I stopped by Seoul Bunsik on a rainy afternoon at 5pm for early dinner. The establishment looked fairly spartan - a few tables for counter service dine-in and optimized for take out. I ordered the jjampong / spicy seafood noodle soup ($16.99). The spiciness here was a tangy spice reminiscent of budae jigae - utilizing kimichi instead of purely red pepper flakes and gochujaru. The stock itself had heavy amounts of seafood and garlic flavor. Disappointingly, the amount of seafood itself (shrimp, mussels, etc). seemed low, and the vegetables did not have much wok hei / 鍋氣. Otherwise, the establishment seemed authentically Korean. Each table had a box for metal utensils with the viewing glass on top. The nicest staff ever -- so generous, so helpful, so accommodating so please give them a shot. The staff will help you with everything, which you'll need because everything is contradictory to the directions around the shop. Add spice packet before water? Don't do that. Dry trash only in the cans? No - you should dump your water there. We went looking for Kimbap but they didn't have it and the ramen selection in terms of soup ramen (as opposed to drained water) was very limited. But overall the food we had was prepared with love (homemade kimchi) and we had a great experience. read more

Fun place - kimbap is definitely the highlight. A lot of boba milk tea options as well. The kimbap was generously filled and came with soy sauce and kimchi. The ramen is a bit pricy but a good way to try different flavors before buying a pack. The induction burners are automatically timed based on the color dot that was on the ramen shelf. Mine was number 28 in yellow, so I ordered 28 at the counter and pressed the yellow button plus start when I had my bowl. The timer then comes on and you wait! The free toppings are scallions, jalapeños, and yellow pickled radish. When the timer goes off, you can just grab your bowl (it's not hot due to the induction!). There was a dumpling / mandu special when I went for $13.99. I really hope they add more to their menu like tteokbokki, soondae, etc to offer more food options. read more

The sweetest owner ever!!! Was so kind with food that was warming to the soul. My friend and I shared the tteokbokki and the jjamppong. There were 5 mussels and so much quantity of shrimp and noodles in the jjamppong and was spicy, but not too spicy. The tteokbokki had a good portion of ramen noodles, fishcakes, and rice cakes. We weren't able to finish our food and took almost half of our servings home. Will definitely be back to try the jjajjangmyeon! read more

There're instant noodle machines that you can make yourself more than 70 different flavored noodles. They also do milk tea and fruit flavored tea. Kimbap is the best here. There are beef, chicken, salmon and crab stick kimbap. read more

We tried this place for the first time for lunch on a Saturday. Upon entering, we were greeted and told we could sit any open table we wanted. Smaller place, clean and well kept. Looks like about 8-10 smaller tables for 2-4 people that could be reconfigured depending on size of party etc. There were two people sitting at one other table when we got there. Along one wall was a self serve type ramen setup. Service was good, more of an order at the counter type of place, which is fine. Started with complementary kimchi and daikon, then ordered some dumplings which were great, fried to perfection. We ordered beef bulgogi and Jjajangmyeon (black bean sauce noodles) for our mains and shared both. The food was excellent. Not an ambiance type place, but overall glad we tried this place. Used to have to drive all the way over to Ayer to get good Korean food. Now have authentic Korean food much closer to us, which is great. read more

My husband and I visited today for lunch and had the best time. We met the wonderful owner and his daughter. The food was amazing!!! We had the Jjajangmyeon, fried rice, and bulgogi mandu. Everything was made to order so super fresh and tasty. We plan to come again soon and telling all our friends. We also had the milk tea which we loved.
