Five Stars for employees and A FAVORITE for me and my girls! It's a 40 mile drive to Sephora, and it's worth it

Honestly I'm in my 80's! And the service here wasn't that nice... to be honist the amount of 10 year olds I seee everytime I come into this store is JUST WILDN! The testers are mushed up and dirty even my granbabais don't even wanna use it and they're 12! I won't say I won't come back to this establishenet but I do say it's nasty and to that I say. 1 STAR! read more

I love going to this Sephora. They're always fully stocked. The girls are super helpful especially Courtney, she helps color matches me and gives me advice on what skincare is best for my skin type. They also have a much bigger selection than the sephora in JC Penny. Only reason I'm giving a 4 star is because parking can be a pain in the butt. They also close earlier than the other locations so it's hard for me to get to. The last time I was in there, I bought the wrong color foundation so I wanted to exchange it for a lighter shade. Same exact brand, just a different shade of color. The lady at the register made me pay an extra $9 for an exchange. When questioned, she simply didn't know why, just made me pay it, didn't call a manager or anything. I had to ask a manager, came to find out, she clicked on the wrong item that was $9 cheaper! Her excuse was "I thought you used a coupon." It's on the purchase history, that wasn't hard to look into. She should've caught that mistake or asked a manager. I just didn't like that I had to ask a manager because she failed to figure out her own mistake. I got my $9, so it's all good. read more

Went in yesterday looking for powder and a few other things for myself and my mother. Christine was extremely helpful with color matching my mom and myself and nailing a powder shade that looked very natural each of us. The people that work there seemed very friendly, outgoing and had great input to some of the things that we were shopping for. The store was not overwhelming nor messy. It was extremely clean, the music wasn't at some blaring volume where you couldn't hear yourself or others speak, and a few of the things that we wanted that weren't out in the store, they immediately checked for stock and offered to have us order it from the store to get free shipping. Overall, I would say this is a great Sephora location. Because it's in an open air shopping area, parking can be difficult during peak times, but it's worth finding parking and shopping at this particular Sephora location. read more

The nicest most helpful beauty attendants are at this location. I wish I could remember their names. I will return and add to this review once I get their names. They were extremely amazing and helpful. My friend was looking to change her foundation to the new Rihanna brand. It was her first time to try the new brand. The attendant walked her through the colors and suggested her best colors she also offered the pros and cons of the brand which was helpful. She sat with us and helped to try on various numbers to fit her best and even provided a sample or two. Eventually my friend settled on her NARS choice. It was her best bet. They were very attentive and were patient. There was no pressure or attempt to 'up sale' items. They provided great feedback and offered great suggestions. I was really impressed. After looking for quite a while, an employee approached me and asked if I was a beauty insider. Before even asking if I needed help looking for anything, might I add. I responded no (I originally forgot that I already was!), and she asked if I wanted to sign up. I then remembered I already was - she then asked for my number (to look up my account, I assume). I responded with "I don't like to give it out," simply because I don't, and I already knew I was a member!! To my astonishment, she responded with "whatever" and walked away while saying things under her breath. Either help me look for what I need or let me brows! read more

I had a great experience here. Staff were super friendly even in all of the Christmas Eve madness. I had a custom makeover appointment. My makeup artist was really nice and took her time with me. Other staff would pass by and comment on how good she was doing which showed that they are pretty supportive of each other. The custom makeover requires spending at least $50 in store. She made suggestions when I asked about things but there was no pressure to spend an insane amount of money. I was also given a couple of samples of products to try. I will say that it took more than 45 minutes so budget more time for makeovers. I wasn't bothered though. She took the time to chat about what I wanted and made sure the makeup was a good match. I'll definitely go back more often. read more

I visited the store for the first time tonight. I was looking for hair products. i asked a blonde headed employee for help and she gave me to another employee. She seemed knowledgeable and polite. After picking out my hair care i asked if she could recommend some eye shadows. She said she would have to ask her manager because late at night they are not allowed to help because employees go home early leaving only one employee in the store. It was 6:45 pm and they close at 8. There were four employees present that i saw in the store. She came back and said her manager said she could not help me. I was in shock. I asked the original employee for the manager and she said she was the manager. i asked again if there was anyone to help.She said they don't help at night what did i want to know. i then asked where the check out was to purchase my shampoo. The employee checking me out, confirmed they don't help at night because of declining sales the company had cut employee hours and they had to cut back on employees. I could have gone to Walmart and gotten more help. I will not be shopping here again. This is why so many stores are closing and online sales are rising daily. Not a sole onsite shopping at this store front. read more

