Had a great first experience. I didn't make an appointment and didn't have to wait more than 10-15 mins for a gel mani/pedi HOWEVER I would suggest that you make an appointment. I totally got lucky because the woman misunderstood and thought I had an appointment - oops! Regardless, it was a great experience. My only complaint would be the fact that my pedicure polish wasn't super thorough/consistent; when looking at the polish, you can see that the edges from the second coat (essentially, she only polished the middle and left they sides and edges the second time around). BUT it's been almost 4 weeks and my gel mani polish has only chipped on one finger...and only because I picked at it. I'm pretty good about not touching the nails and making them last as long as possible, but this is longer than normal and I'm pretty stoked about it. Everyone commented on their low prices, but it was actually comparable to any gel mani/pedi I've ever had, so don't expect a gigantic discount; it was the standard $50 for both. So if you are SUPER picky and meticulous about your nails? I haven't been here enough times to guarantee they'll make you happy. I've been coming here for a couple of years now and Michelle is seriously the best nail specialist you will meet. She is honest, technical, friendly, and thorough in what she does. The nail salon is a bit out of the way from where I live so occasionally I'll cheat and will go somewhere close by. However, whenever I do this, I always end up regretting doing so as my nails never come out as nice as when I go see Michelle here -Regular nail polish is still scarce but they have an entire wall of dip powder along with gel, which I get since fewer and fewer people get regular manis done anymore. -They use liners in the pedicure tub and sterilize all of their tools -Street parking is usually easy to find but when you're coming in this area during a busy time, you might have to circle or park a few blocks further down -They accept credit card (I don't think they take Amex though) but do tip in cash -They will typically run behind schedule of your normally scheduled time but that's because they're really thorough so I would rather wait and know they'll do the same for me. This rating is an average of my two visits there. First visit was 5 stars for a gel mani and regular pedi. The mani was the best I've ever had and the pedi looks close to perfect 5 weeks later if you can believe it. Miley(sp?) was my nail technician. Love. The second time I had a bad gel mani. I went in with nice long nails from my last gel mani. I left with short nails that were completely uneven in length. The technician asked if I wanted them even - um, yes - and then seemingly randomly filed down this one and that I left with completely uneven lengths. I arrived with one nail that was slightly shorter from a break but I'd already filed it off. She filed that one almost down to the quick so it was even more off from the others. Two nails weren't straight across. Very disappointed. I will ask for Miley if I go back. I agree with the other reviewers that the shop is nice and clean. read more

Great pedicures. My feel felt amazing. There isn't a lot of nail polish to choose from. And don't get the SNS. It's supposed to be odorless but I think they use a knock-off brand. It smells like nail glue and have me a headache. I'll still go here but just for my feet. read more

I have been in the Boston area for almost five years and have tried DOZENS of nail salons in Cambridge, Boston, Somerville and even Lexington. Champagne Nails is the first salon I've been to in this time that has left me completely satisfied and eager to return again. I found everything to be incredible clean, and Michelle and her sister, the shop owners, could not have been more polite or professional. I wear acrylic nails almost always because my own nails are embarrassing and hopeless. I have never had someone make them look so natural! Michelle took the time to mold them perfectly. I didn't feel for a second that I was in a factory line, trying to get pushed out of the door as soon as possible to make room for another customer. This salon just opened up recently in Everett. I am was working temporarily at an office in Everett and one of my coworkers came here on her lunch, just for a polish change, and she said it was new and clean. Clean is EXACTLY what I look for, so I went one day after work. I called to make an appointment, which I don't usually do for nails, but I didn't have much free time and wanted to make sure. The lady on the phone was pleasant and scheduled me for 4:30 on a Thursday. I'm glad I made an appointment because there is only 3 manicure stations and 3 pedicure stations, and only 2 ladies working. It is SMALL but very clean and plain. There was another woman getting her nails done, but I was taken right at 4:30. Many people came in but did not want to wait and left. The color selection leaves much to be desired. A wall rack full of OPI, mostly just lots of reds. Although after I was sitting I realized there was a basket off to the side of what looked like Essie, with brighter, different colors. Hopefully they get those on display soon. I had Michelle, who is extremely nice and pleasant. The other woman's name is Miley (?) or something like that, who seemed nice as well. The pedicure chairs are standard, nothing fancy, and the pedicure itself was also standard. There was no real foot care, like callous shaving, heel softening, etc which is the whole reason I get pedicures, especially in the summer from wearing flip flops. The massage was also somewhat lacking, although she did use hot stones which was great. My toes look pretty good. Not flawless, but good and I'd go back. The price is definitely worth it, as for a pedicure it was only $20. Manicures are $12, and they told me you can get a mani/pedi for $29... awesome price! A full set was listed as $25.... crazy! They also do waxing, but I did not see a price list for that. If you're looking for a fancy spa, this is not the place, but for a solid mani pedi and great prices, and a CLEAN salon, this is the place to go! read more

