A Zero rating if I could've selected that! Do not spend your hard earned money on this place! I spoke with the owner, Andy to have these fixed and they charged my daughter another $15 with a total of $65. Then when he tried to fix them you could still see the white underneath with a solid color and he wouldn't offer a refund UNLESS she soaked them off completely!! That is not customer service at all! She would've had to sit there another 45 minutes to get all that off!! read more

The guy that did my nails didn't even care. I got powder dipped been getting it for awhile.. his method is trash. Plus it burned and he didn't even address when I told him that it burned. I ended up going to another nail salon and they where in utter shock. It turns out he left out crucial steps to the dip process. I believe he needs to go back to school to further his education or he just doesn't care. I suggest you find another establishment to get your nails done or you will be upset, angry and wondering if the steps he missed will be detrimental to your health. I went to them 2 times just passing through ms. And the first time Phil did a beautiful set . Cost me nearly 100 for feet and nails... after 2 weeks 2 of my nail popped completely off like a press on. So passing through again I decided to go back . And I got a refill and 2 repairs and a 4 dollar design on one nail. Cost me 60 for that and now it's 1 week later and another nail poped off . I think they should've used more acrylic on my nails . But over all the set was pretty just not happy they poping off . read more

I've been going here for years. They're always busy, but for a good reason. I won't let anyone else touch my nails. I got a gel manicure while I was on a tight schedule, and they were able to accommodate me very well! My favorite tech is Andy! Fast, quick, and always does a great job. I went and started with one guy who tried to get my existing polish off and he disappeared then I saw him giving someone else a pedi. I went to this salon because I was in the area. What a disappointment! I paid $50 for the powder drip when I pay $30 at my usual nail shop. And it was the worst nails I've had in a very long time. I was actually looking for another nail place Yelp suggested and could not find it so I ended up here. I figured it would be a long wait for a Saturday morning but with a full set and a pedicure I was in and out within an hour and I love the job they did. The color selection is woefully small. I also noticed the techs running around searching for colors so they arent keeping all the colors constantly available to customers. I also like that the atmosphere was jovial and relaxing. There is a list to sign in and they keep people in order very well so you dont feel like someone jumped ahead of you. Definitely would return. read more

Normally when I go I get an older mature woman. On Monday I was serviced by a younger female short hair cut . She hasn't mastered the art of customer service. I notice that when the owner is there customer service is totally different. He walked in and dropped off checks and left. No cuticle softener on my pedi. No soak. Just straight to cutting. The entire pedicure was trash compared to my usual visits. The young lady has her own technique and way of doing things. read more

I went into the nail shop to pass time before and appointment. I asked one of the workers about gel polish instead she used color powder with a gel top coat. I asked for coffin shaped nails and my nails looking nothing like coffin shape. They were crooked, and uneven. Within two days my nails started to break. I will never be returning to this nail shop again. Now I have to spend extra money going to another shop to get my nails redone. A total waste of money! read more

I visited this nail salon because the other salons were closing soon and they stay open until 8:00 pm. So, I decided to give them a chance. They act as if you're disrupting their day and bothering them by walking in. I received a pedicure and a full acrylic set here. The pedicure was decent, that is the distinction between 1 star and 2 Stars. However, the person who did my nails was lackluster and paying more attention to the other employees' card game than what he was doing. He hurried through my nails and they are uneven, and very thick. He also painted them very fast and it looks bad as well. I will NOT be returning. read more

Your experience at this salon depends on what tech to get. It's really hit or miss. Since I don't get consistent service, I'm on the hunt for a new nail salon. I went for a regular polish mani, the tech kept saying it's not gotta last, she seemed irritated that I didn't want the gel polish, but what she should have done was explained the benefits of gel polish vs. regular polish. If so, I may have changed my mind and got the gel polish. Or, I could have got it the next visit. Well she didn't, so my manicure was rushed. I paid, she snatched up my money. I really like this place. There is the usual chaos that seems to accompany most nail shops, but it is of the jovial type, and feels good humored. They are scrupulous about hygiene and sanitation. There is an adorable little dog who holds sway over one of the massage chairs. That is worth going there alone, if you like dogs at all. Of course everything depends on which technician you get, as usual, but having been a long time customer, there was only one who was less than excellent. I will keep going back. read more

Bad. Disappointed. After being a loyal customer for over 5 years, going almost every 4 weeks, I had one complaint. The day after my polish was done it at all flaked off. I went in and asked for assistance, and was told I would have to be charged full price, even though clearly there was something wrong with the polish or its application. They know me, know that I have never complained, tip VERY well, and have referred others. Despite this, I was told that that is their new rule and they can't bend it at all. I've only been in solar nails 3 times and 2 of them was just because I was trying to use up a certificate from my fiancé. My first experience was horrific, I've never walked out of anywhere so furious still having to pay for a shit job for a full set that I had taken off before I left that day because the technician just butchered them. The second time I came in a gentleman did my nails and the set he did besides them being filed uneven, it was decent. If only there was a way to do negative stars on here but for him there is one star. I just went home and smoothed them out myself. The only thing that struck a nerve is I had to pay $5.00 extra for half a centimeter longer nails and I don't generally have a problem with pricing because prior to moving to Mississippi I lived on the west coast and a full set of nails there cost between $50-$60. The third and last time they're still bad but not as bad as the first they are so uneven. I noticed one of my nails didn't have acrylic completely covering my nail bed and the technician insisted shed file it down to look even. Even to what? My natural nail? I couldn't even bring myself to leave a tip and that's hard to do for me because I work as a bartender and I have a soft spot for tipping because I know how people can get cheap with tips. I really tried to convince myself that maybe I've just come in on bad days for the nail techs but an entire staff doing below average work? Needless to say I'm never coming back here, ever. Bellagio nails in the diagonal shopping complex from here does great work, it's understaffed but worth the wait. read more
