We had a few changes to our "order" before coming in, but they were very accommodating. The studio itself is very clean! I was happy to see pre-packaged and pre-disinfected tools being used, and there was even regular sanitizing. We were all paired up with a stylist who were all very attentive to each of us and so accommodating. Two of my sisters got French manicures and I even noticed that their stylists checked in with them to see if they liked their styles before finishing up their whole hands. One of my sisters and my mother even accidentally smudged their toes when drying, but their stylists also fixed them at no additional charge. Overall, it was such a great experience! Now onto the make-up- my daughter showed a picture of what she wanted, very simple and not too overdone. What she came out with was not what she wanted at all and the coloring was way off. She also put on eyelashes that looked horrendous. The stylist was sweet but my daughter was just trying to get out of there as quickly as she could and was so upset. We ended up driving straight to Target to get makeup remover and all new products to do it all over again as we were on the way to get pictures done. I had just gotten out of the hospital a few days prior, and had been suffering from a serious bout of depression. I, embarrassingly, hadn't washed my hair in quite awhile. I felt gross walking around in public, even though I had a hat on. I looked up on my phone hair salons and came across this one (because I thought this was a nail salon lol) so I called in and asked if I could come in for just a hair wash. I said that my water was turned off, because I couldn't bring myself to admit that I had no excuse for such dirty hair. I was so embarrassed and humiliated, but when I came in, the woman (I wish I could remember her name) washed my hair with no judgment present. She talked to me and asked me about my day and if I had found anything good to buy at any of the shops. It was the most wonderful experience. It was so kind and genuine. When the wash was over, I was told I didn't have to pay. I want to thank you all for what you did for me this day. Your kindness outshone any badness in the world that day. Thank you. I apologize for lying about my water being turned off also, because I feel like that should be said. When I went in the man at the desk seemed overwhelmed, said there were 4 people ahead of me and did I know which color it was? I said no but I'll do it myself. I tried to match the color, put some where the thumb cracked, and left. I wouldn't go here for a manicure again and it certainly wasn't worth the $25 plus tip. I was only there for 22 min Friday for the polish change. Not worth it.
