I visited the Aqua Day Spa for the first time recently for a Signature Transformation Treatment Facial. It was fantastic! Saying that it was relaxing is an understatement. My face was treated to several different cleaning and exfoliating regiments followed by an extraction process. When I walked out, my skin was absolutely glowing! I would definitely return. I'm excited to try other services as it's a beautiful relaxing spa.

3 stars given: I was able to book 2 1 hour massage appointments the day before so that was awesome. They are located in the mall area. There is a gift shop as you walk in but We were taken back right away. The locker/ shower area was very nice and clean. There is everything you need there if youre not going straight home afterwards. You may want to bring your own flip flops as the ones provided are not comfortable. Theyre made out of a hard plastic. I didnt utilize the shower but my husband did and he loved it. He even bought the shower products before we left. The relaxation/ waiting room was nice and cozy. Water, snacks, magazines and several lounge chairs are in the lamp lit room. A few employees would enter the room periodically calling out names and asking what time their service is for, etc so it was hard to relax though. 2 stars deducted: My massage was one of the worst Ive ever had. We discussed focusing on certain areas before it started and was given ample time to disrobe, etc. This is when I noticed the loud conversations in the next room. After about 30 min, I asked if we were next to a break room and to my surprise he said no that it was another massage room. I could have sworn it was at least 3 people talking. He turned the fan louder which helped drown out the noise. We had discussed focusing on my lower back, shoulders and head. Well the hour was over and my head was never touched. He did something on my upper arm that twisted and pinched my skin which was extremely painful. I take hot baths where my skin is red when Im done and I could barely stand the hot towels he wrapped my feet in, it was sooo HOT. When it was time for my back, he used a faint touch that I could barely feel. Im not into deep tissue which is why I chose swedish but this entire massage was useless. I couldnt believe my head wasnt touched which is my favorite part of a massage and it was only 1 of the 3 regions I specified in the beginning. When it was time to pay, the girls in the front (gift shop area) were not really friendly and didnt even tell us bye or thank you even though we just paid $220 + $30 products for our hour visit. Oh well. I guess there could be worse things to complain about.

Great throws and wraps from barefoot dreams!

The employees are rude and condescending for no reason. Always a difficult experience with these people.

I had such an amazing experience here. I moved recently and I've had trouble finding a masseuse…read morethat knows how to truly give a massage and not just a cursory "rub down" like places that rhyme with Garage Entry. I booked last minute for a facial and a 1.5 hour massage and they were happy to accommodate me. Crystal met me before their normal office hours to start my facial which was SO relaxing. She focused on acne and it actually helped! Instead of an awful steamer she used hot towels and applied four or five creams to my face, each after a cleansing hot towel. She finished by applying an exfoliating scrub to my lips which worked wonders - I really need to find out what it was so I can buy some! She was very sweet and made sure everything was soothing. It was a great way to relax before my massage. The room was calm and comfortable. There were essential oils being diffused and the lights were low; there was enough light for them to see what they were doing, but not so much that I was bothered by the light. The room had two tables: one for the facial and one for the massage. I believe the massage table could have been heated - I saw a cord at the bottom - but the room was the perfect temperature so I didn't ask. When the facial was over, I switched to the other, wider massage bed and Raymond came in to give me my massage. He used some sort of lotion instead of oil, so I left feeling soft and clean instead of with oily skin. He did not hold back with the pressure - I have back and leg issues so I requested heavy pressure and he went for it. Again, he knew exactly what he was doing! He also used hot towels to remove the extra lotion and calm my body. I was definitely sore for a few days afterwards but I like to think that's a sign of a good massage. The entire salon was very nice and if I had been in town for longer I might have gone back for a pedicure in the lovely nail section. I'm not sure if they do hair as well but I know there were other options available including eyebrow treatments. Crystal and Raymond seem to know how to do most things when it comes to beauty and body treatments. I know they do waxing, including brazilians, which is hard to find in Jackson. The one negative was that I did pay a little more than I was planning to, but I felt like I got my money's worth. They didn't act like they were on a tight schedule - they didn't rush around, so even though I'm sure they kept an eye on the clock, it didn't feel like that to me, which goes a long way. I will happily return the next time I'm in Jackson!

I recently visited this massage parlor while traveling from Texas, and overall, the experience was…read moredisappointing. The massage itself was just okay--not terrible, but definitely not worth the $100 price tag for a standard 60-minute session. That said, the quality of the massage wasn't even the main issue--it was the lack of professionalism and customer respect. I called ahead at 9:45 AM to schedule my appointment and arrived early at 9:42 AM. When I checked in, I confirmed that I had called ahead, and the receptionist proceeded to collect my payment upfront, which I understand is standard practice. However, immediately after my payment was processed, another customer walked in. She stopped assisting me to ask if he had an appointment, and her demeanor made it feel like she questioned whether I had actually booked mine. It was an uncomfortable start to the visit. The most concerning part happened after the massage. When I completed my receipt, I added a $15 tip, bringing my total to $119 with the card fee included. As I was writing, the masseuse looked directly at my receipt and told me, "That's not enough money." I was taken aback, because a $15 tip on a $100 service is reasonable. When I declined to increase the tip, her tone became aggressive, and she called another staff member to the front. That person told me I "needed to leave more tip." Only after reviewing the receipt did they realize the tip was $15--not $5 as they had assumed. At that point, I was given a quick apology, saying, "Sorry, I need glasses." By then, the situation had already crossed the line. Being pressured for a higher tip, spoken to aggressively, and then dismissed with a casual apology was both unprofessional and disrespectful. As a paying customer, I expect to be treated with courtesy and not put in an uncomfortable position over gratuity. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling more stressed than relaxed. I cannot recommend this place based on how customers are treated.
