Been here maybe 6 times. Consistently great food & attentive service. Clean and like other reviewers mentioned- great ventilation. My Korean mother is also always satisfied. It's our GoTo place over any K-BBQ restaurant in Annandale. Zero complaints! read more

This was sadly my first ever less than desirable experience at KBBQ restaurant. When I originally picked this location I saw the interior of it and got excited because esthetics-wise they got it down - restaurant is cozy yet modern. However, when we walked in we weren't greeted, we were met with "do you have a reservation" while mind you, restaurant had 2 or 3 tables with people sitting down. Husband answered with "I didn't think we needed one." When we sat down he told me right away that he already doesn't like it here. Staff seemed tense, but that didn't take away from politeness of our sever, so the stars for this review are mainly for him. This is not all you can eat BBQ, so when we looked at pricing we were hoping that after we had our food we'd grow taller and lose couple of pounds because that pricing is significantly above the average for any KBBQ in all DMV area that is AYCE. When we got our food it was satisfactory on flavor but for the price point the portions were very small. (Pictures for reference). As I've said food wasn't bad, we were not starving after. Reading though some of the reviews for this place I couldn't help myself but notice that some of them were written by a homeboy, since average consumer would not know the intimacy of Korean food like this reviewer did. My recommendation is to be more realistic about the food prices in the area as well as portioning. read more

This place is slower than molasses. Walked in just before 6, only 1 other table, and been waiting 30 minutes to get any food. Then, other tables waited 5-10 minutes. Food was pretty flavorless, missing lettuce, jalapenos and garlic you'd normally get at a Korean BBQ place. Would not recommend. read more

I came here with friends thinking that it was the best Korean BBQ option in the Springfield area, and it probably was, just not for us. I say that because even though the quality of their meat was very good the price you pay for the amount your served ultimately isn't worth it. The customer service also wasn't great, and considering that there was almost no one in the restaurant we should have gotten much better service than what we did. I would recommend this place if you're in the area and have a craving for Korean BBQ but I wouldn't put it over some of the more well known places in and around the area. And I definitely wouldn't go with a large group. read more

Hubby and I ended up here after the plans of another place fell apart. We were greeted and seated immediately. The waiter was nice and got us our drinks while we went over the menu. We realized though this was a Korean bbq it was not all you can eat. We decided to get the pork option a which was meant for 3-4 people and was 80 something dollars that way it would feel like we had an all you can eat. Wrong the portions did not match the price. If I had actually been four people getting this every one would have been upset cause it would have been like everyone paying for a full meal but getting and child's portion or and appetizer. Especially since this price didn't include steamed egg or lettuce wraps since I'm not big on rice. So for us it kinda wasn't worth going. read more

The food was good. The staff was extremely friendly. I enjoyed my dining experience and recommend this place to people in the area. Check it out. I had Bi Bim Bap, Mandoo and miso soup. I enjoyed the sode dishes - cabbage kimchi, fish cakes, bean sprouts, cucumber kimchi and radish. I left full and ready for sleep. It was 7 pm. (Not sure if it posted) read more

Keep coming back here and always enjoy the food here. My buddy and I overdid it last time with the pre fixe bbq with seafood pancake and cold noodles. Came back and went ordered a few select meats and seafood pancake, which worked out better. Enjoyed the soju or makkoli with the meal, which made our stomachs a lot happier. read more

We had dinner here,. The staff wear masks. They take your temperature when you arrive. Tables are far enough apart that you feel comfortable. The resturant is clean. Folks are friendly and service is great. Food was delicious. The seafood scallion pancake was the best I ever had anywhere. The LA Galbi was delicious. The Bulgogi had an amazing flavor. We also ordered the Bimbibop to go. Will have to wait until tomorrow to b try it. We will definitely be back to try the BBQ. read more

Visited this place for solo lunch on a Wednesday and the place wasn't crowded at all. Service was great and food was amazing. Everything came out hot and fresh so no complaints from me. Spicy port is always the first thing I try at a Korean BBQ place. I'll be coming back maybe not week and the week after and the week after. I'll definitely be a returning customer. read more

Not enough people working and the food is quite expensive. If you want Korean bbq go to a ayce place.

The food was very tasty! Nice flavors! However, two things cost it a star. The hot tea was too hot to hold the cup much less drink it until partway into the meal. And, every time the waiter entered the dining room, his eyes were on his mission and I couldn't get his attention. Experienced waiters scan the room for anything attention. read more

Maybe it's Uber eats or maybe it's the restaurant, I think it's both. Ordered my food at 5:45. One soup. Online says it would be ready At 6:05. Got there at 6:05. Told the server that I had a Uber eats pick up he told me to wait it's almost ready. Another customer came in and ordered food to go. I Ended up waiting till 6:20 the gentleman told me to wait Outside and he would bring my food out in five minutes. I saw a couple who ordered food after I got there leaving with their food. Another two people came in and left. I proceed in to ask what the status was; was told to wait a few more minutes. Food finally came out about 5 minutes later around 6:35. Altogether the whole ordeal took almost an hour. Would have been more understanding and less harsh on the review of the time told was a bit more realistic/honest. They need to work on their first in first our process. Food was ok; wouldn't wait an hour for that again. Soup lacked the flavor many other places had. I've had the bimbipbap before and that's good. Do better on service! read more

Super cute spot! My husband and I wanted to try something new and this place did not disappoint. The server was very nice and the food was great! We tried one of the beef combo options AND Kimchi fried rice. The experience was great, despite COVID restrictions. I'm hoping that this place survives post-COVID because I already plan on adding it to my frequently visited restaurants. read more

Very delish!!! Definitely you should try this place! We are super satisfied! Clean, fresh, welcoming, great service!

