Several people walked in while we were there, but all the appointments were booked. The woman assisting us, Jasmine was wonderful!!!! Incredibly talented, knowledgeable, and kind. Her ability to color match was beyond impressive! I brought a discounted color from another makeup brand I use and she matched it perfectly! That's another recommendation, if you have a color that you want replicated, bring it with you. Or if you've seen a color that you like, even if it's not a lipstick color, bring a picture of it with you. They'll be able to color match it for you. Jasmine also educated us at each step in the process, and answered our many questions. We were locked in while she was making our colors, so we forgot to take pictures of each step, but it's an interesting process. The lab is very chic and colorful! It's great for birthday parties and any celebration with friends. The final product of lipstick I took home feels smooth and hydrating on my lips. However, the wear doesn't last long and it's not as pigmented as I'd like. It requires several applications to get a pigmented finish. I wear frequently wear lipstick, so my standards for pigmentation and longevity are high. Maybe the other products are better, I just didn't get the chance to try.

They do carry some jewelry, but it's a smaller collection of rings and necklaces and nothing I'd say to go out of your way for (ie, no unique look or designer). What I would call it is Diament Gifts as they have an amazing selection for just about any occasion whether it's a new baby, bridal shower or just to treat yourself. They carry a lot of clothes and accessories, soaps, candles, decorations and cards. This store is literally packed with inventory and it changes out on a regular basis (it's also good for almost any holiday!). It's well curated but also impressively stocked in a way few other stores are. Another huge highlight of Diament is the sale section. With so much inventory, much of the more themed items can usually be found marked down for an excellent deal. I especially recommend the sale section for cards, I've found so many great items here. The one thing holiday Diament back from a full five is the customer service. It's incredibly hands-off and fairly unfriendly - when I buy things at a store I expect a smile at the very minimum (small talk or a greeting would be ideal...). After suggesting that I would just go elsewhere where she did offer to ring me up and offered a 50 cent discount for the wait. I did purchase the items because my son was getting upset and I wanted to shield him from the ugliness of the situation. However, the manager just didn't seem like she wanted to serve me and I really felt like I was being treated differently than other customers. I won't speculate about why, but needless to say there are plenty of other businesses in the area that I know will happily serve me and I will never walk through the door of this one again.

I visited the Pure Shea Store in Eastern Market a couple of weeks ago and was eager to purchase their whipped shea butter, but they did not have it in stock as it was too warm outside. I went back yesterday and they had the Coco Mango Shea Butter whipped shea butter (see picture) and their leave-in conditioner which I will get into later. Eager to test it out, I tested it out on my hands and it was nice, but I really loved it when I used it after I showered. There is nothing like smelling good with highly moisturized skin that DOES NOT leave a residue on your bedsheets. What made it better is that I still felt moisturized in the morning as my legs simply glided against one another when I was getting comfortable in another position. Moving on to the leave-in conditioner... The leave-in conditioner did not have a scent printed on it compared to their other products like the coco mango shea butter, but it is not really as important because it smells great nonetheless. Now, we all know that just because a hair product smells good does not mean that it will work for your hair, however, this is not the case for this product. I applied a small amount to the palm of my hands, rubbed them together as it melted like butter, and ran it through my hair (which I think is 4a/4b and high porosity, but is currently blowdried). This product rejuvenated my hair and made it feel so soft as maintaining hydration can be difficult for me at times. Pricing... At first glance, the prices appear a little pricey. The 7.5oz of whipped shea butter was $17 and the 15oz of leave-in conditioner was $14 (This is a more understandable price). However, given the quality of the products where A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY...the prices are worth it (see second photo below which is how much product I used after my first official use). I have a feeling these products will last me a few months or more which is awesome to me! Overall opinion: These products hold true to their name regarding providing moisture to one's hair and body. Additionally, they have so many other products too such as soaps, hair and body oils for natural hair and locs, regular shea butter in many many scents, and more to try and possibly make a staple in your care routine. Please note that as you can take my opinion into consideration, I highly encourage you to try these products yourself as you may have a similar or different opinion than many being that not all products work the same for everyone. She helped pick out the perfect style for an upcoming photo shoot and ensured I was happy with the style before I left. First of all, so many items are SOLD OUT, honey! Yes. Second of all, the item I was able to order, the lemon scrub, is the highest quality scrub I have ever purchased. Most scrubs I've gotten, I think to myself, "I could have made this at home". But not this scrub. It smells like ACTUAL lemons. Not lemon essential oils, not a fake lemon. Real lemon. Probably because there are actual lemon particles in the scrub. I can't. My parched skin came back from the dead. The scrub breathed new, moisturized life within my cells. I also have to shout out the packaging which was extremely impressive. They have branded tissue paper and it comes with a hand written note from the little babies who started the brand.
