Found out the owner is local and lives on the same street as my parents and went to school with my stepbrother! I showed up 5 minutes before they closed on a holiday weekend and they were amazing. I will be transferring all my prescriptions here. Also my very expensive medication was 20% cheaper than CVS. Spread the word! Local pharmacies are the way to go, down with the big name brands that couldn't care less about you. I can't say enough good things. Spend your $ here, they actually care about their customers

After one terrible experience at a medical supply store in West Hartford and one not so great one in Torrington, Medicare sent me here. Now, usually I would have been extremely upset... Medicare sent me here, and they cannot even take my insurance for a wheelchair, due to new insurance regulations. This gentleman was the kindest and most helpful person I have met in a long time! He knew all the information that no other medical supplier knew (or at least shared with me!). He printed up all the information that I needed for the medical suppliers that I needed to contact. He also made a suggestion for the exact one that I should go to! I wish there was more people like him in this world! Helpful, kind and super friendly!! I would recommend Better Health LLC to anyone who is looking for a medical supply store!! One suggestion for consumers, call first if you have Medicare. Under the new Obamacare, some laws have changed and they only can cover certain items. That's the downside, but i called Medicare and THEY sent me there! Honestly, a blessing in disguise. I got all the wonderful information on my insurance that even the Medicare agent didn't know! Thank you, again, for the wonderful service.

Placed 4 large orders as I was stocking up supplies to provide a day of pampering for chronic kidney disease patients and their caregivers at our dialysis treatment center my husband is a patient at for the holidays. Paid and even paid for expedited shipping on 2 of the orders. We were very excited for this miracle as I was beginning to think I wouldn't be able to get enough supplies to make it a reality. Well after 24 hours of not getting a tracking number for any of the orders I reached out to the company. They were extremely rude claim. Ingredients that they had no online store and that I was lying. Even after sending them screenshots of my confirmation of successful order with their online address and store name on it I was told I was a liar and told to leave them alone they had no online store. Even after I showed my bank statement I was called a liar and to leave them alone they had no online store. But immediately after sendin g my order documents AGAIN and being called a liar again I received a text from their online store that they said didn't exist saying I received a partial refund for my orders. And quickly changed their site to under construction. Ever received any items or the remainder of refund. They did all this because they didn't want to honor my large orders at the prices they had advertised and allowed me to purchase. So now I have had to postpone the day of pampering I wanted to give to these people who are already going through so much in their illness a day of health and beauty for Christmas.. Even with them knowing what the items were for they didn't care and continued to refuse me service or proper treatment!!!! I wish I didn't have to even put 1 star! m

At the time of my visit, late October, they didn't have too much in Hallmark specific products, but did have a lot of cards and were starting to put Thanksgiving out. There were registers in the middle of the store, but everyone was lined up at the pharmacy so maybe I happened to come in during a lunch break?
