They also said they would give us one tech for both of us. Which I dislike to begin with. These prices are outrageous but we were willing to try the experience. Never again! I've been coming to this salon regularly for over a year, and I wanted to leave an honest review based on my long-term experience. On my first visit, I had a tech named Kal (I believe that was his name), and he was excellent--funny, welcoming, and he did an amazing job on my builder gel (hard gel) set on my natural nails. The price was higher than I expected, but I didn't mind because the quality felt worth it, and I planned to keep booking with him. Well, whenever I did book with Kal, he was either not there or busy, so I would get someone else so I stopped choosing who to book with because I just knew I wouldn't get him. A few techs (maybe 2-3) there are good, but unfortunately, most are not. The overall the quality has been inconsistent, which makes it difficult at the current price point. Prices have increased as well. A full set of builder gel without tips is now around $80, refills are about $70, so either way, I end up paying 100$ each visit. Some visits include cuticle care and lotion, while others don't, and almost every visit I end up with at least one nail breaking within a few days. My nails never seem to match in length, and they use a product they have to like paint on that always ends up looking terrible. I've had some techs use a different technique when applying this XEN (?) product-- like it was literally just applied to my nails, tech didn't even use the drill bits after so I left with bulky, lumpy nails. The salon itself is beautiful and offers things like mimosas, cookies, and pastries, (I've never personally been offered anything but I've seen other customers sipping while getting their nails done) -- but it feels like you're paying more for the atmosphere than for consistent service. This isn't meant to be negative--just honest. I've given this salon many chances because I really wanted it to work, but at this point, the service no longer feels aligned with the cost, and I'll be going elsewhere read more

I wanted to remove my gel x nails and left very disappointed. You're suppose to file them down, let it sit in acetone and then file the rest off. I experienced that on one hand, but then the nail tech decided to use a nail to remove the rest. If I wanted to pull my nail bed off, I would've picked them off on my own. The nail tech could've at least cut my nails, add a top coat, or add cuticle oil, but I left looking like the photos attached to this review. My nails are already thin and that's why I hoped to get them remove properly. Unfortunately that did not happen. Will not be back. read more

I had a great pedicure from Lisa. She was absolutely AMAZING and really took the time with my feet. The place is really nice. They have food and drinks at the front which was a really nice touch for customers. My only critique is charging $15 for gel nail polish after the pedicure was $78 is way too high. Walked in on Sunday morning. It was crowded. Good sign. I had new set and citrus pedicure. Rose did both services. She is friendly and very professional. My nails came out perfect. She didn't scrape,pinch etc. Shape was perfect and this is the best pink & white French I've ever had. I tried this place out on a recommendation from a few friends that go there . Walking in it was clean. I went in for a new service I saw advertised called Biab gel which is supposedly healthier for the nails and last up to four weeks. The service was advertised for $60. When I went in to have the service done they explained to me it was going to be another $10 if I wanted my cuticles trimmed as well, which I declined. The nails overall looked good nothing special but within five days I had a broken nail and the polish was lifting. I went back and had the nail fixed and was not treated very kindly. I have to also say that for $75 with the tip my nails did not look any better than paying $40 without tip and did not last. As advertised . I decided to go back and give them one more chance and the nails lasted another six days and two nails broke and I was very unsatisfied as I was charged $70 that time even though I did not have my cuticles trimmed and I gave a $15 tip. Now after being overcharged, I feel for a mediocre service that did not last as long as any gel or dip treatment I've ever had. I have tried to call the salon and leave two messages with the owner with no reply back at this point they have lost a customer and I would like my money returned obviously excluding the tip. They should not be advertising a service like this costing $30 more than most nail salons that clearly does not last as long as any normal service. I also found them to not be very friendly and accommodating. I know a lot of people on the north shore and will be sure to not recommend this place . As a business owner, I like to give people that the benefit of the doubt and the time to act in a professional manner, but that time has expired. And frankly, there is too many other nail salons / competition for them to have such bad business ethic. read more

Skip this place! I've been a handful of times and leave disappointed each time. My most recent experience leaves a lot to be desired. They close at 7. Got there at 5, leaving 2 hours for a pedicure and dip. Services were extremely rushed through. Employees that didn't have customers were having a blast - huddled together in the front, laughing loudly, on phones, playing games. The entire environment was terrible. Not relaxing at all! The employee doing my nails completely rushed through my services, I'm sure wanting to join in on the rest of the employees having a ball in the salon. I would suggest closing earlier if employees clearly don't want to be there until closing time. My entire service of pedicure and dip took about an hour and 15 minutes. Nails are uneven, different lengths, different shapes. Some are square, some are rounded. And to top it off they are not cheap! I was in the area 3 weeks ago and was told to try this spot for a Aroma spa pedi (2 hours and $63)FREAKING AMAZING!!! I was told this service runs 1.5-2 hours generally. I recently paid $95 for a similar treatment for just under 90 minutes somewhere else and it was NOT as good. Also, in the suburbs.... Being from Boston that's what you get at that price point ($63) for a spa-ish pedi that is MAYBE AN HOUR AT BEST! This was not only the best spa pedi ever but 2 hours?!?! Then I returned today for not a basic but not the FULL spa (revive $53 and over an hour) and it was just as fabulous for the service level. Their basic pedi is $43. For the extra $20- if you have the time (I didn't today....) The chairs are fantastic, the staff is professional, courteous and super friendly... it's a pleasure to be in the space - as it should be but not always the case sometimes. It's a modern, clean, relaxing space that utilizes the set up well. Quiet. Super quiet. Came in w/ my friend for Pedicures. We made appointments for 7:15, text message reminder showed two appointments... One for 7:00pm and another for 7:15pm. We arrive early, but we were both taken at 7:15. So I guess ignore their text confirmations... The spa is spotless, everything is incredibly clean.. One thing that is a bit concerningthe chairs are plugged into outlet expanders. I don't believe this is legal, and potentially could interfere with the GFI plugs / grounding that protect the you if the water came in contact with electricity (potential electrocution). See photos. The decor is a little cold for my taste, white, gray, and brown everything. Waiting area benches are uncomfortable after just a few minutes. The technicians are very quiet, you could here a pin drop in this place- I like that a lot. I'd bring headphones the next time, the music is similar to a sound machine (animal sounds, rain forrest, light piano). The pedicure was great! Callus treatment was very thorough. got a gift certificate from my husband to this place for $200.00 for Mothers Day. They use to be really good but that all changed the last two times I went there. If you are short staffed then don't take appointments or cut back but you don't care about peoples time you just want to squish in as many people as possible.
