I was not pleased with the results of a facelift and cheek lift. The results were very minimal and did not last. I complained and he offered to correct the cheek lift. His second procedural attempt did nothing to correct the first failed cheek lift. I was not aware he is not board certified. Shame on me. But Dr Blackledge shame on you for your obvious incompetence! You told me these procedures would last me 15 years. They didn't work and certainly didn't last at all. So shame on you. read more

Do not make the mistake and let this Dr cut on you. FL and NL in 2022 and within 5 months you could not tell a difference, except the horrid scares I have now. I specially asked would my scares be hidden as I wear my hair up a lot. He said oh yes, it's easy peazy. I did not realize he was not board certified either(was told by another doctor, he took the test 3 times and did not pass). I need a revision and my scares fixed the best they can. He did offer to fix his screw up but it would cost me. Why return to someone that was not honest in the first place and let him cut more on me. I had requested for a partial refund and what he said was I was trying to scam him. Just look at his reviews....I am not the only one he botched and screwed over. He is the scammer. He needs to put down the knife and never cut on anyone else again. He also should be refunding these women he botched their faces up. And if you are getting botox or filler....I don't believe you are getting what you paid for. It never worked for me and was a waste of money. I have been left with horrific scars on my eyelids, under my eyes, in front of my ears, behind my ears, & loose skin all over my face and neck. After several interviews with different facial surgeons, I decided to trust Adair Blackledge. I went through several pt results and photos of before and after before settling on my decision. My initial consult with Blackledge consisted of sending a few photos and a 20-minute phone call. I received an email with pre - and post instructions about two weeks before the surgery date. No preoperative testing was done even after I specifically asked. Upon arriving at his private facility the morning of my surgery, both me and my husband and I were brought to a waiting room, met Blackledge for the first time with maybe a 5 minute conversation. Was given 2 pills without any explanation and signed consents, bag with dressings was given to my spouse. When I was barely able to walk I was brought into what looked like a storage closet, not a true operating room, and was laid down on a table with all my clothes on which is not normal for a operating room environment. I specifically asked for an IV with versed, but it was never intended to even happen, but they did oblige. There's no way I wanted to be awake for these procedures. I remember waking up with the sound of the stapler engaging in my head. No other surgeon I interviewed would have ever used staples on incision lines but would rather use only sutures for better results and less scarring. I woke up as expected, swollen and sore. On the drive home the sutures in my upper eye lid came apart, called him immediately and he told me it wasn't a big issue but I could turn around and he would put another stitch, there was only maybe 3 sutures in my lids which is also not normal. The next morning, when I took off my bandages, I was shocked with the amount of staples that was on every incision. On a follow-up call, he said oh we will mail you a staple remover so you can take them out, like what the hell. My incisions are very noticeable to everyone, I have developed keloid tissue behind both ears, and when I sent Blackledge pictures, he offered to do steroid injections to help flatten the scars. The scars are still raised after 2 rounds of steroids and laser treatment. I will not let him cut on my again as I do NOT believe he actually performed an actual deep plane facelift on me, I believe he only cut skin and stapled back together without any actual muscle repair. The number of procedures i was supposed to have done should have taken 4 hours with all other plastic surgeons i interviewed. he only took an hour and a half. Results are not what they should be, I will have to find a board certified surgeon that is skilled in revisions. Would not recommend him by any means. He does not actually listen to patients and is not board certified but is more than willing to make you feel like your results are absolutely amazing regardless of what the patient says or feels. read more

Went in for dermaplane and Botox. Literally felt like I was in a drive thru. The girl doing the dermaplane was very rough do not recommend. Then saw Dr Blackledge he began to immediately start the Botox without listening to what my concern areas were. I wanted more than what I received but he wouldn't listen long enough for Me to tell him. Then went to the checkout desk and received an outrageous amount for a total with no explanation. I did some fillers with Dr Blackledge and he did a pretty good job. I heard he was not board certified so am a bit weary and concerned about doing more serious procedures. I cannot recommend Dr. Blackledge enough. Not only is he incredibly skilled at what he does, he is such a caring and honest doctor who truly wants his patients to look and feel their best. I flew in from Los Angeles by myself last week, and although I was nervous, I knew I was in good hands. He did my cheek and brow lift under local anesthesia/ twilight, and it was such a breeze. He checked up on me in person the day before and after, and even drove me back to my Air BNB after my surgery. So far I LOVE my results and I can't wait to see how I look when the swelling subsided. Surgery 11/1/23 . If I could go back in time and not go to Adair /Fred Blackledge I would do it in a heartbeat . Im only 46 with minimal issues should have been an easy tweak.. I had a cheek lift and deep plane neck lift or so I thought . I also had a failed lateral brow lift that left me with nothing but a bald spot . First of all he does not do deep plane . Second his scars and results are humiliating . I'm not only embarrassed in my results but beyond sorry that at least 3 people I sent to him also had horrible results and many many more woman I know personally . Please please do your research and then do more . requested a refund (with no response) as I now have to have everything done again but this time properly and It will be very expensive to do revision . I have seen many of his revisions and it only gets worse , so I refuse to go back . I had the most wonderful experience here yesterday. The facility is beautiful and serene, the staff plentiful, professional, courteous, and most helpful. Dr. Blackledge is clearly talented, and has an artist's eye. He immediately saw the issues that bother me and told me how we can address them. We started the process and I left happier already. I made a 6-hour round trip to see him because of his reputation, and it was well worth the trip. Can't say enough good about this practice. read more

He does amazing work and after visiting multiple other doctors in the area for injectibles, he was the first doctor to ever talk me out of spending more money and convinced me to do LESS than I was prepared to. Doctor Adair Blackledge is a wonderful surgeon. He is definitely not a "one size fits all" kind of guy. My impression is that he tailors small changes to create amazing results. The personality and ancestry of the patient is definitely a consideration when he alters the face. My ancestry is Nordic so my face should not look "generic" and it doesn't!
