I been here a few times hoping it would get better but FAIL ! Staff here sucks ! They have a bundle of staff but when you ask for help they direct you to someone else or tell you they'll be with you in a little but it never happens or it takes forever and a day ! The girls at the doors stand there and greet you but won't move away to help you. I saw a lady asking advice about perfume and the staff said "I don't know, I don't use that one." Then she wants away from the lady. That lady was so pissed she walked out. My friend wanted a color match and she wait a good 20 minutes - they used a machine on her and wrote it down for her and it was a complete off color, they should walk with her and actually apply it on her. I mean, we're half white and Hispanic and they gave her the second darkest color... Wtf?! read more

I love this store, it has every makeup brand there is and you can try out different samples to bring home to try. Unfortunately, this location SUCKS! There is about 8-10 people working and I would have to say none of them were helpful when you ask them questions. I had my first and definitely not my last experience with Sephora. I have been a faithful "MAC" customer for years until someone turned me to Sephora. My first experience was on 10/16 at the Los Cerritos Sephora with a 90 min consultation with an artist names Rubi. The experience was great from start to finish. She was very patient and informative. I had just came back from a vacation in Hawaii and was super tanned. Using the special tools, Rubi was able to find a perfect match for my newly tanned skin. Rubi helped me with everything from skin care to finishing touches. The whole experience went over the 90 mins, which I liked that she did whatever it took to make me look fabulous. I can only speak for my experience with Rubi, but with my encounter with her alone, she converted me to Sephora and their products! She provided exceptional customer service and for that I give them 5/5 stars! Thank you Rubi. read more

The people that work here need to practice better customer service. They're just not very helpful here at this Sephora. There has only been a couple of times when I thought I was happy with how I was treated here. So now I don't really come here as often anymore. Usually I always walk in knowing what I want AVOIDING the workers at all cost because they always have an attitude and don't really help BUT yesterday I had the best experience yet! Lizette I believe her name was? An associate there. She was very friendly, helpful, and definitely shed some much need light towards my skin issues. I stopped by this store today. I must say, I wasn't impressed. The testers were dirty, there was hardly any merchandise on the shelfs. I went for a few specific items, but coincidently, they were out of stock on all the items I wanted (so they say) which is totally understandable. So, as i'm browsing through the store, I found 3 of the items scattered around...this store is messy. no store can out beat the sephora store in NYC, on 5th ave and 48th st, now that's my fave! read more

I am disappointed with the lack of service. I was not greeted coming into the store nor was I offered assistance. When inquiring about other stores caring the product I was looking for management encouraged me to call other stores. When I asked for a sample I was asked to wait until someone could assist me. It's best to come here during the week in the daytime. Otherwise it can get very crowded. I also wish they would re stock their items more often. Sometimes they're out of something I wanted to purchase for a couple of weeks. Other than that I like this location because the employees are always very friendly. I don't know where some of these negative reviews are coming from because every time I go I'm offered help at least once without me having to ask and when I check out at the register the employees are always very nice and sociable. The trick is to come to sephora in the mornings on the weekdays and you most likely will receive help from a beauty advisor. I was helped by Vivi and she helped me find the perfect shade of concealer. She was very kind and attentive and I walked out more educated about makeup! read more

This Sephora like almost all sephoras can be a hit or miss. The workers are either very friendly or a total bitch. I used to sense a vibe that some employees thought I was stealing. They would just stare and watch my every move. I didn't think I looked suspicious either, so it was very uncomfortable. I just wish Sephora employees weren't so stuck up, and do their jobs like help customers out with make up. Some employees on the other hand, are very helpful. I didn't get the name of a girl helping me, but she made sure I got the items I needed and helped me pick out the right color for my brows. read more