Was excited to go after reading such "great" reviews. I don't fully understand why so many are estatic about this place. I went in for a full set of acryclic nails (I know...... who even wears them anymore???) But, I wanted to look nice for a wedding I was in.. I made an appt a day in advance and spoke to a very nice lady on the phone. I went in the day of and it was just myself and the lady. I showed her a pic of the very simple/basic/standard french manicure style I wanted. The end result was very ugly, short, and shapeless. I explained to her that I didn't want them thick and would like them to have the natural curve of my natural nails. I went there after having two fractured feet and my nails were a mess from being in casts for 5 months. The gal that did my nails paid great attention to detail! I had lots of overgrown skin and horrible to look at nails. She also helped me walk as I am handicapped. The other women working there were so kind offering me a water, as I waited for my ride. I went here a few times to get my eyebrows done. Staff was very nice. However about 4 days after I got my eyebrows waxed, I started breaking out severely around my left eyebrow. These "pimples" were swollen and when the "popped" left a huge hole, yes hole in my face. I went to the doctors and they told me I contracted a staph infection. Fast forward a month I got an abscess in a totally different spot, under my arm. Another month later I got another one in the same place. That one had to be cut open and drained. A week after that healed up I got yet ANOTHER ONE on my torso right where my waist bends. Super uncomfortable. So I decided to get A second opinion about this and the Dr at the hospital told me I contracted MRSA most likely caused by a previous STAPH INFECTION. I would avoid this place they are not sanitary clearly. I have never had these issues before I came here. read more

I decided to get a mani/pedi sort of last minute for my birthday. Decided to check this place out since it is literally down the street from me. I called at 10am to make an appointment and they were able to schedule me for 3:30pm. The place is very clean and pleasant. It is on the smaller side and there were only two nail techs, so I would definitely recommend making an appointment. But I am very pleased with the service I received. I got a gel manicure and I love it. They really take there time with you and do a good job. I also got a pedicure which came with a leg scrub and a hot stone leg massage which was a very nice surprise! They have a good selection of polish and their pricing is reasonable I think. Gel manicure and pedicure cost me $46. I don't get my nails done often so not sure if this is a deal or not! But will definitely go back. read more

EYEBROW WAX REVIEW ONLY: I was in a bit of bind. Usually, I trek to Dorchester to see Michelle at LV Nails, but I was a bit short on time and had a lot to do today. I decided to try this place. I walk in, it's essentially a ghost town. There were only 2 customers in there: 1 apparently got a gel mani, the other was in the wax room. I ask the main lady who greeted me how much an eyebrow wax was. She said $8. I thought, "okay, so far good". I proceed to ask her about how they wax, and what they wax. *I'm very peculiar. I don't want the same wax pot used on someone's vajayjay used on my face.* So she goes into the wax room and asked the waxer (also named Michelle ha ha ha?) if they do other waxes. (That's my guess, they were speaking Vietnamese. So I really have no idea what they were saying.) She comes back out and tells me they only do facial waxes. So that's another plus for me. I asked to see the room to check for any obvious health violations/cleanliness that my eyes can see. (I do this in doctors offices too. I seem crazy, but I've had nasty experiences and know people who've contracted things. DTA: DON'T TRUST ANYONE) However I couldn't because someone else was in there. While I waited, I asked the main lady if I could sit up and do it because I don't like the laying down thing. It's gross to me. I don't think she understood me AT ALL. She kind of just said "yeah...." with one of those confused smiles and head nod/shake combos. I just said "okay." The prior customer comes out, and her eyebrows did not look good (to me). Maybe that's how she wanted it, idk. The wax lady tells me to lay down. I look over into the tiny room, and she had not changed the paper from the previous person. I VERY POLITELY asked her if she could change the paper. I can't believe she asked me to just lay on the same paper that was totally ripped up! She sucked her teeth, rolled her eyes and changed the paper. I said thank you. She didn't even pull the paper up all the way past the head rest. She told me to lay down, but I wouldn't at least until that paper was pulled up fully. I asked her if I could just sit up, but she said it works better for her if I lay down. (In her defense, she was very short, and me sitting up was still too tall for her.) so I laid down. She asked me how I wanted my brows. I told her to maintain my shape and fullness, and just make it clean only. Keep my natural arches. She said okay. I close my eyes, and let her go HAM on these wolf brows. After the waxing, I noticed she was doing ALOT of plucking, which tells me that the wax was most likely NOT hot enough. Michelle at LV Nails never did this much plucking. (Lord please don't let me have contracted anything from someone else's facial skin.) While doing my brows, she started talking about how I ask a lot of questions, and how I confused her. I told her about some of my experiences and that's why. She had the nerve to say that I should always go to the shop to see that it's going to be clean because shops are professional. First of all, just because it looks clean, doesn't mean that the process of how they work is clean. After she's done she starts putting some liquid on my brows that had consistency of hand santizer. I said "whoa what is that?" She told me it was cooling gel. It ended up leaking into my eye as it rolled down my face. I asked her to wipe it out of my eyes. She said that there was nothing in there while dabbing at the corners with a q-tip instead of like an actual tissue! I asked her to wipe them again and she did. I looked in the mirror at the result. What do I see? The bottom part of my brow was rounded, arch gone. The top part of my eye brow barely had the arch there. My eyebrows were clean, but the shape was gone. She also took a bit too much off the sides. I still looked human and not crazy, so I I went with it. I didn't want to spend another second in that salon. I wouldn't recommend this salon. Only in extremely desperate situation. Everyone in that shop needs to work on their customer service skills. It was terrible. When I was greeted, it would've been nice to hear "How are you? Is this your first time here?" Something like that to familiarize me with the salon. That way, if people haven't been there before they can explain how they do things. I like to be walked through at a new place how they do things, especially for brows since salons do things differently. I wish I had warning about that cool gel or what the brand was. I could've been allergic! Bad people skills, bad attitude. I wouldn't go here for brows ever again. Wouldn't even for nails. FYI about nail tools: they looked disgusting to me. I go to MiniLux where they autoclave everything. Clean nail file too. My eyes are still burning, gonna flush more. read more

