I've had my eye on the NYX lip lingerie lip stain pencil for a while, and up until a couple of weeks ago it's only been available online. This Ulta is relatively new and it's located just across the street from Westfarms Mall. I like…read moreshopping at this Ulta because all areas of the store are really well stocked, especially currently during the holiday season. There are also plenty of special edition gift sets available. Ulta is a great shopping experience for three reasons. Majority of the items have testers, so you can touch, play and see how they work for you, before you purchase. The other reason is they sell high end products and drugstore items in the same store. Also, there are several brands and products that are exclusively sold at Ulta and no other brick and mortar location. At this location there's a wide variety of hair products and hair tools, skin care, fragrances, makeup as well as a trial sized section. The staff working at this Ulta location are very knowledgeable about the products and are ready to answer any questions. There are several services this Ulta location offers, I haven't utilized any of them, so I can't comment on the quality. They offer ear piercing. Hair services, such as haircuts, color and style. They also offer eyebrow services and makeup for a special event. I enjoy shopping at Ulta of West Hartford, and I'll continue shopping here in the future.

I cannot thank the lovely salespeople enough. They made me feel great from the second I walked in.

I visited this store a few weeks ago with two friends but this has been on my mind ever since…read more While the store is stunning, the customer service really ruined our experience. There were two employees working. Only one paid attention to us even though we all needed individual help. We found this employee to be dismissive and quite frankly, insulting. My friend asked for a highlighter and the employee said sarcastically "well what have you been seeing online that you like?" When she showed us a product she said someone on tik tok with lots of "older followers" likes this product - we are in our 30s. That is offensive. She then proceeded to pretty much ignore us and the other employee there paid us no attention. For an expensive store that requires assistance, this was extremely disappointing.

Both of them are incredibly friendly and nice. Prices are reasonable and they are flexible with appointment times for trials. The morning of the wedding, they were fun, upbeat and professional all at the same time - getting us ready with plenty of time to spare! (They traveled to us which was a huge help!) We all loved our hair and makeup - and it looked great the entire day and night (even though it was 90+ degrees outside!). They also did my hair and makeup for my bridal shower, and I loved the work they did then as well!! I'll certainly be back for haircuts with Nicole, or if I ever need any sort of up do/makeup. I would definitely recommend them for any future brides or anyone who needs beauty services for a special occasion!

First off, Tara was great at organizing and explaining the process and pricing via email and sending out my contract asap. I then scheduled my trial appointment at the salon, which went amazingly! My stylist was Marie, who was so sweet and listened to all of my wishes and concerns about my wedding day look. She seriously is a hair magician- my hair is not easy to work with (very fine, slippery, but a LOT of hair), and she totally crushed it. I feel so confident in having Marie style my hair and my bridesmaids' hair on my wedding day. I'll be sure to post updated photos after my wedding this fall!

She was amazing helping me find matches to make up I once liked but had problems with. She took her tome with me and tested all different things (with very high understanding of the Covid problems being extra careful with sanitation and disinfection) which I know must be making everyone's job in make up stores that much harder. She put me on to new brands I haven't thought before to try. And again just took her time and didn't seem annoyed by my many many questions! She's is very taleneted at what she does and is extremely knowledgeable about all the products!!! I hope management appreciates having a worker like her. Thank you Allison or Alissa haha sorry I stink with remembering names. I got a bunch of new products I wouldn't have thought to get and did a whole new face make up that night and wow everything was so right for my skin and the colors were so pigmented. She led me in the right direction with options! Can't wait to go back and hopefully have her again! Thanks again for the great experience and help!!!!

There were quite a few people waiting but Cindy did not rush and took special care to compare each nail after every step to make sure my hands looked the same. There is no gap between the color and my cuticle and the shape is perfect. She absolutely killed the coffin shape (punny). A full gel set is $45 but they charged me $5 for the coffin shape (??) but they are so amazing I don't even care.