Really like this location. Everyone was helpful, unlike the last sephora store I went to. This girl helped me pick certain things my boyfriend new nothing about. Lol. I wish I knew her name. I came in hoping to catch Jonathan from LP. In regarding my lost or stolen wallet...and before that I did speak to the manager Victoria over the phone and told her what had happen and she had a horrible attitude. So when I came in she was like, I don't understand liiike did you lose it or did he have it put away for you? And I'm like, like I said I came in hoping to catch him or get a hold of him.....I shouldn't have to get more in depth with her. Since it wasn't found under their "safe" then clearly he's next to be useful in helping me. Great customer service (I prefer the gay customer service reps though, quite honestly). You can always ask for free samples if you're hesitant to buy a product. Located right in Cerritos mall (near Gymboree and the Disney Store). Always has what I need and more (which I can't buy or I'd go broke!). The cool Sephora scanner/screen in the back allows you to scan any item and get the 411 on it, including ingredients, description, and reviews. It's pretty useful. Also, definitely be a Sephora card member, since it's free to sign up and you get points for every purchase, which you can redeem for small samples at 100 point increments and up. read more

Typical Sephora store with many make-up and beauty products on display. Some are available for sample. The staff members here are pretty nice. However, sometimes they're hidden amongst the many black aisles in Sephora that it almost becomes a treasure hunt. Nonetheless, Sephora's are great just because you can sample the product before you purchase it. Also they give free fragrance samples! read more

Beauty essential headquarters. I like using this store as a reference point when I compare prices for beauty products. Usually, the regulars are wonderfully nice and helpful staff, but truth be told, I haven't been here in a while. Well, to my surprise, there seem to be a lot if new faces. The girl at the check out was not very pleasant and did not offer me a bonus point gift ( even though I had over a thousand points!). Secondly, to top it off,I was looking for specific item they did not carry and when it was not available, they did not offer to check another store!! Talk about bad customer service!! I am a pretty understanding person, but the store wasn't even busy!! Like I said, new staff with not so nice demeanor is what reflects my rating and not the store itself. I'd read the previous reviews and to be honest, they almost kept me away from this VERY convenient location. Something like 10 minutes from my house, and THAT'S convenient. But I gave it a try...and I was pleasantly surprised! The store is a little more disheveled than the Sephora at Downtown Disney, but not by much. Not as many sales people patrolling, either, but when I stood next to one while she helped another customer, she turned to me as soon as she was finished and asked if she could help me with something. Which it turned out, she could, because I had looked all along the fragrances for my favorite (Sugar, by Fresh) and didn't see is. She very pleasantly told me that it had it's own "Gondola" and pointed it out so I could easily locate it. Once at the GONDOLA (yes, I've learned a new use for the word and I'm going to wear it out!) I chose my selection and was in the process of opening the boxes to make sure the sprayer thingie wasn't tweaked (hey, this is good info here, I've caught this before!) and another sales person walked up to ask if I was "OK." I told her what I was doing and asked if there were any Fresh gift combos on sale...there weren't. After I was done I took my selection to the counter, having seen the last sales girl who'd helped me I stood slightly behind the customer she was ringing up. I forgot that they do their check out counter different and have one common line so in fact I was committing an ultimate retail sin here....but didn't notice till the lady finished her transaction. I started up to the counter, then saw my mistake and told the clerk I'd just get in line the normal way....but she nicely waved me back and said it wasn't a big deal. She then very pleasantly rang me up and I mentioned that I was a "Beauty Insider" and had missed my birthday gift (always a highlight of the year for me but what can I say...having a birthday around Thanksgiving is always a busy time!) so she GAVE ME MY BIRTHDAY GIFT! Even though technically you can only get it two weeks before and after your actual birthday. Nice lady!! It happened to be more "Fresh" product so I was really stoked about that. All in all a great experience for me and I shall be returning. Hopefully I won't be disappointed. Give it another try if you've had a previous bad experience, maybe the sales people have changed now. :) read more

