And there are a few things that I really like about Seniore: - It is very very nice that it opens until 3 a.m.. - The delivery speed is also reasonably fast (30-60 mins), compared to other places in the area. However, I believe a lower price and a better taste of the food should be expected. - A small pizza costs about 14 dollars after tax, while the average price of all pizza places in this area is around 8-9. Although the pizza always has lots of stuffs, the taste has consistently been so-so: doughy crust, flavorless cheese, etc.. I would have been ok if it only costs 8 dollars to have such a pizza. 14 simply seems ridiculous. - I tried once their chicken wings. They were over-salty. Not sure whether it is an accident or not. Therefore, unless it is a pouring day when i dont want to get out my apartment to get food, I probably wont go to Seniore's. But it still remains my top choice for delivered food for something like a football game. read more

My fave to go pizza place after 6 pm. They always serve their lunch special, any time of day or night (if you ask) which is awesome because it's cheap and includes 2 large slices with one topping each + a soda! I always go for one garlic and one pepperoni. Blondie's pizza is too thin for my liking and Fat Slice is... well too thick and not well prepared. Seniore's is by no means gourmet, but it's quick, cheap, tastes good, and is open late. They also serve other snacks/items besides pizza if you want some variety. The guys who work there are all nice and friendly. Note that there isn't much seating. You can sit at the high stools if you want, but you're better off picking your food up and sitting somewhere on campus or taking it home. Cheese is not fresh, reheated the very next day in my oven and it was even worse - the cheese becoming liquified with a putrid texture. Sauce is ok. Below average food, expensive prices, and very long wait times for delivery. Ordered my food at 12:47 AM and an hour later, I called with them saying my food was still being prepared. Disclaimer: I only get this place for delivery, and not much for in-store eating. This place is actually quite good. It doesn't rest in the upper echelons of gourmet, quality pizza like places like Giola's or Cheeseboard/Sliver. But for what it is, it gets the job done very, very well. I ordered a half-cheese/half-pepperoni Family-sized pizza over the phone, set to be picked up at midnight so that my hungry friends road tripping up from SoCal could feast their faces before we began our road trip to Utah. I got to Seniore's Pizza to pick up the pizza around a little past midnight. They made it a Extra-Large-sized pizza (one smaller than Family). Given my friends were arriving soon I paid for it (X-Large price) no fuss because I knew they'd be hungry. Seniore's must be omniscient. The X-Large pizza was EXACTLY the size we needed without leftovers, and it was pretty good (though it could have been the starving midnight stomachs feeling). It could have used more sauce and less grease, but it was hella tasty. It fed the 5 of us around 3 or 4 slices each. Overall, I would recommend Seniore's (especially late at night when you want group food because Artichokes/La Burrita/Taco Bell/Smoke's aren't as cost-effective). It may be better to order online (I think another review recommends Yelp24?) but given my experience, they'll probably make exactly what you need. read more

The salad was a little expensive for the size, $10 is a little steep, I could make 3 or 4 of those with that money; nevertheless, it was quality. +1 -- Delivery was early both times, one in the day and one late at night, I always appreciate that! I share other poster's concerns about the rudeness of a driver. I asked the man I ordered from if I could pay with card. He said drivers come with machines. The driver shows up no machine. I say fine, I'll pay cash. He begins to walk away without giving change (effectively taking a 35% tip). I said excuse me, I'd like my change please. He come back annoyed saying that he doesn't have change. He spend the rest of the time with me complaining about how he drove all the way over to me and how they were going to charge me and only me an extra $5 per order every time ordered moving forward. I don't understand why he showed up without the means to transact a sale, but he seemed intent on making it my problem and being rude about it. read more

