Hands down the best mani / pedi / brow wax experiences I have ever had. I have been going here for years and won't get a pedi anywhere else. It's super clean, welcoming and everyone is friendly. There's never loud music, too many people or anything that would take away from a relaxing moment. They even ask if you would like the individual light over your station turned off during the massage. It's touched like those that will keep me coming back. Love it here!!! read more

I came here when it 1st opened 7+ years ago. The owner is great but seems like anyone else is just fair or awful. I haven't been here in years (bc the service just declined) FFWD 2022 my nail salon was booked, so figured I'd try back again! Give another chance! We'll, with inflation $60+ for basic mani/pedi and like others said, it unfortunately was bad. I didn't get the owner and the woman I got cut my toe and was coughing without turning her head or covering her mouth or a face mask and sprayed my legs. First day they opened from close down of pandemic. Owner was doing 3 things at once answering calls taking payments and working on a client's nails, so not professional or sanitation wise. The girl who did my nails never wore gloves and put my nails under a dryer which isn't state policy there isn't to be anything air blowing. Never going back and don't recommend this salon. read more

I went to this salon once to do a shellac manicure and I was surprised by how beautiful it was and the great service I received. It's a little bit more expensive than the average nail salon in Peabody and they only accept cash for tip but it's definitely worth it. I will definitely be coming back :) read more

Quite possibly the worst nail experience ever. My mother and I both got our nails done. My mother got a gel manicure and I got dip. My mother in the process of getting her nails done got her entire hands painted with red nail polish. The woman put so much top coat my mother was in pain because her nails were stuck to her fingers and the topcoat was everywhere. Also, all of her nails were filed extremely uneven. I got dip. When the girl was done she didn't even check them out. One nail has about a quarter of the side with no color. Another nail has bubbles in the polish. There are spots where you can see my nails underneath. I asked if I could get rhinestones along the cuticle. The girl doing my nails said yes. But apparently didn't understand what I was asking. She should not have said yes if she didn't understand. The owner told me that they don't do discounts because I said I didn't want to pay full price as I was unhappy. She said if I didn't pay full price they had to take off all the polish. After paying she said she would give a gift card for the amount I paid. . I told her that there would not be a next time. There are so many more better places out there. I do not recommend here. read more

First time visiting this salon with outside sets that needed some love, not only did the lady doing my nails do them quickly, but also efficiently. I told her the last place gave me some wonky and uneven shapes and she was METICULOUS about fixing the shape and length of each nail (made them as perfect as she could without having to do a full set). Not to mention the salon is very clean as well as cute! 40 for a fill and 35 for a regular shellac manicure, very affordable. Definitely our new go to spot. read more

My family and I were very much looking forward to getting our manicures done here. When we walked in, the place was completely empty. Not a single customer and the girls working there were just sitting around. It wasn't surprising considering it was a weekday. However, one of the girls asked us what we needed, and as I told them that we would like a manicure, they looked us up and down (with pure judgment beaming off of them as if we weren't classy enough or something to be there), then one of the girls rudely interjected and said "No! We are booked up and don't have time for you!" And they all looked us up and down and judged us purely on appearance. I have no idea how a place like this survives on such bad service and rudeness. There was no sense of politeness from this establishment at all. No way do I recommend such an awful place with such horrendous service. read more

So I was on a HUNT to find a new nail guy/girl. And after searching Yelp and reading these reviews, I decided to give this place a whirl! I had called to check their closing time (7p during the week, not sure about weekend hours). And I ended up just making an appt. I was asked for what? I answered refill. She asked what kind, gel or acrylic? I answered acrylic. Very detailed, which I loved! I sorta had a hard time finding it, I knew the plaza it was in but the salon is in the back almost tucked down the little walkway area. I could just be an idiot, but there was no giant sign saying THE FINISHING TOUCH is right HERE! lol I instantly fell in LOVE as soon as I walked in. I have never been in such a clean, modern nail salon!! I got there near closing and I was watching the staff clean EVERYTHING from top to bottom, as my nails were finishing. The salon is huge, relaxing, comfortable and inviting. They play soft rock music, which I happened to like. I was early to my appt. but was taken right away. As I mentioned, I was in need of a refill. Some nails were lifting, so we decided to just take them off for a new set. I was asked every question under the sun. Do you want them thick, or thin? Round? Square? Flat square? Rounded edges square? With everthing thing he did to my nails, he showed me for my approval. I had ZERO complaints! The only other demerit I can give them (besides the locating of the salon lol), which may just be me being an idiot again. Is I didnt see a pricing/service menu? I have no idea what other services they offer, or the pricing. I do know they do nails and pedicures, but Im not sure if that is it? This saddens me, but I have to update my review about Finishing Touch. I still love the staff, and their pedicures are fantastic. That hasn't changed. Well actually, I wouldn't KNOW if that hasn't changed because I literally CAN NOT GET IN HERE. Ever! I have walked in at 10am on a Tuesday and been turned away. I have walked in at 4pm on a Friday and been turned away (less surprising). I have called for appointments and been told they are booked solid. I am thrilled that they are doing such a great business, but if you are that busy, maybe staff a little better? I want to be able to come and get a pedicure once in a while! Hopefully they get this kind of worked out, and I'll try again in a month or two. I'd love to be able to update this again and bring it back to where it once was! read more

