Continuing my search for a manicure product, I decided to see if this CVS of Avon would have any in stock. Unfortunately I didn't find it here. This CVS is the first retailer in this shopping plaza. It is very well stocked. They even have fresh roses by the register. Most of the new releases are already on the shelves, no special displays. I was very surprised to find Pat McGrath Makeup at this CVS. Pat McGrath is a high end brand I typically find at Sephora. Additionally they also have some high end skincare here. I haven't used their pharmacy or their photo department. This is a nice CVS I would be sure to return to in the future. read more

3.5 stars. This is another standard CVS, located in a busy plaza. The parking lot is big but does get packed and with quite a bit of traffic; however, I can always find a parking spot. Sign up for the CVS card to get coupons. The pharmacy is okay, they seem to communicate a tad bit better online regarding prescription updates versus the one in Canton. However, since the prescription I needed was out of stock, I never got any further updates; it was just stuck in limbo. I had to request a new prescription from my doctor. CVS was founded in Lowell, MA in 1963 and headquartered in Woonsocket, RI. There are approximately 9,967 locations in the US and PR. They sell prescriptions, beauty products, OTC drugs, film & photo services, greeting cards, snacks, and seasonal items. They also have Minute clinic which has physician assistants and family nurse practitioners on duty. This service is only at select CVS'. They can treat, diagnose, write prescriptions for common illnesses. They provide vaccinations for flu, pneumonia, etc. they can treat minor wounds, provide routine lab test, health screenings, and various other services. They didn't have this where I came from in Florida so that is nice to see. read more

I really like this CVS and have been going here for 25 years. There is little staff turnover and the pharmacy techs and pharmacists are very polite and accommodating. I love Laura the RPhT she is so knowledgeable about adjudicating claims and always has time to explain issues thoroughly. I thought she was actually the RPh Mgr! read more

Never have a problem at this CVS, staff are usually cheerful and helpful. The pharmacy closes at lunch time for an hour so just make sure to plan around that. They're very good about follow up and are efficient. The drive thru moves fairly quickly. They have a minute clinic and were available to give flu shots and Covid boosters this year. Plenty of parking, convenient location. They're always able to answer my questions. Took off 2 stars today due to pharmacy error where wrong prescriber was contacted for refills and I have been without medication for 7 days. No apology for mistake when pointed out to pharmacy. First negative experience, mistakes happen I understand, but a little apology goes a long way if pharmacy has made an error. read more

I love this CVS. The staff is always friendly and quick to offer assistance when needed. They also have many unique items that I haven't seen anywhere else. Admittedly, the prices can be higher for groceries than at other stores, but if you find yourself looking for a new pharmacy (the main reason I go in the first place), look no further! read more

No restroom for customers. If you can't even provide patrons a place to use the bathroom while they wait on their prescriptions you don't deserve my business. Lots of places to get my meds that at least offer a bathroom. read more

For CVS, this is a good one. Plenty of parking in the lot, and it's pretty well lit in the dark. I've always been lucky with the Minute Clinic, but if you're sick people, get your butt over there. I have seen them turn people away when it's too late in the day. The seasonal is always well stocked! I'm a big Peanuts fan and they always have something for Halloween or Christmas other stores don't have in stock. read more

The pharmacy team AND the storefront team here are A-Plus. Wonderful, courteous people. I have a newer CVS closer to my house which I have had good experiences with as well... however, I always seem to end up back at the Avon store :) Laura and all three 'head' pharmacists (not sure of the appropriate title, sorry!) are always extremely friendly, greeting me by name, and more than willing to help with questions/issues. read more

Ok, what happened here? A few weeks ago, at the Canton CVS, I bought a few small gift bags, bday cards, gift cards and candy for my niece's and nephews birthdays. I just needed 2 more, and hoped I could find the same things at this location, since I was just next door having brunch earlier. This store is so understocked and the shelves are bare...I thought maybe they were in the process of rearranging the store. There were barely any cards or gift bags to choose from. The size bags I needed were not there. None of the birthday cards I looked at were appropriate or remotely funny for the kids I was going to be giving them to. I checked around for more cards but no luck (Canton CVS has 2 rows of them) I wanted to match the candy and give the same things I gave the other kids but that wasn't happening either. Only one pack of twix on the shelf, only one king size kit Kat. No swedish fish. Only 1 Mr goodbar. They did have the gift cards so I at least got those, but will need to go to the other CVS for the rest. read more

I'm not that person who runs to Yelp to write a negative review after just one bad experience. This was my third visit to the Avon CVS. After being told it would be 15 minutes I was told it would be another 15 minutes and then another 30 minutes and finally they finished it all off with they don't have the prescription in stock. Folks, sick people go to pharmacies and they need meds, and a little compassion. I don't know why it's always as awful as it is there, but I will never have anything good to say about this pharmacy. read more

Horrible experience at Minute Clinic. Waited over 2 hours. Was sent a text at 7:16 saying we were up with 25 minutes only to have doctor come out at 7:35 and say sorry it's been a long day I have to go. Really? No customer service whatsoever. read more

WONDERFUL pharmacy staff and front desk staff. They're always incredibly helpful and nice.

Minute Clinic at this location is a joke. Reserved online apt., arrived in store on time, to see there were 2 ahead of me that had walked in. Why let you schedule online if walk ins take priority? Nurse practitioner is in a tiny room, with what appeared to be very sick people coming out. With the current flu outbreak it would have been nice to see her at least wipe down surfaces before the next patient. Bottom line, HH urgent care is right across the street. Clean, efficient, and seen at the scheduled apt. time. there instead. read more

I've only stopped in here for the Minute Clinic. That visit was fast and easy and script was filled at the pharmacy very quickly. The store was clean and there is ample parking in the plaza that it's located in. read more

Thoroughly efficient operation. Saved my place in line through the CVS app. Comprehensive exam. Seamless Rx processing (as this is my pharmacy as well). Jackie was the best. Will recommend to others and return when needed. read more

The staff in the store and pharmacy are always helpful and very polite. There usually isn't a long wait for your medications either.

Stay away from the minute Clinic!!! I took my son to the CVS Minute Clinic and she would not treat him because she said he might have pneumonia. She was wrong he had strep throat. Also they took my thirty dollar co pay for doing nothing. Hello she look in his throat and saw white spots!!! Please go to a real doctor and stay away from CVS in AVON CT. read more

Extremely positive experience. Took a quick trip to grab a few things during a lunch break at work. Within the 10 minutes I was in the store, the front check out line grew to about 10 people. They quickly called workers up to check out more customers ASAP. There were then 4 registers open and the line went very quickly. Very friendly and great customer service. read more
