You can now get hash everyday (back in Rosy's time- it was a twice a week treat). Service is overall a bit slow- but cooking space is limited and they were busy- so it was expected. The restaurant was great and a step up from the also delicious but more classic corner dining experiences in the area. We plan to return and look forward to the Inn's continual evolution and warm hospitality as we explore Michigan's incredible Upper Peninsula.

I would call ahead and make reservations because they do get very busy and the restaurant isn't very big. Also, you cannot book a table/walk-in after 8:30 because they close at 10. Walking up, the house is beautiful and has a front wrap around porch facing Lake Manistique. Porch dining is available in warmer months, or you can wait outside when it's busy and enjoy the porch swing with beautiful views. You can also stay at the Inn, which I will look into next trip! First night we came, I ordered the Cajun Whitefish. Very delicious! I also tried the stuffed whitefish my friend ordered and I liked it more. I also tried the French onion soup, and we got the Brie appetizer. Second night we came back, I tried the Michigan Cherry Pork chops and my friend tried the Coconut Jumbo Shrimp. We started off with the garlic cheese bread topped with fresh made bruschetta. I also ordered the clam chowder as the soup dujour. Everything was fantastic! The pace of meal was great, views are beautiful and the staff and owners are all friendly. We enjoyed our trip up the UP and will definitely be back on our next visit.
