Señor Chile - Great service, authentic food and many choices of Margaritas! - Mexican Near Me - Edgewater, Maryland

Had a good experience with DoorDash so decided to get take out. Ordered 4 tacos, was told it would be 5-10 minutes. Arrived 10 minutes later and waited at the restaurant for 40 minutes before it was ready, and only after I asked 2x about it. read more

Great food and service! We ordered to go and the food was great. We had fajitas, queso, guacamole, and a bunch of tacos (shrimp, carnitas, Al pastor). Everything was delicious. The adults and kids were very happy. We will definitely order again. read more

The food was very good. The food gave all of us food poisoning though. The restaurant was very decorated and pretty.

I have to be honest that I was quite skeptical of this place because of their location but after my first visit here, I can see what everyone is raving about. My coworkers and I ordered a takeout order on a Saturday afternoon and everything we got, from the tacos and enchiladas to the nachos and fajitas, everything was delicious. We have been back twice since then and I have not been disappointed. This place is high on my list for places to get incredible food. read more

Being a displaced Californian in Maryland, I've been craving good Mexican for 5 years now. Hubby and I decided to give this place a try shortly after it opened. This is the closest to home Mexican food we have found. Its absolutely amazing. Everything we have tried has exceeded our expectations. Definitely a go to favorite / comfort food spot for us now. read more

Top tier! Quick service too! I ordered the Baja tacos which comes with 3 fish tacos topped with slaw and mango salsa. And my friend ordered the birria tacos. I said it once but I'll say it again, top tier. And the salsa smacks! Go get you some tacos! read more

A delight! I felt immediately like I'd made a great choice for date night as soon as we came in - the bright friendly colors, the cozy peek into the kitchen/bar area giving it a very "family restaurant" feel. I had a strawberry margarita and the chef's special seafood mix, which was PHENOMENAL, I was so impressed. A substantial serving of salmon, shrimp, and scallops, complete with vegetables and rice, and I've never had a sauce quite like it. It was the perfect graceful combination of the mild creamy white sauce common in other seafood dishes with the classic Mexican spice profile. I ate about half the plate before I remembered there were tortillas to go with it, and then assembled myself several delicious fish tacos too and very happily ate them six hours later at home. First time in my life I have felt so completely certain that the chef was personally and entirely responsible for my amazing food experience, it was awesome. read more

If you want to enjoy a good taste of Mexican food, this is the perfect restaurant, I recommend it.

The best authentic Mexican food in the Londontowne community. Family friendly and the staff are very friendly.

This place is awesome! Authentic Mexican food and great service. Best restaurant I've eaten at in Edgewater in a long time.

Food and drinks are elite!!! Great service as well. I definitely recommend this place.

This is an easy review. Food is really good. We have a lot of choices, and most are mediocre... These folks are far better than most. Just don't try and order online... best to call directly.. haven't tried something like DoorDash, but dealing directly is always better fir them. read more

The food and drinks were great, the kids loved the atmosphere. The server was friendly and fast. I can not rate it highly enough

Really REALLY good! I got the Choripollo, my husband got the sombrero salad, and my son got a chicken quesadilla all were DELICIOUS! The servers were fantastic/very friendly. I'm so excited to have a good Mexican restaurant in the neighborhood! We will definitely be back! read more

My wife and I used Door Dash 3 more times since the last update, still amazing quality food!! We got chicken and steak fajitas, simply amazing 'n read more

Umm, yeah. The previous reviews nailed it. My wife and I stopped in for lunch and the place was full. Granted, it's small (very small) but that's beside the point. The place was full because the food is delicious and very reasonably priced. Enchiladas, tacos, draft beer, chips, and queso added up to less than $30 and we still had enough left over to take home. I had the Mexican tacos (carne asada and chicken) and my wife had chicken enchiladas. Both were delicious and served quickly, but not so quickly that we couldn't enjoy the queso first. So how good was it? Our lunch was two days ago and we're going back for dinner tonight. So glad this place opened within walking distance of our home. read more

I drive past this restaurant to go to work. Wanted to find somewhere different to eat in Edgewater somI checked Yelp and saw it's highly rated. AND WELL DESERVED. read more

Super strong drinks. The food was okay for a chain like Mexican restaurant. Our waiter was rather pushy and rushed us through everything which made the experience subpar. read more

Very poor service. Dishes/containers were dirty with obvious food residue. Staff had some unfair and inappropriate bias with their guests. Some people received great service while others did not. This place has so much potential. My party and I were so incredibly disappointed with our entire experience. read more

amazing food, best mexican food in edgewater hands down! friendly staff & really nice cozy spot. absolutely love it here.