I had been going to Nail and Co. for several years whether it be the Natick location or Medford where I currently live. I loved my girl Sandy as a person but she never quite got my nails right. There would be bumps and not enough acrylic put on my nail! Also you could see the ridges of where she drilled! I always asked her to put more acrylic on but she said NO. I got a French but it never looked clean or neat enough for me! This place is definitely by far MUCH better all the way around. The staff is extremely attentive and Ann the manager is a sweetheart and very accommodating. This was my first time and I fell in love with the place from the decor to the people and of course the services. I had a pedicure done by Cloe (not sure of spelling) and was TERRIFIC! She's adorable and meticulous! I had a new set of gel nail done by Nancy! Perfect by far the best gel acrylics yet! French came out beautiful! They were exactly what I wanted. So I have to change my review, based on the few days that followed. My nail polish started to chip after 3 days, and when I checked out my toenails they had random sharp corners to them. It was almost like she started to cut my toenail and then moved on before she was done. I think was disappoints me in the price VS Quality. I paid $52 dollars, and my nails didn't make it a week without looking like crap. Almost like they didn't put on a top coat, or a watertown top coat. Gel nails are my favorite and Christie (one of the owners) does them every two weeks. I love having my nails done here. The owners Christie and Vu are extremely professional and attentive and do their best to train their staff to be the same. My gel lasts three weeks as opposed to two elsewhere, never peels or chips.Christie always asks for feedback, so if there is any issue with staff, she wants to know and corrects it immediately The salon is decorated beautifully and they also do other services. Cleanliness is a pet peeve of the owner and everything is pristine.It is located in the back of a strip mall on a main street so is easy to find. Although they are popular and busy, Christie always does her best to fit you in if a last minute appointment is needed,.After trying numerous other places, I am happy to have found them and would never switch!!! read more

This place is AMAZING! I am one of those people who religiously gets their nails done every two weeks by the same person at the same place, and has EXTREME anxiety when the thought of going somewhere else emerges. This place is not only BEAUTIFUL but the people are so nice and do an amazing job. They engage in conversation with you (unlike some places where they just talk among themselves) and they make you feel welcome. I've never seen such a selection when it comes to nail polishes in any other nail salon. They only charged $20 for an acrylic fill, and from the hard work they put in it was more than worth it. It was kind of hard to find... They are located in a small plaza (with a Sal's Pizza and a few other shops) but they do not have a sign over their shop. If you drive around to the right side of Sal's they are in the spot with the purple and pink curtains in the windows (next to Newbury Salon). I use to drive thirty minuets to Saugus to go get my nails done... but I have DEFINITELY found a new place to go! Trust me when I say you'll LOVE this place!! read more

I must say I was very disappointed with this booking. My sister and I booked and evening at the spa for my sisters bridal spa day and everything was going well. The did tell us on the phone that there would be enough people so we could all get mani pedi at the same time together and no one would be waiting, which was a lie. There was 7 of us and 5 of them. The place was very clean and nice inside. They all started off extremely nice. At the end of the visit they pretty much yelled at one of the girls in regards to her tip not being enough money. They were very angry about that and were extremely RUDE. 30% tip. Not to mention i usually get Shellac nails at the place i always go to and they last me at least 2.5 week if not 3. It has been a week since i have gotten my nails done from Finishing touch and they are already chipping and look horrible, I think they do not start the Shellac low enough on your nail bed so you are bound to just come back in sooner, MORE MONEY for THEM... I've been going to The Finishing Touch for about 2 years now. Every person they have employed has been so kind and polite. I am not a regular, I go sporadically at best but Vu always remembers my name. Its not the salon's fault their signage is not better, I was told it was due to the owner of the plaza and what is/isn't allowed (neon etc.). The night before my wedding I had a few pals and family get together at the salon for a girls night. We had so much fun!! I've been here twice, once for a pedicure and regular manicure and the other time for a pedicure and Shellac manicure. I've had different technicians both times, but the services have been superb. I'm very particular about my nails and take great care of them in between professional services, so I'm kind of a picky nail customer. I'm impressed with this salon. This place is a hidden gem! It is located in the plaza with Stonewood Tavern in it. There is no sign up for the salon so you may miss it...the door is located between the restaurant and the hair salon. Once you are finally in...you will find a very clean and super cute nail salon. Be sure to make an appointment; I've never seen this place anything close to slow! They do charge you $2 if you want to pay via credit card, and tips are cash only. I had a pedicure here about a week ago. My sister and I went together. The spa was beautiful. The pedicure in itself was amazing. It was thorough and I was there for a little over an hour, which was amazing. I left feeling very relaxed and super pleased with how it came out. However, it's only been a week and my toes have completely chipped, all of them. And the polish is coming off all in one big piece. I have not been wearing closed toe shoes or done anything to cause this. I first noticed it two days after my pedicure. It's a little disappointing because my pedicure usually last me at least a few weeks. I am a hairstylist and usually have my toes done at my spa that I work at but wanted to try somewhere new and closer to home where I could go with my sister. My salon was closed so I took a chance and tried Finishing Touch. Let me say this. The place is beautiful and elegant. Worst manicure ever. Wanted French nails and the tech said oh we do ours different here. I was getting a dip manicure. Well when she got to the tips and painted them on freehand with gel polish and I had to go through the gel process and the dip. Who does that. I got the worst manicure of my life. Within a week almost all of them were chipped or broken. No lotion orr hand massage at the end. The nail tech was more interested in showing off all her designer objects. Clothes, shoes and she even had a Chanel container for the power the techs were dressed like they were going out clubbing. I don't want to see her coochie. Then they charged me an addition $5.00 because I was paying with a debit card. I've never been asked to pay mord to use s card. Don't use them. They don't even know how to do a basic French Manicure dip. read more
