2 over hard, wheat toast and hash browns

Big A$$ Pancake Indeed! Partner and I were touring 's Upper Peninsula for our 40th anniversary. Drove to Getmfask to hit the Jolly Inn (a bar & grill) for breakfast--great choice! Great service, delicious food, perfect up north atmosphere. Partner ordered the blueberry "Big Ass Pancake". Boy was that aptly named!! About 14" in diameter and delicious. No, he couldn't finish it; yes, he wished he could. I ordered 2 eggs hash browns and toast with black tea. More than I could finish, but cooked just right. Would I come here again? You betcha! Highly recommend for a yummy Yooper breakfast!

So glad our friends brought us here while we were exploring the area. We had a nice hike at the Seney nature preserve and then stopped at Jolly Inn for lunch. It's a big dive bar with a large dining room area and the bar off to the side room. The menu includes all the best dive bar favorites: fried food, more fried food, and then some more fried food! Just kidding, there's a lot of fried food but they also have burgers, sandwiches, fried fish, dinner combos, even breakfast in the morning! Nate ordered a burger and I got a chicken tenders basket. I loved all the different sauce options - I went with the jalapeno ranch at the recommendation of our server who was a very sweet and lovely lady. I tried a bite of the burger and it was excellent - juicy and tender, not overcooked and seasoned well. I also loved the fries! The portion of the chicken tenders basket was enough to bring some home for later which was great. The MSU football game was on and we had a great time eating lunch and having a couple drinks before heading back to our cabin. I'd love to eat here again sometime - the whitefish dinner sounds awesome!

We were very hungry as we driving away from Munising and on our way back downstate when we stumbled upon this place. Every we ordered was great! I really enjoyed the fried pickles appetizer. The 1/2lb burgers were huge and good and the chips tasted homemade. However, we also ordered a side of curly fries and the portion was huge! I would absolutely stop here again.

This is one of the few restaurants in germfask. I thought it was more of a family restaurant, I didn't know it was a bar. We were excited that they had beer. Their food hit the spot. The service was slow, but I understand that because literally every restaurant in America is short staffed. It was cute inside and mostly old people.

Stopped in for lunch as we were traveling across the UP. They recommended the pasty as it was freshly made and just came out of the oven. My coworker had the Philly cheesesteak sandwich. Both were amazing. Who would have thought in the middle of nowhere. Very good food and neat little bar. The waitress was very nice as well.

We were close by at the Seaney NWR and wanted a nice place for lunch. We didn't have to look far in this nearby town of Germfask. Jolly's is a small family run tavern and restaurant serving very good food. They had a special on Pasties, which are home made but, we opted for something else. I ordered the Jolly Burger, a 1/2 lb. burger with swiss cheese and mushrooms with a side of fries. It was delicious. My wife ordered fish and chips with slaw. Also delicious. the service was very good and quick. We will come back someday hopefully on a friday as they have a fish special every Friday.

Stopped in for a drink and appetizer. The bartender was friendly and attentive. Our appetizer came out fast and and good!

Small local place with great burgers and cold beverages. Walking distance to Northland Outfitters which is another fabulous place!

Wholly crap..... while this place doesn't look like much from the other side, the food is great: HOME COOKING. And the portions are huge!