Stopped by for a late breakfast/early lunch, first time in. Absolutely fantastic!!! Great food, wonderful service and AWESOME margaritas! Both my wife and I loved it! Will definitely be back! read more

Food always good, but employees not wearing masks correctly, and the elderly woman, did not have one on the last two times I was there.

Señor's Chile is quite possibly the best authentic Mexican food you can find in the Annapolis-Edgewater area! They are super courteous and the wait time has never been more than 15 minutes for me. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants authentic delicious street tacos! read more

We've waited 20 years for a restaurant like this to open in Edgewater (and I am not making this up)! Seriously, the kinds of South-of-the-border restaurants we've had around here are either the inauthentic mega-chains or small, family-run places that are, at best, meh. But this place is totally different. What attracted me initially was the bold signage and the kind-of-snarky advertising along Mayo Road, like "Actual Mexican food." The web site is also very polished and attractive. But the actual Mexican food is actually phenomenal. My daughters love their chicken quesadilla and rancho fajitas. My wife, the enchiladas senor. I've had the senor's chile and senor's fajitas. We all agree that this is the best Mexican food we've ever had (North of the border). I'm not a professional foodie, but the seasoning is really bold and authentic, with big portions of steaming hot food. Basically, any entree with the word "senor" in it is a must-try. We usually eat our food without much talking, except maybe, "are you gonna finish that?" On top of that, their crew is top-notch. They're helpful and friendly, and keep their place spic-and-span. You will not be disappointed by Senor's Chile. read more

This place was awesome! We were able to take our pup and sit outside! The service was great and the food was outstanding! We had the Senor Chile (to die for) and the Quesadilla Loca with shrimp (really good)! Highly recommend! read more

We have been waiting for a great Mexican place to open up in our neighborhood for a while and we are so happy it finally opened! Food and service is amazing! We have been there on a weekly basis since opening, sometimes more than once. Can't say enough good things about this place. We have tried 8 different things on the menu and have not been disappointed yet. Jalapeño cheese dip is a favorite app! read more

We decided to try Senor's Chile this past Sunday evening for dinner , hoping that it wouldn't be as crowded as it was on Friday or Saturday. We got there around 6:30 and the place was packed. We decided we would wait for a table, and as we stood at the bar to order a drink, we noticed a group sitting there was paying and getting ready to leave. We happily grabbed their empty stools and sat down. The ladies behind the bar were very friendly and attentive and asked if we would like something to drink as they placed a bowl of fresh salsa and basket of corn chips on the bar for us. The salsa was delicious and the chips were light and crisp. We ordered 2 Mexican Mojitos and a Margarita. The mojitos are made and served in individual cocktail shakers with lids and a glass of ice and fresh lime. They were THE BEST MOJITOS EVER!!! They were FULL of fresh mint and lime and no skimping on the alcohol. So refreshing...just awesome. The margarita was equally as good. We ordered the fresh guacamole and jalapeno dip to start with. The guacamole was off the chart.... huge portion with lots of fresh cilantro and lime....definitely the best we have ever eaten at a restaurant. The dip was hot and creamy with just a hint of heat....perfection. For dinner we ordered the combo Mexican tacos, combination fajitas, and a sombrero salad. Everything was outstanding...the chicken was so moist and flavorful and the beef was delicious with a light sear on it and grill taste. The portions were well above what you would normally expect, especially the fajitas. We finished with fried ice cream and a slice of cake. This was hands down THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD we have ever eaten. Everything was so fresh and flavorful, the portions were huge, and the presentation was beautiful. We will be back again and again and again....... read more
