bit too sweet for my palette, so I did to-go half my drink. And when they packed it for me, it was like a whole new drink LOL so I felt like I got double the bang for my buck :3 Observations: The restroom is tucked away in the back of the cafe, so the dining/study area feels fresh, distinct, and separated, unlike many popular but smaller cafes I've seen where seating is right by the restroom door. I noticed more locals come to chill than I've seen people come to work. Which I like. It's not a saturated work cafe...yet. Free fast Wifi, free parking. Good dark coffee but pretty pricey. Pretty interior to have coffee with friends or work. Nice people working here but they also charge you for credit card use so be aware of that. $9.50 for regular size coffee including tip is pretty steep. read more

What we got: 9/10: Soursop Tea - $8.25 8/10: Pandan Bac Xiu - $8.50 7.5/10: Lychee Tea - $7.50 September is a picturesque cafe with a warm woodsy feel. There is a good amount of seating but I would not say it's ideal for groups larger than 4. There is a little nook with bench seating and outlets available. The downside to this coffee shop is that the wifi is slow and besides the nook, there were only a few seats with outlets available. There are also few tables with actual tables to work on. This would be great for hanging out with friends! As for the drinks, they are insanely pricey for what you get. The soursop tea was my favorite due to its uniqueness. Not many cafes have soursop on the menu. The drinks are packed with ice so you're not actually getting much in the cup. The Pandan Bac Xiu was well balanced between coffee and pandan flavors. The lychee tea was mediocre and did not stand out at all. Overall, I would not come back. It is too pricey for the small amount of drink and the wifi is way too slow. My friend and I visited and instantly fell in love with the atmosphere. It was busy when we first got there but once we reached the counter, we were greeted by such a sweet worker who had such enthusiastic recommendations. We ordered the ice cream hot pot, cherry blossom matcha latte, and the pandan bac xiu. Everything was delicious and honestly so much for just the two of us. Once we got all our items, the girl who brought our stuff over even offered us another table once the restaurant had cleared out more. Amazing service, the workers constantly asked if we are pleased with our drink, helped us with our order, and personally asked if there's anything they can improve on! They noticed little trash on our table, and quickly asked to clean up. The sweetest people work here. Also this place is really pretty inside and out. They have a parking lot in the back so no need to stress out on that. Not only is it a good place to just chill with friends, but it can be a great study cafe. The menu offers ice cream, sandwiches, hot/cold drinks. Presentation for drinks are a 10/10, and it also tastes really good! Perfect amount of sweetness. Do you guys offer an alternative for milk, so instead of whole milk, can we replace it with oat milk?

Does the place still sells the "ice cream hotpot" if so, how much is it? Because I can't seem to find it on your menu here
I went 23 days ago (and left a review) and they still had it then! It was about $30, I believe.
Do you use any peanuts/peanut products in your drinks/food?
We are a peanut free cafe. However we do have almond, so almond was processed in the same facility as peanut.
Good place for studying? Any plugs?
There's a lot of seating that would be great for studying but there are not many outlets.
