Three different times over the past year I have had negative experiences at this Walgreens. Twice when asking someone working on the floor to help me find an item and once from the pharmacist who was extremely rude. One sales associate said "we may have them in the back but I don't know" never offered to go look or suggest anything else. And a pharmacist should have some empathy. Nobody is going to the pharmacy because they want to. Save yourself from this negative atmosphere and go to the Walgreens in Vernon or Enfield where I have never had issues and they have actually been helpful. read more

Terrible customer service. It appears that a lot of the employees, including the pharmacist, seems to have forgotten that this is a healthcare environment, but behaved as if they do not care at all. Humble yourselves a bit, maybe consider hiring better employees. The skills, and attitude of this location is overall poor. You truly need more help than your current status, or it is advised that you seek employment elsewhere. There is no reason to come here with all the other choices available. They have some very rude people, they just assume you're an idiot. Not just that, they don't work with you to find a deal. If you don't say something, they will instantly charge you top dollar. Switching pharmacies was one of the best things I ever did. Other places work with you. Who knew? No longer helpful to customers! Belligerent Pharmacist on Saturday night, would not try to put medication charge thru to Good RX, was told " to do it yourself ", always had wonderful help there , times are changing I guess n so am I. Do not need this attitude. read more

Why is it that every time you call you get a different answer as to why the medication has not been filled. They have no idea what they are doing in this pharmacy. The head of the pharmacy at this Deming St location D. is very rude and not willing to help. read more

I have been using the Demming road location for a number of years now and the pharmacy has become awful. today took the cake though. I had surgery today and the hospital place order for a prescription for OxyContin for my pain management while I recover. My mom who is my ride went in the store to retrieve for me at 1:50 pm and was first told that it was out of stock. Then when they saw it was for 14 pills they said they could fill. I am in the car waiting at the time of this writing and it is now 2:45 and she is still in the store waiting. I think it is time for a new pharmacy manager that cares about the customer and not just doing a job. I am going to switch to CVS. Very bad management. read more

I have almost always had very good eexperiences here with this Pharmacy and Store. There were a few hiccups with my Prescriptions on varying occasions but the Pharmacy Manager immediately took control of the situation and found where the problem had occurred and he assured me that it would not happen again. He gave me his word that he would personally be the one to dispense my Medications to ascertain that there would not be any further issues until all other employees were properly instructed by him how to correctly read and fill my Prescriptions. I am very happy with the Exceptional Service that I receive from this Pharmacy. read more

Typical Walgreens in terms of size and selection. They always seem understaffed, at least when it comes to the registers at the front of the store, so don't be surprised if you have to wait in line to checkout. I find it's hit or miss when I need something specific, and pricing can be on the high side, unless you have a coupon from the paper or their flyer. This has become my default pharmacy since it's so close to my office and conveniently located on my drive home. It's a pretty standard Walgreens. They're always pretty well stocked, and there are usually multiple (competent, helpful) employees walking around the store if you can't find something or have a question. Most evenings after work, they only seem to have 1 register open, so there can be a bit of a wait. It isn't a big issue, but something to keep in mind if you're in a rush. They recently moved some things around inside the store. After 6-7 years of coming here, it's disorienting. But I'll soon enough redraw the store map in my mind to match the new reality. :) read more

It's a Walgreens. They have what you would expect the to have. A bit difficult to get in/ out of. The day I was there they must have been restocking or something. Boxes were everywhere and it did not look like the floor had been swept in weeks. Otherwise it was a Walgreens. read more

I have been a customer in the Pharmacy for 5 yrs. I called to about my prescriptions and have "NEVER" been disrespected in the manner I was today. The Pharmacist Ama gave me failed information when asked for her supervisor she was ignorant hung up on me when I called back the 2nd attend thought it was funny after I explained to her what accursed. She gave the phone back to Ama who lied about her position hung up for a 2 nd time. I then had to call back and talk to Joshua who at firs stats he was the Pharmacy Manager when I asked, who then had to piggy back and told me he was only the Shift Leader when asked for the Corperate Office information.. Childish!!! In had to have my scripts sent to another location to be filled. Customer service is getting so poor it's disgusting.... ex specially when the behavior is acceptable with in the company at the location. I can say they have two older Pharmacist who always give 110%. However Ama's behavior was irate and what she's capable of being a Pharmacist with behavior like she displayed this evening I'd rather not deal with. read more

Well, based on our latest experience we will NEVER use Walgreens for photo developing again! Dropped off three disposable cameras at Manchester Store # 6654 on Sunday 7/23. Got a promise date on the slip (which is the worst wording ever since right under it is the statement "The promise time is a tentative time. It is not guaranteed.". So it's not a promise. It's a wild guess. Well, tried on Friday 7/28 (the promise date) and no photos. We were advised to try again today. Just called and they still aren't in. Worse, the store has no idea what the status is. Just that they are "processing". This could take another day, a week, a month. The store has no clue. I get that 35mm is on it's way out due to digital. But disposable cameras continue to provide a need for developing them. Either get a system that tracks properly, puts reasonable estimates in the hands of customers or don't offer the service at all! read more
