Nothing. Even the inexperienced one leaning against the wall who was just watching. This is poor customer service....it really is. When I think of CVS, I think of prescriptions not anything else that's for sale in the store. I go to CVS to get a prescription. I should go in. I should get out with really no delays They should be ready to rock during busy time. Others behind the counter just watching or doing fairly nothing is unacceptable. Simsbury Pharmacy is a much better choice. Only come here if you absolutely have to

There's a mailbox next to the entrance if you have mail. I went after the pharmacy closed, and it was dead. Yet the cashier gave his hello as soon as I walked in, asked if I needed help.... I'm not sure there was anyone else working. But they have self check out so who needs extra humans? The store is fairly large, and pretty clean. It was a standard store though, with everything you need or want from a CVS. No comments on the pharmacy because I had no interactions with them.

Occasionally some one in front of me doesn't understand the process or there insurance but that is not the pharmacies fault. I always renew my precriptions using the Walgreens App. On occasion when I get a prescription that is not covered by insurance they are quick to find another way to discount the medication. 99% of my medications are covered with zero out of pocket for me. I inserted the items into the bag and the girl at the register asks "would you like to buy some tape to seal your bag?" Keep in mind, there is a packing tape gun sitting on the counter behind her, which I make reference to. And the Asst Manager (bald guy with glasses and a goat-tee) who is sitting at the counter says to "Oh, that's the store tape, we don't use it for customers.' I just bought a $4 shipping bag and you want me to spend another $6 on tape because you won't use a 4 inch piece of tape from the "store tape?" Great customer service. I visited yesterday and spent a good hour with Robert -the pharmacist who also runs the coin shop. He was super polite, a real gentleman, professional as could be, and very reasonable to deal with. This CVS is the first retailer in this shopping plaza. It is very well stocked. They even have fresh roses by the register. Most of the new releases are already on the shelves, no special displays. I was very surprised to find Pat McGrath Makeup at this CVS. Pat McGrath is a high end brand I typically find at Sephora. Additionally they also have some high end skincare here. I haven't used their pharmacy or their photo department. This is a nice CVS I would be sure to return to in the future.

We've been picking up our prescriptions here ever since we moved to Connecticut. Years ago, I would call their automated system for Rx renewals, then I switched to their automatic renewal plan where they handle the refills, and I get an e-mail when something is restocked. Easy Peasy. Because I live so close to Stop and Shop, and it seems we end up inside the store 3 times a week, its always super convenient for us to do business here. And their hours are pretty darned convenient too- open 8-8 during the week and 9-5 on the weekend.
