Made an appointment for a regular manicure last week. Booked my appointment online which states the price of a manicure is $15, was charged $18 when I was checking out but didn't say anything as I was fine with that amount. The salon is clean and quiet however I feel as though the manicurist rushed through my nails and did not attempt to clean up the side of my nails thoroughly. I did not realize until I got home that the second layer of nail polish didn't even cover the full nail. Not even a week went by and they are fully chipped and breaking. Full hand pictures show how rough my skin around the nails still were the day I got home and how the nail polish is not covering the nails. Will probably not be back. Didn't feel like wasting my time going back to the salon for a fix I'll go somewhere else. read more

I loved this nail salon. There is a no phone policy so the establishment is very quiet and serene with soft piano music playing in the background. I got a regular nail polish manicure and pedicure. I'm on vacation and so far, my mani and pedi have lasted me a week! Never has a regular polish mani and pedi lasted me this long. I paid an extra $3 for the shiny nail polish and an additional $3 for a collagen treatment on my feet. JULIE is the go to for a great time. She took her time and was very friendly! Went here because I was getting a wax next door. Figured it could all be done in the same place. Had to wait a while, and ended up going over and getting a full wax done before they called me that they were ready 30 minutes after my appointment. Went in and they did an ok job. Some of my nails were longer than others, which I didn't notice until after leaving. The man at the Front desk was very friendly and apologetic about the wait, but I can't say I was impressed. Fast forward to just over a week later and 2 of my nails have already broke, and more are lifting. Can't say that I felt like I got my $40 worth. Won't be going back. I have been going to Sen Nails for a while now and I can honestly say it's the very best nail salon I have ever gone to. I am very particular when it comes to nail services and they are superior to all the rest. The salon is bright and "very" clean, peaceful and relaxing. They have a huge color selection and always stay on top of the newest colors and trends. They have a great staff of professionals and I have never been dissappointed with anyone who has done my nails (at this point I have probably had everyone there at one time or another). I finally found a nail salon in the area where I can get a great pedicure. Jason dd a great job. I ended up going for it all and getting the aromatherapy pedicure mostly because I love paraffin and that is how you get paraffin. I am thinking next time I won't spend so much but I definitely enjoyed it today. The salon is super clean and the there are plenty of pedicure spa chairs and the chairs are not so close to each other that you feel like you are crowded in. I also loved how the nail tech did make idol chit chat and I was able to simply relax. I also love where they have the drying machines-- being able to sit on a comfy sofa while my toes dried was a nice treat. All of the employees park in the spots closest to the salon leaving it harder for actual clients to find a parking spot close to the salon. Because it's located in an area with other businesses, parking can be hard to find during certain times. I always have such a relaxing time when I visit, my pedicures are always perfect and the foot/calf massages by the employees will literally make you want to fall asleep. Found this place randomly on Yelp when I was in need of a mani-pedi while running errands on Route 1. For about the same price as my usual Mini Luxe, I felt like the salon and service were better. My manicure (not gel) still looked good 8 days later. The only thing I didn't care for was that when I took off my polish, my nails had a very yellow tint to them and I needed to thoroughly buff it out. I'd understand if the nail polish I had chosen was a dark color, but it was the same pale pink OPI color I get everywhere else so it seemed a little weird. Suggestion for the owners: music would help customers feel more comfortable. I was the only one in their and it was dead silent (there is such a thing as too much silence!). read more

It wasn't terrible, but definitely not great, either. They have good hours, open late. Good selection of colors. I would go back to try a pedicure there, as my friend has gotten a pedicure there before and said that it was good. Received the worst manicure of my life. I went to first time and bought my mom a gift card because I had a good experience, went back a second time to get dip done and the technician didn't manicure my nails, didn't remove skin that was peeling on my cuticle, and was extremely rough pulling my fingers. I love Sen nails! The team are so polite and kind always remembering my name. I feel really welcome. I was given great advice to try the SNS powder dip method and I have not looked back. They are lighter then Shelac and less damaging to the my nails and look wonderful. This is a lovely family business. The pedicures are wonderful. You can also pay by card machine...a real plus. I'm honestly surprised to see so many good reviews of this place. I had an awful first (and last) experience here. Staff was extremely unfriendly and unwelcoming. I don't remember the name of the man who did my gel, French manicure but I had my nails done less than a week ago and they are already cracking, discolored, chipped and peeling. I work in an office so there's not much I do that would justify my nails looking like this. To pay nearly $40 for a GEL MANICURE and have to pay to get them redone elsewhere less than a week later is unacceptable. I would never return to this salon. read more

Johnny P made sure I did not have ANY dead skin left on my feet and does a wonderful paint job. Him and Jamie have also done fills and full sets for me, and my acrylics always look GORGEOUS. I have been to Sen nails 1 other time and it was a great experience . Although they did my nails and feet at the same time so I was not really able to relax while getting my pedicure. So I tried them again yesterday and I had them done separately . During my pedicure I felt something and was like wow that hurt . I just figured she was doing whatever a little harder than normal . I then realized when I got home and I couldn't walk on my big toe that the pain I felt was she cut the long side beside my toenail . I wouldn't have been so upsetting if she had said something . But she never did she just said put your foot back in the water and not sure how she didn't notice that it was actually bleeding. Of course I was getting a reddish color polish so I didn't really notice until I got home and took my shoe off and noticed all the dried blood. So I do not think I will be going back there .
