Stopped here during a family vacation. It was a Wednesday night in September around 9:30 PM so not a whole lot was open. The seven of us wandered in here an there was literally one person (Josh) working the whole restaurant. He was bar tender, waiter, bus boy and cook. He did a fantastic job of taking care of us even though he had two or three other tables going at the same time. He was efficient, polite, attentive and super friendly and welcoming (a couple of other nearby restaurants declined serving us because it was late and they didn't feel like dealing with our large party). He didn't have any problem with it and was great. The food is basically bar food so I'm not comparing it to other more fine dining type places but I will say that as far as bar food goes they do an awesome job with it. I tried their "Best of Both Worlds" which is a burger and smoked brisket sandwich combined. It's their signature sandwich I guess. It was awesome. Other people had burgers, chicken wraps, chili and stuff like that. Everyone really enjoyed their meal. The bottom line: this is a great little small-town bar to get a couple beers and some good old American bar food in with a local twist. Our combination server, cook and bartender (Josh) was great.

Nice server. Good food. Clean. Better prices than the bar down the street. Cute place. Open when they say they are going to be.

Super great service, staff was masked and very attentive. Clean, tables spaced. I'd suggest any app, but especially the pineapple!!

Best sandwiches in town... and not that pricey. Try the Marley Burger and the onion rings.

Ok but not great. Stick to burgers and fries you will be fine. Don't drink out of a glass beer tastes terrible in it.

Waitstaff was nice although not overly attentive. Only short order cook and it shows in the food. Not worth the money

Toby's Dog House is the kind of place that makes you wonder why you ever wasted time eating hot…read moredogs anywhere else. Their glizzys? Absolute Hall of Fame level. The onion rings? So crispy they could double as Olympic gymnastic rings (if you could stop eating them long enough to try). The vibes are right up my alley.. there's a shaggy shepherd "watch dog" who clearly runs the place from his post on the deck. Don't be fooled, he's not just there for security... he's making sure you don't drop any fries. The person who took our order was hilarious! 10/10 would let her roast me while handing over my food again. The Lions game was playing next door and we were able to watch while still eating outside. If you're looking for good food, good laughs, and a side of doggy cuteness, this is the spot.

I love hotdogs and like to think of myself as an expert. I will drive hundreds of miles just to try one. In this instance, I drove 200 miles round trip, just to try Toby's Windy City ( Chicago dog ). Also ordered was a chili dog for my friend and tour guide and a plain, no bun dog for my friends dog, which there was no charge for! My friend and his dog gobbled theirs right down! Me, I was trying to get my phone to work so I could take pictures. No luck with that . Anyway, I would call my Chicago dog exceptional with just a few things needing to be done. 1. Toast that bun! It keeps it from getting soggy. Mine totally fell apart with the first bite. 2. It was on a regular bun not poppy seed. Maybe that's why it was called a Windy City dog 3. The dog could have been a bit hotter for me, I like mine well done. With those few things, I would still have to say that Toby's Dog House, is in for another visit from me!