The environment is very clean and relaxing, especially since each technician works one on one with every client. That's how I found this great place in Everett the first time and I was so impressed that today, I sought them out, and my second visit was even better than the first. As I said I don't go often and I love to be barefoot, so the nail techs always have their work cut out for them. She took her time, made me feel pampered, was friendly and skilled my feet have never looked better, all for $20.00. Booked a 1030 appointment yesterday and was seen immediately upon my arrival this morning. I personally loved it here, they didn't rush, which is great for me because I'm a working mom of two and soaked up every minute of foot/leg massage and thoroughly enjoyed their new massage chairs. She was meticulous, cutting out my ingrown toenails and filing down my thick big toenails (gross I know) but was very gentle. She engaged me in conversation and spoke in English the whole time so I could understand her. My favorite part was the hot stone massage, which was super relaxing and included in the 23 dollar pedicure cost.They made me aware of other services such as the eyebrow waxing, but didn't attempt pressuring me into it like so many nail salons do. At the end of my appointment she offered me a hard candy while my toes were drying (I picked butterscotch, yum!) and asked me if I was walking or driving. When I told her I was walking she offered to wrap my toes since I was wearing shoes, which I accepted. She put some oil on my toes and wrapped them in plastic, and I got home after a 15 minute walk with no smudges and perfect toes! The salon was clean and bright, with soft music and a small candle burning at the front desk. Needless to say I have found myself a new place to get my toes done regularly. First time coming here, made an early appt for 930. The salon is a little on the smaller side but very cute and clean. They even use liners in their pedicure tubs (major plus). There were three nail techs when I came and mine was a very nice lady named Mai. I had a pedicure (with vinylux polish so it cost $2 more) and gel manicure. It took about an hour to do and cost me a whopping $48 altogether along with a $10 tip. I usually don't splurge like this but I had a wedding to go to lol. Pedicure was nice. They also include an exfoliating scrub and brief hot stone massage. The gel manicure however was mediocre. I felt like she didn't cut my cuticle clean enough so the gel didnt look very neat up top and thus started to "lift" within a week. My nails, which I always get white, also turned a tannish color on the tips. Not sure why, never happened before. My suggestion to any potential clients would be to make an appt since it's a smaller salon with fewer techs and they did seem to get quite busy. I decided to get a gel manicure and regular pedicure on New Year's Eve(12-31-16). I had never been here before, but based on the positive reviews I decided to try it out. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They had a fairly decent selection of gel and regular polishes. The pedicure was very nice, with a hot stone massage added to the usual pedicure treatment! The girl who did my nails did a very nice job. Unfortunately about a week and a half later (today 1-12-16) my gel manicure nails have started to flake off or pull away from the nail (see pictures). I have had several GEL manicures at various places prior to this manicure. Most of my gel manicures last a full 2 to 3 weeks, with no chipping, peeling or flaking off whatsoever. It's very disappointing to have paid $48 for my manicure and pedicure, only to have my nails last less than the time they should.
