I had just gotten out of the hospital a few days prior, and had been suffering from a serious bout of depression. I, embarrassingly, hadn't washed my hair in quite awhile. I felt gross walking around in public, even though I had a hat on. I looked up on my phone hair salons and came across this one (because I thought this was a nail salon lol) so I called in and asked if I could come in for just a hair wash. I said that my water was turned off, because I couldn't bring myself to admit that I had no excuse for such dirty hair. I was so embarrassed and humiliated, but when I came in, the woman (I wish I could remember her name) washed my hair with no judgment present. She talked to me and asked me about my day and if I had found anything good to buy at any of the shops. It was the most wonderful experience. It was so kind and genuine. When the wash was over, I was told I didn't have to pay. I want to thank you all for what you did for me this day. Your kindness outshone any badness in the world that day. Thank you. I apologize for lying about my water being turned off also, because I feel like that should be said. Im leaving this review though, so the people out there can understand and know how wonderful the people working here are. Thank you.

Do NOT go here. I got a simple gel polish manicure and after less than 12 hours three different…read morenails are peeling off. Not chipping off but completely peeling off. So disappointed, I tried calling the salon and they don't have a voicemail machine. So unfortunate, I'm a bridesmaid in a wedding this weekend and my nails are trashed after spending $55 (just a gel mani with no tips or removal) + a tip for the lovely lady doing my nails. Wish I NEVER WASTED MY MONEY HERE. The salon was cute but filled with hairspray making it hard to breathe while trying to relax and get a manicure. I went in, not knowing really what to expect. The studio space is actually beautifully decorated soft couches and nice wall art. I had booked basic facial with Diane, but she recommended a ultrasonic facial (I believe) so I went with that. First she started me off with a face mask made from pomegranate, and it was 100% my favorite part. It smelled AMAZING and couldn't get over how it filled the room with this amazing aroma. It started to tingle my face but she said it meant that it was lifting the dead skin away. Neat! So on to the actual facial which used an ultrasonic machine, it was the coolest feeling. She didn't explain too too much but honestly I was fine with not talking. It was relaxing but I was skeptical. I mean, how is this going to make my skin feel soft? Towards the end she rubbed parts of my face, which I wish she did longer of. It was so nice and relaxing I would've preferred more of that. At the end, I touched my face and actually couldn't stop. It was so soft and my skin seemed so bright. I could've believe it was my skin!! The only gripes I had with the facial was my chin area. When I looked in the mirror I could actually see some blemishes sticking out since my skin was so clear. I wish she had manually extracted them so I could get the full effect. I also still had some stuff on the sides of my face from the facial. Overall I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to try out a lowly facial, especially if you grab the group on deal. I bought it for $45 dollars and the facial was valued at $110. Make sure to tip appropriately!!!

First let me mention that the salon is beautiful and carries only the best products ever - Oribe. They have a free parking lot, which is convenient for drivers like myself. I also really like how they have a tea/coffee/wine bar. Over the past year Kathy has given me the best hair! She is my go-to hair stylist in the Boston area and I'm so happy we found each other! Here's why Kathy is the best in biz: She is meticulous when it comes to hair. Whether it be for cut, dye, or style Kathy has it under control. I love how she's always able to bring my lifeless hair back to life. I also appreciate how she doesn't go crazy with the scissors and gives my hair volume and dimension without chopping it all off. She's always able to nail the color I want. We're currently working on transitioning my dark brown hair to a light balayage for the summer and it's coming along beautifully. She's extremely professional and personable. Every time I see Kathy, she's super happy and holds great conversation. This makes the hours that I sit in the salon go by quick and very enjoyable.