"FLY" I want to grade this restaurant "0" if possible. I ordered at least twice and it was enough to make me feel determined to never use here again. I strongly recommend you to read my review before ordering. The first order was through EAT24 at 1am. They were supposed to arrive 1 hour after ordered, and I was just waiting. 2:30am. They didn't come yet. 3am. not yet. I called them for checking the situation, and they just answered, "Ah, okay. We'll send a guy to deliver." No apology at All. However, after that, I discovered a fly was in the diet coke After drinking IT and tasting IT. In the drink, it was already separated with its legs and body, and very nicely, thanks to them, on my tongue I could feel what the legs and body really shape like. It took me time to get mentally recovered and physically suppress nausea and vomiting. I got really upset about this and called them. But the restaurant actually took my calling once but quickly finished it after hearing my voice and didn't take my calling later. Of course, No Apology at all. Unfortunately, Seniore's does not care about customer service. I've given this place a shot a few times and each time I've been utterly disappointed. Pizza has either failed to be delivered or been delivered cold 3-4 hours past the estimated delivery time. When I've called to get an ETA or get an update, Patty has refused to help me and instead hangs up. Opens late, tastes pretty good. Berkeley students get a chance for deliveries up to 2AM, which is awesome. A little overpriced, but this isn't a franchise, more family owned style. Not a bad place, I saw this place earlier, and made a point of trying it later. So, here I am, on my lunch period. The place is small, they mostly do take out and delivery. The service was great, I got the lunch special. This is a college type pizza, the slices are large and super greasy. If I was 30 years younger, I would give this place 9 stars, but now that I am older, the body does not like the grease as much. This is a solid place and I will be back again, it seems to be ran by a family, and they are very polite and nice. I guess this place has become the place to go for a late night snack. It looks like a standard pizza place but it was bit confusing at first because there were no menus on the walls. I went to the register with my friend and then we saw the paper menus. The place seemed a bit pricy at first looking at the menu but at that hour, what options do you really have? We ordered a small seniores special, which is basically a combo pizza. The order took awhile but there were many orders before us so that was expected. The actual size of the pizza was actually pretty decent for a small pizza. It's not like a personal pizza but was enough for the two of us so it's really not that pricey. The overall taste of the pizza was pretty good though. The ingredients tasted nice and the dough was good too. Overall, I would say that the place is a pretty good late night option. This place isn't too bad if you're picking up pizza. It comes out quick enough, usually in 20 minutes or so depending on the lines. The pizza consistently tastes great and I can see why the lines here get so long on weekend nights with all the drunkies. I absolutely love the Hawaiian pizza here as well as the chicken and dried tomatoes. I haven't tried ordering pizza for delivery from here but according to the other yelpers, looks like you'll have a pretty long wait ahead of you if you go this route. So id give this place 3 stars cause of their awesome and fresh tasting pizza but minus 2 stars for long wait times every now and again. I've seen the Seniore's Pizza Box and take out menu various places around Berkeley, but never really thought to give them a try (I'm kinda stuck on my regular spot), that was until I had a serious craving for pizza one night, and just so happened to be in the area. I walked in about 9pm on a Friday night and it was pretty quiet in this place, there were only about 3 people eating while the staff worked diligently on togo/pick up orders. As I moved toward the register to order my pizza, the counter girl who had previously been on a call; immediately hung up to assist me (A+ Customer Service). I ordered the special for the day(One XL 2 Topping Pizza For $15 +Tax) with half pepperoni and half fresh tomatoes, and while I waited for it to cook, I went and found a seat. While I waited for my pizza, my eyes and other senses were busy at work absorbing the overall environment. The restaurant was nice and warm and smelled of various fresh ingredients cooking in the oven. The decor was very eye catching, they had murals on the wall, flashing lights around the windows, and bright yellow and red paint covering their kitchen area. As I sat and waited for my pizza to finish, the Christmas music on the speaker system instantly put me in a jolly mood, and the next thing I knew; my order was being called. I ran over to grab the box and instantly felt the heat radiate through the cardboard (Definitely Fresh), and was excited to see what was inside. I opened the box and a piping hot, beautifully crafted, hand made made pizza was staring directly at me in the face. I could smell the combination of fresh ingredients infusing together before my eyes and could see the orange and white cheese mixture bubbling;just like it had never left the oven. I would love to write more about this place, but I'm starting to drool now, and need to get another slice before I go into withdrawls. read more

Got delivery late at night and it was half an hour earlier than the estimated time (ordered at 10:32, arrived at 11:26, but project time was ~11:50) so that was great! (Except I didn't realize it came early and didn't get the delivered food until an hour later; my bad on my part) Pizza was delicious and loved the garlic bread! The mozzarella cheese sticks were just mediocre though. I'm not sure if it was because of the way it was packaged (made it slightly soggy) or because of how long it took (made the cheese sticks colder and not at all melty). Also, the cheese sticks were really salty, so that was slightly weird. Overall, loved it, but would suggest getting the mozzarella cheese sticks only if dining in. However I'm willing to give the cheese sticks another chance and try out delivery again. read more

I really love this place. I live nearby, but the delivery is ON POINT HERE. Unless its Friday or Saturday expect 30-45 minutes MAX. The pizza is made with love and I've always loved the fried oreos. Im vegetarian, but I consistently order chicken for the roommates and guests, they love it! My only pet-peeve is that delivery/pick up on weekends can be a nightmare. I have had one order take upwards of 90 minutes but it was crazy busy everywhere. Suggest ordering through Postmates if its a weekend. Also, $3 for a mexican coke is absurd, skip out on drinks here.
