My sisters, mother, and I got our nails (both manis and pedis) done here before my wedding and it was such a great experience! My sister helped book an appointment ahead of time so we were able to get the whole salon to ourselves practically. We had a few changes to our "order" before coming in, but they were very accommodating. The studio itself is very clean! I was happy to see pre-packaged and pre-disinfected tools being used, and there was even regular sanitizing. We were all paired up with a stylist who were all very attentive to each of us and so accommodating. Two of my sisters got French manicures and I even noticed that their stylists checked in with them to see if they liked their styles before finishing up their whole hands. One of my sisters and my mother even accidentally smudged their toes when drying, but their stylists also fixed them at no additional charge. Overall, it was such a great experience! I went on a busy Saturday but honestly really enjoy it and I was kinda expecting to not like them. I had Jessica and I thought she was amazing. I have long thick hair, and in the summer heat it just takes too long to do it on my own; so I love the concept of blow dry bars. LuxeBar is located on 114 in Peabody across from the Mall. It was Modern Chic inside, open, bright, and clean ! The difference between LuxeBar and some of the other blow dry bars around is, LB has EVERYTHING ! Blow Drys, Make Up, Nails; it is pretty much a one stop shop for getting pampered ! LB is close to my work, so I decided to pop in after; and so happy I did ! I had Paola, and she was AWESOME ! Very friendly, easy to talk to, and did exactly what I had asked for ! I left feeling great, loving my hair; and will 100% be back again ! - $36.00 for a wash and blow dry, can't beat it ! read more

Worse experience ever. Made an appointment and selected blow out with a braid as the service I wanted. I was the first person at the salon for the day (8:30 am) The end product was sloppy and at the end my stylist rushed so she could work with the next appointment. She didn't listen to a single thing I wanted and just did her own thing. On top of that, I told her I wanted a braid and everything at the beginning of the appointment, as well as booking it that way and she proceeded to place the blame on me that I should have let the person at the desk know I wanted a braid so they could plan time accordingly. Poor customer service. You don't blame a paying customer for poor time management and a bad end product. Was so unhappy with the work. I did however, call their Lynnfield location and ask if someone could fix it for me. I ended up having a much better experience at Mane and Mani in Lynnfield. Shaina actually listened to what I wanted to delivered great service. Won't ever be returning to Peabody. read more

The mani I got was the worst I've ever had - my cuticles and nail beds were in worse shape when I left than when I arrived and the color itself was poorly applied. Additionally, for the price I expected a true pampering and was shocked that there wasn't even a simple nail soak or hand lotion involved. My gf and I came here for blow-outs. I had loose curls and extensions put in that I provided. Within 20 minutes of walking out the door, the bottom weft of hair was hanging probably 3 or 4 inches from the root. Ugh. I get blowouts all the time and it typically takes almost an hour and a half to set my hair with a full package of extensions. This girl was done in about 45 minutes. My hair had almost no volume. Hugely disappointed. My gf has naturally long beautiful hair and her blowout was also lacking any type of volume. She stated that she could have saved her money and did it at home with the same results. She was pissed. I am no hair wizard; I go to hair salons to get styles done that I'm unable to do myself. I'm not saying my hair didn't look pretty, which is why I'm giving 3 stars. It just looked amateur. I am handicapped at styling hair myself and I have made it look better. I was really nervous because I don't normally do blowouts I do my hair myself. When I first got there they checked me in right away and offered me a drink. I was a little early so I sat down. My appt was at 5 and around 5:15 I was then told my stylist was going to be late and then was taken at 5:30. Despite having my stylist 30 min late, my blowout came out amazing. The Peabody location is awful. Stick with Lynnfield. They do not care about their customers. Last week was my daughter's wedding, and I showed up 12 minutes late. I also told them there was no need to flat iron (which should have saved them 1/2 hour), but was told they would not keep my appointment. I was told they could curl my hair but not wash it. shouldn't there be a law against that in these times. The person on the front desk couldn't have cared less. I also had my granddaughter with me for nails. They could do that. I should have left but let them do her nails. Terrible job! Covid does not allow long enough to dry and they aren't smart enough to use gel polishes. I went to directly to Lynnfield where they did do my hair and redid my granddaughters nails at no charge. We had a fabulous experience for getting bridal party hair and nails for my sister's wedding this July. I love the vibe of the salon. For the first day we did mani-pedis. I got a gel mani which held up for a few weeks. For day 2 we had a morning hair appointment. I had 2 stylists which worked seamlessly on my hair. I have A LOT of hair and wanted an updo with a braid - something that could stand up to my kids (3 under 3) and dancing without me worrying about it. They did an amazing job. I felt like I was the one getting married! The style lasted 2 days with no problems. They also were great keeping us hydrated with champagne (we brought this). On both trips I had my 4 mo old with me and the Salon had no issues even when she got fussy the girls took turns holding and comforting her when I was getting my nails done. read more

Pala did an amazing amazing job on my wedding day hair. She was able to customize my trial and then on my wedding day morning kept me calm and relaxed while she worked her magic. My hair has never looked so beautiful styled. My highlights were done at Nargelle salon by Anna who is an amazing colorist. If you need your hair repaired or just a great colorist and therapist lol see Anna! Pala was able to use her skill to show the beauty of the color. She used pin curls so that my hair would last all night. My hair really did last all night! Beyond happy with her results and will be back to see her for sure!!! I went to get my hair done a few days ago for my birthday. The stylist I had ended up using such hot water during the wash it hurt my scalp, then when my hair was getting brushed out there were a few tangles in my hair. Instead of just gently brushing through them, the stylist started aggressively pulling my hair apart and yanking with a brush. It was very painful. My neck still hurts after this. After the stylist starting drying my hair, they hit my forehead with the blow dryer hard. The curls I asked for didn't stay in and I ended up having to go home and fix my hair myself before my event for the night. I was also offered a 20% discount for my birthday prior to my visit but that wasn't applied to the total I ended up paying. I'm a regular customer and the Peabody staff is normally excellent but my last visit they placed me at a station that had the most uncomfortable chair I ever sat in. I complained to the stylist but she didn't care so when I left I mentioned it to the manager. The manager stated they were busy but I pointed out to Amy there were 2 spaces at the regular stations the entire time I was in the salon. So that was a big fat lie and unacceptable service. Such a pleasant space, with careful staff working in a pristine (clean!) environment. Everyone at Luxebar takes time to listen to customer needs. I have arthritis in my hands and feet, and some nail techs are too rough; not here. It is obvious that the staff is trained to make customers happy. Services here are a very good value because quality is so high and prices are fair. It isn't the cheapest place, but it is definitely in line with other salons in the area. Products offered are very good. Isn't OPI the gold standard for salon polish? I appreciate that they are large enough to fit me in at short notice, but swanky enough to offer me a cup of coffee while I'm enjoying my "me time." I went to Luxebar for my bridal nail appointment along with my MOH and sister in law. The guest service was amazing and the place is beautiful and hygienic, but I was very dissatisfied with the quality of my gel manicure (my pedicure was fine). My gel manicure only lasted 5 days.... I am glad it held itself together for my wedding day. On day 5, it already looked worn and I had bubbles under the polish. For such an expensive service, I did not expect the product to last so little. This would have been a 5 star review if my gel manicure would have lasted at least 10 full days because I really loved the girls there. read more
