The painful, swollen lumps were in a line from the top of my head down to my neck (where the soap dripped down). I've never had an allergic reaction to any cosmetic product and don't have a skin condition. The first time I got a haircut with Tricia, I let her know she missed some soap suds while we were still at the sink and she just wiped it off with a dry towel. This should have been a red flag but I shrugged it off thinking she might have just had an off day and came back regardless. Big mistake. I'm not one to leave bad reviews but it's been a full week and I'm still in pain so I felt I should let others know. I wish I could say I like the trim but it's choppy and uneven. I didn't bother asking for it to be cleaned up because I didn't want to lose more length and figured it's just hair so I can get it cleaned up by another salon in a couple of months. Tricia was nice and I still tipped her well but who knew a haircut could cause so much physical pain, sleepless nights, and misery?

I wanted the results of a Keratin but didn't have $350 to spend!!! I went to see Savenia, who was warm, funny, welcoming, and a great hairdresser! She just closed down her own business for commuting reasons and her experience shows. She gave me the express Keratin treatment (I think they called it a Keratin Blowout) - for about $120 - which has made my thick, frizzy hair SO much more manageable and smooth during this horrible heat and humidity. She also gave me a nice haircut, taking out a lot of the weight in my thick, thick hair and giving me some nice layers. The salon is a little hard to find (on the second floor above the Indian restaurant) but is stylish and comfortable. The prices were really reasonable. I'll definitely be going back and would highly recommend Savenia to anyone!

The first place turned the bottom of my hair blonde when I asked for a light brown balayage and the color was really patchy. The second place I went to for a color correction gave me GRAY highlights when I asked them to make my hair blend better. Then by a recommendation I can here and got my color fixed by Brianna and my hair now looks fantastic!!! My hair is now beautify blended and a beautiful warm golden blonde shade that matches my darker skin tone great. If you are trying to go from dark to light, go to Brianna. She's very experienced and personable. I believe she said she has been working as a hair stylist since she was 18 or maybe it was younger than that. The point is that she knows what she is doing.

My masseuse was nice and sweet, but her massage room was a little disappointing... you could hear everything going on outside in the salon area and the stylists chatting outside. Also, the towel they placed on the head rest was dirty and smelly. (I'm kicking myself for not saying anything) The sheets seemed a little sticky, that they hadn't changed them before I arrived. The massage therapist was wonderful and really had a nice manner and I liked my massage a lot! I did find it difficult when she followed me to the front desk, watched me pay and waited for her tip. I wouldn't go back, but it's not a terrible place.