I shop at sephora all the time and I've never had a problem returning anything. I'm a Rouge customer and I've gotten such good customer service before. I was trying to return an item without a receipt and the girl was not very nice right off the bat. She said I had to do an even exchange. Opened my product and even spilled it all over the place. I asked to speak to a manager and she agreed to return my items without questions. The cashier was giving me all these store policies that I've never heard of before. She wasn't very nice. I was disappointed in how I was treated in the store. Guess I'll stick to online shopping. read more

Although this is the closest Sephora, I dread coming here. Customer Service sucks, items are never in stock, and they never answer their phone calls. The next nearest Sephora is Lakewood mall inside JC Penny, customer service their is on point but too bad Sephora inside JC Penny don't carry Christian Dior make-up. read more

Normally I do not like Sephora. I highly suggest you just only buy like eyeliners, liquid eyeliners, and lipsticks etc. BUT I HIGHLY DON'T RECOMMEND FOR YOu TO BUY AN FOUNDATIONS HERE! These foundations here did not even match my skin tone what a lady recommended me! Went in today and it was surprisingly not crowded (probably due to the rain). Maya was the associate that helped me out and she is absolutely fabulous. I told her my likes and dislikes about wearing makeup and she helped me work around them! She also introduced me to my new favorite holographic highlighter and lipsticks. Just to start off, I definitely do not look like an avid sephora shopper. I've been here a couple times just because it's near by and I've always received some costumer service. I went it about two weeks ago (during the holiday season) and there was lady at the front greeting everyone and offering shopping baskets. This review of amazement is only for ONE of the associates that work here! The one thing you can't help but do at this store, is spend a whole lot of money on a bunch of products that will hopefully make you look pretty, because the product looks pretty. But what CAN be helped is the service that could possibly point you in the right direction for something that WORKS for you and is what you WANT AND NEED. I refuse to come into this Sephora if Sandra is not working. She is a god-sent beauty master of all and any products I need and have ever asked about. I was trying to find the perfect bare minerals color (because I like the light feel and blend this product gives) but could NEVER find the right color. It was because other associates tried several colors on me, and OF COURSE the lighting in the store makes almost every color on your skin look good. But once you step out in that sunlight, people notice your fake cake color. I told this to Sandra, and she already knew that the tan collection was best for me. From having several associates try a million wrong colors on me, to her just knowing and telling me what actually works for me... I'm ecstatic that I've found her. Sandra is different. Unlike other associates who are miss know-it-alls and don't listen to you, Sandra listens. She points me to products that most people love, and offers suggestions that may be better or benefit me in what I need in terms of skin health and overall happy feeling. But she listens. She doesn't just say, "hey, get this product." She HELPS me in my journey! In addition to helping me find a foundation color, she helped me find the PERFECT primer, and perfect hair-curling tool. She is honest about every product when it comes to what you are looking for and need, without putting down any products at all. I can't explain the phenomenon I feel of being comfortable when I talk to her about beauty products. She just has that effect. Go to her for all of your beauty needs! This place is one of the worst Sephoras because of the people who work here. Sephora used to be my go to place when I was only learning to do makeup but now I don't go here anymore. BECAUSE OF THE STAFF. The manager assigned here on a Monday around 1p was rude and ignored us when me and my mom tried to ONLY ask a question about whether or not they still carried a brand of makeup. She literally avoided to make eye contact with me and only talked when I stopped her and asked the question. Manager with her typical high pitched voiced responded with "did you sign up?" Apparently you cannot be "served" unless it's your turn cos now they want you to sign up. I understand that they get busy hence the new system they have but a manager who doesn't prioritize customer service plus no common sense shouldn't even be allowed to serve customers. And to be a manager! We asked a question and we just wanted to have someone answer. This place has now become a training ground for self absorbed influencer wannabes who know nothing about customer service and very little of beauty. Go to ULTA ladies and gents. read more

He was very friendly & knowledgeable & explained the entire process to me & answered any questions I had. It is a struggle to get someone to help you. The color match IQ machine is way off. But luckily I found someone to assist me.

This is one of my favorite sephoras. Each time I go the staff are really nice and attentive. The store is clean and orderly too.