Store carries a lot of good products that I like. The people working in perfume are amazing and willing to help you out and so friendly. There are two workers here that I spent an hour talking to because they were so nice. I am giving this place four stars though because except for maybe three employees, I feel the staff could be friendlier. Also, I rarely see any deals going on here and wish they had more shampoo and conditioner products. They are pricey but they do sell high quality makeup. read more

This store has the best customer service I have ever encountered! As soon as you walk in, someone is there to greet you and help guide you through the store. there's one girl in particular, whom I absolutely adore. She always does an amazing job telling me the pros and cons of a product and doesn't try to convince me to buy the most expensive thing. Also the samples! I was looking forward to finding this store, I've never been and had questions I knew any associate could answer. 20 minutes into the store and not a single employee had even attempted eye contact. I walked around and looked at all the things I wanted, waiting for anyone to assist me. Every employee appeared to be helping a customer or attempting to look busy. As a manager in another retail setting I know that projects and stocking take a back seat to customers. The 3 stars are because the associates seemed to be helping some and there are brands I haven't seen before. I would rather have the choice of 2.5 stars as no one seemed to want to help me and I'm giving the other two for carrying fantastic brands on a corporate level. read more

So, I am def. too close to being friends with the employees just from going in there too often, they are so sweet and they always know how to help, i had one bad foundation match like 3 years ago but even after having used 1/4 of the bottle of NARS foundation they took it back and re-color matched me and got me a new bottlefor free! read more

I went to this store today (4/11/13) with numerous specific products in my online Sephora shopping cart - items I intended to buy at this location after being able to try them on/test them on my skin. The weather was horrible, so there were only 2 other customers in the store. Not only did no one offer to assist me or help me with products, no one even acknowledged my presence or spoke to me the entire time I was in the store. I wandered around, attempted to test products on myself, and was in there for probably 15-20 minutes. Very poor service for a store where service is really required to make a proper purchase. My guess is they're paid hourly and not on commission. I saw a male and a female worker - both of whom were sitting in director's chairs talking to each other the whole time. I went to the White House Black Market store in the same shopping center after leaving Sephora and one of the sales clerks told another clerk "Sephora just brought us tons of samples - take some home with you" - I thought - gee, that must be nice. I won't be visiting this location or making purchases from there in the future. read more

The customer service at this site was amazing! I was highly disappointed that this location does not sell MAC products. Fortunately, I was able to try out some Clinique and I have a new found love for their products. I'm a very satisfied customer. read more

This Sephora is near where I live, and I love going to the Renaissance for a relaxing shopping experience. However, 2 days ago I went to Sephora in search of new makeup releases that I was interested in. One of the items I was looking for was not yet available at the store, that was a bummer but I continued to look around. The 2nd item I had on my list of things to check out was at the store, but not yet on the shelves. So one of the sales associates kindly went into the drawers underneath the live product and found the concealer I was looking for. I picked the shades of concealers that I needed, shopped around for a little longer, purchased my Items, then drove home. The very next morning as I was getting ready for work I opened the shade of concealer that I was getting ready to use for concealing under my brows and under eye area only to find out that it had been opened/ severely dug into. I was disgusted and saddened because I was so excited to use this product. Saturday is a busy 8hr. work day for me so I had no time to return this product that day. But, I will definitely be stopping in today for an exchange or a full refund. Sephora please do a better job of separating testers/damages/returns from live product. It's an inconvenience for some ppl who don't have the time to return products. And the product is so new I don't understand how this mix up even happened. All in all, I'm giving them a 3/5 stars... so many things I was interested in were out of stock and the mix up with the used concealer was definitely off putting. read more

Dreadful customer service... The workers are way too busy talking to each other to provide you any assistance. The one girl that I was finally able to get to help me lacked adequate knowledge of Sephora's cosmetic lines. I am so glad this isn't my home Sephora! read more

I went in to this Sephora looking for my shishedo softner.. I had just ran out! (Tragedy!) I walked in, and the workers were all gathered in the front of the store maybe having a meeting? I walked to the skin care section and found that my beloved softner was out of stock (and previously reading the below review, I was thinking O no.. this is going to suck.. I'm going to be stuck here jumping up and down trying to grab someones attention!) But that wasn't the case at all! I think they saw my searching face... and one of the workers was very gracious and willing to help. She searched all over for my softner, and even another worker vollunteered to walk in the back and search all over! I was shocked at the amazing customer service! And after all the searching, they were sadly out of stock.. :( But alas she walked over and made me little sample bottles from the last lone tester bottle to get me thru my trip! Wow! I ended up snagging some additional skin care stuff and headed out feeling really takin care of! I wish I could remember the girls name! Thanks for being so helpful! read more

I love Sephora! My best friend and I always love to shop here when we have the opportunity to splurge and have a BFF day out. Love the the ambiance of the store and the customer service is excellent!