We've been getting takeout from Seoul since they opened. Food is always delicious. Spicy Pork, Bulgogi, and Bosam are our go to dishes. It's been several months since we've gotten food from them but seems like prices have increased. 27ish plus tip for bulgogi and almost 5 for a side of rice. Anyway, staff is friendly although they no longer take takeout orders over the phone and food is good. Many other BBQ places to get spicy pork and bulgogi though. Will likely not be back for a while unless we're in the mood for Bosam read more

THE BEST KOREAN BBQ FOR MILES and MILES! We love this place. Kalbi, Pork Belly, and Sirloin meats are delicious. Kimchi pancake and yaki mandoo dumplings are amazing. Today we tried "corn cheese," and that was a wonderfully delicious surprise. This restaurant is our "go to" for Korean BBQ and whenever our Korean family members come to town. It's also great not to have to travel to Annandale for authentic Korean dining. read more

Delicious, but a bit pricey. I'm coming from SoCal where delicious KBBQ is in abundance, so that may be why I'm used to more affordable prices, but overall great food. Also the servers were helpful. read more

I decided to give this place a try to "spice" up my quarantine lunch -- oh boy was it a spicy success! I ordered the spicy ramen with veggies and the tender chicken with white rice. Everything was fresh, flavorful and made with care. I even received a handwritten note of thanks on my chicken container which really made my day. Thank you so much for the care you put into making and packaging my food order! Me and my family plan to make a bigger order soon to support this establishment and look forward to eating there in person one day! read more

First time having kbbq in virginia, only ever had it in LA and San Diego and gotta say that this is pretty darn good. Such high quality meats and bonchon. Also this is not AYCE but ordering a la carte is pretty filling. We ordered brisket and spicy pork bulgolgi which was plenty of food for my bf and I. read more

1st time customer, and will definitely be back! Ordered take out (Bulgogi, Fried Chicken Tenders, Spicy Pork, Mandu) and all the dishes were outstanding. Everything was packaged neatly, and they even left little notes on our styrofoam containers. Very thoughtful. Prices are fair and reasonable. Food is delicious. Looking forward to trying different dishes on the menu. read more

I've been dining here regularly for a few years now. I can say without of shadow of a doubt that the flavor and meat quality here have been consistently good! The prices here are on the higher side, but I think it's justified by the quality of food you get. This place is by far one of the best KBBQ spots in the greater area. read more

We've been to the most popular places around the Northern DMV and THIS PLACE is the MOST slept on. The gentleman who owns this place should be famous. The choices are spectacular and worth EVERY penny. In every special event Seoul is my go-to place. I recommend it to everyone I like, and if you don't like this place you clearly have bland taste buds and should go to some cheap bland place. Service is 10/10, and food is to die for! read more

Yummy! I came by today to see what Seoul BBQ had to offer. I wanted to have a healthy veggies based dish so got bibimbap. I tasted each vegetable- the seasoned ones were delightfully marinaded, not overpowering or oily but tasteful. I was very happy with the flavors of each of the side veg. Their miso soup is very delicious too- savory, with a very good quality base. Their server was also very kind, professional and personable. How awesome is that? I'm happy with this this place. read more

Seoul BBQ - L1. Bibimbap with tofu - Korean Near Me - Springfield, Virginia

This was our first time ordering from this restaurant. Our family loves traditional sit down Korean BBQ, so our expectations might have been a little too high for delivery. We ordered the Kalbi beef short ribs, Spicy Pork, Fried Chicken Tenders in sauce and an order of Bibimbap. In general, we would have liked to have more sides. The short ribs and the pork were tasty and the portions were generous. The chicken tenders were just ok...probably would not order them again, but we certainly ate them all. We were, however, very disappointed with the bibimbap (which is my daughter's absolute favorite). The veggies were good, but it came with just a dusting of crumbled beef. We felt a little gypped with that one. In sum, we will be giving them another try and hope we can chalk this up to the chef just having a bad day. Sorry no pics - we were way too hungry for the photo-op. read more

The meat quality is good. Was very disappointed when we got our order. We decided not to get the combo for 3-4 persons since the pictures shown looked like a lot of meat. We got the Ala carte and was extremely disappointed in the portion. Wasn't even half of the picture from the combo menu. Spoke to the waiters and even if you ordered the combo, the pictures shown for the combo, wouldn't be what you would get and it would be less. Menu is deceiving. Definitely would not be coming back. Honey Pig is alot better! I'd rather go to other KBQ. If you eat by yourself... Maybe it's ok. read more

Finally a kbbq joint closer to home in Springfield. We stumbled upon this little gem on a late night one hour before the restaurant is closed for dine-in. I usually don't like to try new places until I do some research and read some reviews, but we needed to find somewhere to eat quick and Annandale/Centreville is too far away. I was really sleeping on this place because I really loved everything about it!! The ambience is nice and clean, very stylish and has a modern feel to it. I love how bright it is and how the music wasn't blasting compared to most kbbq's I've been to. The staff was sooo friendly and nice even when we stayed 40 min after closing time. All the employees wore masks and really made sure they took all necessary precautions when dropping things off to our table. We were the only table but hope service remains the same when it gets busy. We ordered one of the the beef/pork combo for 3 which the portion was generous. We almost didn't finish but couldn't waste any of the goodness. I usually am not even crazy about kbbq because those AYCE items are usually not quality meats that you always end up eating too much of which makes me never want to go back again. Here, you can sort of portion-control and pace yourself. And even order a la carte items. 10/10 would go back and recommend. Would love to see this place thrive in the near future! read more
