I usually go with a gel overlay and gel polish, but only because I wasn't aware there was a more healthy equally beautiful alternative resulted in strong, protected nails. Today, I was convinced to try dipped nails as I was soaking off the old overlay. After I understood the concept, I was sold. Dipped nails aren't drilled hashly and aren't thick and unnatural looking. I had fun chatting with the warm technician. We even recorded the process for my Instagram. The pricing is affordable. I soaked off, cut down and received a full set of dipped nails for $40+. I'm truly satisfied and have already recommended this nail salon to others.

I was immediately greeted upon arrival and it wasn't super busy when I got there but as I sat and got my nails done, more and more clients were rolling in and each one was immediately greeted which was nice. I opted for gel and wanted a design which they were very accommodating. The owner herself did my nails and they turned out gorgeous. Exactly what I wanted. I called the salon to ask about having them corrected, I was told that I should have said something the day before and was instructed to book another appointment to fix them. To be clear, I was willing to pay to have the nails redone and communicated that during the call. The conversation ended, and I accepted that this would simply be my last visit. Later that day, I received a direct message from the nail technician, Luna. While she is clearly very skilled at her craft and may have just had an off day, the follow-up message felt unnecessary and unprofessional--especially after I was then blocked on Instagram.
