I have found my go-to nail salon and tech!!! I had a Gel X appointment with Erica and she was phenomenal, so much fun to chat with and so very talented! The atmosphere was really friendly and cute, will definitely be making this my regular place for nail appointments.

2 days after a fill-in, the complete overlay came off of one of my nails. 3 days after that, the same thing happened with a different nail. So I'm talking about 2 overlays coming off in less than one week. I returned to the salon and requested that they fix it. The owner told me they only guarantee 2 days of quality for a fill-in. I paid $45 and gave a $10 tip. Despite this, the owner felt that after 2 days, she wasn't responsible for the overlays coming off. Only after I called her out on the ridiculousness of her policy did she agree to repair my nails -- too little, too late. If your initial inclination is be dismissive of a customer's concerns after your business has delivered horrible service, you clearly do not need my money. I will never go back there again, and I don't recommend this salon to anyone.

You can see that my cuticles are red and this is just one hand.

I visited this nail salon a couple weeks ago for the first time. When we walked in there was only 2 maybe 3 employees. There were hardly any customers either. One lady actually ended up walking out because she had waited probably 30 minutes and still wasn't seen. The nail techs were pleasant but didn't converse with me at all. I got dip powder nails and they looked decent overall, but I've definitely had better. My biggest criticism was that I was left with at least half of my cuticles bleeding and burning. They used the nail drill too much and too close to my cuticles. I've never had that happen before. I won't be visiting again.

Will not return to this salon. Waited 1 1/2 hour on a Saturday. Only had 3 employees working. Finally got to a chair for my pedicure. The stylist felt like she was trying to torture me. Just by removing my previous polish and filing my nails I thought she was going to take a toe nail off. Then when massaging my lower legs she was digging into my legs. TERRIBLE!!! Pedicure looks okkk...

Here is where they blocked me with my picture sent to them.

My nails were looking worse for wear, and I NEEDED to get them done! I've had nail PTSD from a local Texas salon, and was super hesitant to try somewhere else, nonetheless out of town. After reading carefully the reviews and consulting with my girlfriends, I chose Nancy's. Nancy's nail spa is everything a nail salon promises to be. Clean, beautiful, and a welcoming atmosphere. I am a shy person, but everyone, from staff to patrons were warm. This is a REAL salon. Getting your nails done is supposed to be a pampering experience. How often have you gone to a salon and the workers were cold and you felt like you were inconveniencing them? Not at Nancy's. I felt like a local and had to be honest, the best nail experience of my life. Michelle did a beautiful job on my nails. I had some nail splits on my thumbs, and she repaired them really nicely. She gave me advice on how to continue to grow/repair them from my botch job in Texas, and was very kind throughout it all. I kept saying, "I feel like a lady!" after she was done as she really made me look and feel great! I hope I get sent to Jackson again for work real soon... so I can return to Nancy's for a manicure!

I'm giving this salon 3 out of 5 stars because, while the salon itself is beautiful and my overall…read morepedicure experience was good, there were several issues with my visit that were disappointing. When I arrived for my acrylic set, I explained to Sophia that I specifically wanted clear acrylic with gel polish on top, followed by a traditional French tip. I prefer clear acrylic underneath because I normally have my fills done at another salon and did not want to be left with white or colored acrylic underneath when the polish is changed. Sophia repeatedly encouraged me to use a colored acrylic powder instead, and when I continued to request clear acrylic, her demeanor became noticeably irritated. As a paying customer, I don't feel that I should be made uncomfortable for politely requesting the service and product I prefer. The salon uses a service sheet where the items you are being charged for are marked. My fingernails were marked as a "Deep French," which carries a $15 charge. However, I requested and received a traditional French tip--a thin white line, which can clearly be seen in my photos. Interestingly, I received the same thin French tip on my toes, and the gentleman who performed my pedicure correctly charged it as a traditional French. At checkout, I brought this discrepancy to their attention and asked that the charge for my fingernails be corrected to traditional French as well. They refused to make the adjustment, despite the fact that both my fingers and toes had the same traditional, thin French tip. While the difference was only $5, it was the principle of being charged for a service I did not request or receive that bothered me. My pedicure itself went well, although I would not consider the leg portion much of a massage. It was primarily light rubbing up and down the legs along with steam, rather than an actual massage with much pressure or effort. Lastly, they completely forgot that I had also requested an eyebrow service, so I left without having that done. The salon is very attractive, clean, and nicely designed, and there were aspects of my visit that I enjoyed. Unfortunately, the customer service, the resistance to honoring my preferences, and especially the refusal to correct an inaccurate charge left a poor impression. I hope as the salon continues to grow, they place more emphasis on listening to customers and making sure clients are charged accurately for the services they actually receive.

I scheduled an appointment for the services I wanted and when I arrived they still asked me what…read moreservices I wanted. Then during my pedicure and again during the start of my manicure, they asked me to get builder gel. I got an express pedicure, dip powder and eyebrow wax. She left the wax on my face, didnt even attempt to take it off with a cotton ball like usual. She also filed my nails down all the way to the skin when I told her I didnt want them cut. No oil or lotion on my hands. She also lied saying they didnt have the same color I had on. Sarah did a wonderful job on my pedicure. She was very professional and kind.
