Friendly and welcoming atmosphere and employees. Exceptional service. Definitely returning!

Woman at the front continued to answer calls as my son and I stood right in front of her .. didn't ask what I needed just looked at me, I asked for gel builder and she said they didn't do that so I asked for a menu of their services offered.. she told me it was online and answered another call. I then said I would just get a regular gel manicure and assumed I had acrylics on which I didn't then went on to say they couldn't remove my gel builder either. Just very uncomfortable felt like I was not wanted there since the moment I walked in. read more

Gloss - So many great dazzle dry colors! - Nail Salons Near Me - Melrose, Massachusetts

Went here for a quick manicure between classes and had a great experience. The salon is very clean, and they were able to help me decide between getting dazzle dry or gel based on the current health of my nails, which I really appreciated. My manicure was quick, and a week later still in great shape, and the pricing was very reasonable. There is street parking right outside of the salon! read more

Great mani. They are always on time and very professional. It is very clean as well. Lien did a great job. My mani (Dazzle Dry) was perfect!

exceptional care and exceptional service... Always! They know how to care for the natural nail! Without a doubt, I would recommend them !

Online booking is ok, a bit lengthy, especially for first time customers who aren't requesting specific nail techs. It's a cute spot, clean and thoughtfully designed but also looks to try to maximize the number of chairs. I have had a bit of trouble communicating all my needs to the tech I had the last time and unsuccessfully went a few rounds asking if they could use non-latex gloves as I have an allergy. Always seems plenty of street parking around the area. Prices seem pretty competitive, but the work was good. read more

My two daughters and I went to Gloss for pedicures and loved the experience. The salon is attractive, immaculate, and has room to accommodate quite a number of clients at a time. We were seated together, making the experience twice the fun. The staff are kind and do a nice job. Every step felt luxurious and fun and we will visit again. read more

I have been going to GLOSS since it opened its doors! I absolutely adore the staff --many of whom have been there for years, which speaks volumes about the incredible leadership of the owner, My. There's a warm, friendly vibe that extends to every client who walks through the door. This is a woman-owned business, and My is a total badass boss lady who sets the tone for excellence. As for the nails, I always go with the Dazzle Dry line, which is hard to find at most salons. I've never had a single complaint about the quality of my manicures or pedicures. Highly recommend! read more

Every time I go hear the staff is super friendly, very high-quality nails however there could be more selection for colors and their nail art is not the best. However, this interior design is cute. The price is a little expensive, but overall I would recommend checking this cute salon out! read more

Hanna is a personable and professional woman. She knows exactly what I like And makes me feel relaxed. The place is clean and staff nice.

Good basic manicure that got the job done was a little rushed through and made them a bit thick

This is a neat nails spot in Melrose Highlands area. It has quality service for all your mani and pedi needs. The space is clean and hygienic and the staff is very efficient. They also do dazzle dry which is a great alternative if you want long lasting nails without the gel damage. Prices are also decent. read more

you have to pick a color by opening each bottle while your nails are wrapped in foil - 1 star 75% of the nail polish bottles have crusted dried paint around the rim (especially the DND) and inside, the paint wasn't mixed well in some. this screams old polish to me.. - 1 star my nail tech was Kelly. I'm sorry to write this but the honest truth is that she was rude and yelled at me during my manicure (she even apologized after) but it ruined the vibe and made for an uncomfortable experience. - 2 stars i drove from Medford wanting to try a new salon.. this was a complete mistake! do not go here. I will not recommend Gloss to anyone I know read more

The place was clean, aesthetic, and full of light. I loved the pedicure Lorina treated me to. She was so attentive to my nails and knows what to recommend for colors that would look good with my skin tone. Will absolutely be returning! read more

Today is Saturday. I had a gel manicure Thursday. The polish has chopped on two of my nails. What a waste of time and money.

My roommate and I were on the prowl to find a new nail salon in the North Shore area. As I was doing some research I noticed Gloss, what captured my attention was the modern interior design of the place. I called them and made an appointment and Amanda the receptionist was able to pencil me in. Before I get into my nail tech VA let me hip you to Amanda, her customer service is on a different level. It was a cloudy day due to rain but when I walked into Gloss she had been a ray of sunshine. Her energy was positive and she helped me figure out what natural color would go well on my nails the whole nine. Then, my nail tech Va, a gem! She was detial oriented and meticulous on how my nails look. Va took the time to make sure I was a satisfied customer. We had great conversation and it truly felt as if I was chatting with a friend I haven't seen in a whole. Overall, loved my experience and can not wait to go back. read more

Kelly was my technician. Dazzle dry and excellent service along with precise mani and pedi Can't get any better than that!

I've been a customer of Gloss for manicure and pedicure services since it opened. Staff are so friendly and dedicated (not much staff turnover, so kudos for that!) and have consistently given me meticulous care. I really like that the salon space feels so open and airy, nice and bright with natural light thanks to the long window wall facing the street. The furnishings and decor likewise add to the spacious, modern, clean aesthetic. Love my time spent at Gloss, the whole experience leaves me feeling refreshed. read more
