He insisted I paid in cash since cash is king which should have been my first red flag. However I decided to proceed and trust him since he came to me to grab the iPad. He spent 1 min looking at it and came back saying it was bent and needed to go to his shop to repair properly. I agreed. He brought it back and told me the home button no longer works and I needed to wait to try and use the iPad. It hadn't worked since he touched it. I paid him $80 in cash and $80 on a card for an iPad worth about $20 since I was ok with paying it as long as my iPad worked again. Well it never has and never will. I took it to Apple they said it's not reparable any longer and they can recycle it for me. I felt comfortable because he was a hard working guy with children just like myself so I believed him in making it right. I've given him several opportunities to do so but he's now gone ghost. It is what it is.... Good job getting me and my family for $160 for nothing.

I use simple mobile as my provider. so I called the store to find out that they were a authorized retailer, and yes they are. My problem was that I needed my browser restored because at this point all my phone was good for was text and calls. When I arrived at the store I was greeted by a nice gentleman named Gary. I told him what my problem was and handed him my phone . I told him my phone number and he got right to work on it. Less than five minutes later my phone was smart again. So I asked Gary how much I owed him for his service and he said there's no charge! Wow... That kind of service service deserves a good yelp review...

My kitchen appliances are all old, so I thought why not. When my gas range broke they denied the claim. Most absurdly, they said that I had not performed "preventative maintenance". Since the major item that was broken was an electronic control unit, a black box, hard to figure exactly what they mean. Anyhow Asurion are scum. Avoid them and certainly don't purchase any appliance plan from them.
