I've been getting my hair done by Roger for years. I've always made it to whatever salon he was working at because his skills and artist-like ability with color is second to none and always worth it! So I was especially excited when he told me he was opening his very own salon in Lynnfeild -super close to where I was living. When I arrived the receptionist pleasantly greeted me, asked me if I'd like a refreshment and got me settled in with a robe in the waiting room. Roger came to down, shortly after that; he's always so exuberant and positive that you feel extra special when you're around him, which is a nice bonus considering that you look fabulous when you leave. Everyone was professional, I felt very comfortable and the salon was decorated gorgeously. Rave reviews for Shaun Rogers Studios all around I would recommend it to anyone. Side note: I also received a Keratin treatment from Adriana, it was my first time getting a treatment from her, but I get Keratins all the time. This brand allows you to wash your hair immediately unlike the others where you have to wait three full days. It's been 30 days since my treatment, my hair is still smooth and frizz free, so it's def of the long lasting variety. I had my first Hydrafacial experience about 2 1/2 weeks ago, and I can't believe that I'm still reaping the benefits of the treatment! My skin is not only clearer, but more balanced. As someone with classic combination skin, I suffer from super oily T-Zone and quintessential clogged pores. Unfortunately, I'm one of those types who cannot resist poking, proding and squeezing at the pores on my face in an attempt to extract as much gunk as possible. Without fail, my efforts result in a significant amount of debris coming to my skin's surface. Well, since my Hydrafacial - which, again, was 2 1/2 weeks ago - I have left my face alone. I didn't want to undo any good that had been done, and besides, my skin looked and felt great, so I really had no need to pick. Tonight, I had to experiment. I gave just a little squeeze to the pores alongside my nose - and, to my surprise, NOTHING erupted to the surface! That's clean pores 2 1/2 weeks status-post hydrafacial. Take if from someone who's tried nearly every salon on Newbury Street, Roger Spanos is the best hairstylist in the Boston area. When I showed up in Roger's salon chair five years ago, I had yellow-orange hair the approximate texture of old hay. My naturally mouse-brown, thin, and slightly curly hair was so damaged from color and the flat-iron, I thought it was a lost cause. Roger brought it back to healthy, and me into the twenty-first century. He gave me the beautiful, honey-colored hair that my texture and skin tone could handle without the brassiness. He cut my hair to maximize the curls, so instead of straightening it to within an inch of its poor brittle life, I now rarely even dry my hair. My hair has never looked better or been stronger, and even my students noticed and complimented me on the difference when I first started going to Roger. When Roger told me he was opening his own salon in Lynnfield, I was so happy for him; Shaun Rogers Salon is fabulous! Roger takes care of every detail, and it's a wonderful client experience. On a recommendation, I went to see Adriana. First of all, the salon is absolutely beautiful and you feel like your walking into someones home. The receptionist greeted me, took my coat and offered me a beverage. The waiting room is very cozy and the fireplace is an added touch of comfort. Adriana came down to personally greet me and brought me to the upstairs part of the salon. I did not have my hair colored on this visit but there is a separate color area (I like this concept). Now the haircut.... I wanted something new and was relying on Adriana to give me her thoughts. The consultation was very thorough, she asked me what my routine is and how I normally wear my hair. She gave me feedback on the current cut I had and told me how I could improve the look. I trusted her judgement and let her do what she thought was best for my hair. My haircut was nothing less than perfect! I will definitely return for a future cut with Adriana. She also gave me recommendations on other services to improve my hair which I also may book in the future. I love this place. I have been going since they opened. Roger Spanos is an amazing hairdresser. I have been seeing him for years and would never trust anyone else with my hair. Roger is a great hairdresser and will do anything you ask, but will also give you his feedback. Needless to say after a breakup he didn't want me to chop my hair like I wanted too, such a smart man. I would have regretted that decision. I just went in last weekend for a cut and style. Chiara, his assistant did an amazing wash before I had my hair done by Roger. She used a plumping shampoo and conditioner which added great volume to my fine hair. Chiara is a great new asset to the team, she was so friendly and helpful (but not overly so, I work in customer service and she definitely found the fine line). I entered the salon with my natural waves and left with a stunning cut which they curled using a curling wand. I even went out and bought one so I could replicate the style on my own. I couldn't recommend Roger or Chiara more! read more

I had an AMAZING experience at this salon. I was referred by a friend to this salon as I was looking for someone to fix a prior lip augmentation that I was very unhappy with. To start, Shaun was extremely accommodating as he came in early for me on a Sunday morning just to fit me in. He was extremely honest in how/what he could fix, very knowledgeable and experienced with my situation. He ended up doing an incredible job and completely fixing my lips back to normal. He made a highly stressful situation, very relaxed and comfortable for me. Shaun and his other staff member were friendly, down to earth and easy to talk to. During my situation I would have been willing to pay almost anything to fix my face, however his prices were very reasonable! That is the only service I have received from this salon but I will definitely going back for other services. I have heard from friends that his facials, Botox and lash services are great too. I decided to get a hair and wedding trial done at Shaun Rogers for a pre wedding party held at my parents house in Lynnfield. Heather did an amazing job on both! I ended up booking myself and 6 others for the night before the wedding and then I had about 12 girls get their hair and makeup done for my wedding day as well! Shuan sent 6 stylists into the city to get everyone ready at my bridal suite. Every single hairstyle came out so perfectly! The stylists were all so warm and friendly and made the hours before my wedding very relaxing and enjoyable. I will definitely get my hair and makeup done here in the future...I highly recommend this studio! read more

I have been going to Roger forever! I would travel the ends of the earth every 6-8 weeks to get my hair done by him so the trek to Lynnfield is worth it. He is definitely the best hair stylist if you are looking to jazz up your color & cut. I change my hair color every appointment and there is no one I would trust more to do it. His new studio is AMAZING and conveniently located in Lynnfield which was easy to get to right off the highway. I went to Charlene at first for a consultation - I felt insecure about some laugh lines around my mouth and she recommended to me a resurfacing laser treatment that improved the overall quality of my skin. My skin appears firmer, pores smaller, less breakouts and even helped with some scar tissue. She did a great job and is extremely personable! I live in LA but can't wait til my next trip back to MA as I will definitely be booking another laser treatment with Charlene! read more

Roger, the stylist is the only one who can get color right on a person. I have gone to all the salons from Cambridge, Boston and Beyond and he is the best. My hair color and cut is always fabulous. Shaun is wonderful!!! I cannot say enough about the Hydrofacial treatment I recently got here. During the treatment, you can feel the impurities being taken right out of your skin. My face was tighter and radiant immediately after the facial. The pores on my nose I could no longer see!!! My only question for Shaun was " When can I book my next treatment??"
