I had such an amazing experience here. Keri did my hair and was super nice and absolutely amazing at giving me what I asked for. I went in unsure and anxious of what it was going to look like (I wanted a black to red ombre) and Keri went above and beyond to give me what I asked for while giving me suggestions and making me look the best that I could! Everyone at the salon is super friendly, caring, and always put their clients first. I got to meet Leida as well, and it was great to be able to meet her and get to talk to her as well. She was super nice and the atmosphere is all around amazing. She was very responsive when emailing and was very active to get me in as soon as possible. They offer free snacks and water/coffee/tea which is a bonus. During my experience they said nothing but nice things about the previous customers that were in the salon and Keri stayed late to make sure my hair was done and didnt rush it. Overall I am SUPER happy with my experience at Oro and will definitely be going back when I need another hair appointment. read more

Worst experience I ever had at a salon. Then to add insult to injury I sent an email to the owner to make them aware and they didn't even bother to reply. I was gettin hair and makeup for an event and not only did my hair come out terrible but my makeup was also terrible! I ended up with eyelash glue all over my face! I had to miss half of my event so I could go home and shower and pick chunks of glue off with tweezers. I really have never seen anything like it. As a side note the salon was dirty! I was the first person as they unlocked the door to let me in and there was hair still on the floor from the day before. read more

I have curly, thick hair that's hard to tame (thank you to my Portuguese side). Met with Amanda, then Tina to work on my hair. I don't go anywhere else now. Friendly, comfortable atmosphere and my hair has never looked better. The blowouts are perfect, Tina really listens to me when it comes to cutting and coloring my hair. Comfortable salon, great staff and just overall a nice relaxing atmosphere. Never feel pressured to buy their products. Appointments are easy to make (great for a busy schedule like mine) and I'm treated like family. read more

This is an overdue review for the excellent facial I had with Leida a few weeks ago. It was my first time there and she was wonderful about accommodating my schedule at the last minute. She was very knowledgeable about skincare and the facial itself was great. My skin was sooo soft for several days after, and I didn't break out like I have with facials in the past. Amazing! I orginally had an appointment at Be Styled in Lynnfield, until they called and cancelled my appointment a half hour before it. I was referred to Oro by a friend so I called them, told them everything and they said to come right in. I couldn't of had a more pleasant experience. Nikki did my hair and it came out beautifully! This salon keeps the vibe positive unlike other hair salons where you end up in the uncomfortable position of hearing other customers dirty laundry aired. I was referred to this Salon biggest mistake that I have ever made the students at Empire are a million times better then the so call hairstyles (Tina) I have pixie short hair she completely ruined my hair she cut off my sideburn , I was so upset I went back to the salon and asked for my money back the owner did give it back but just for the hair cut she should of refunded all of it, let me say this both the owner and the hairstyles did not admit to how bad my hair looked. that being said I went to another salon and the hairstyles there not only had to repair both sideburns so that they would look even she found that the back and the side of my head was not cut correctly she did the best she could my thanks to her!!! 3 thumbs down why would anyone do something like that she had 17 years of experience just a mean person.......... read more

I had an airbrush tan done at this salon and was blown away! The location is easy to get to and parking is right by the salon. The salon is beautiful, clean and elegantly decorated. I felt very comfortable with Alice, the girl applying my tan. She walked me through each step and was very thorough and professional. She put lotion where I was drier, and cleansed the oiler parts of my skin like my inner elbow. She took just as much time prepping my skin as she did applying the tan. The color was beautiful. It's NOT orange. Needless to say, I would absolutely recommend this salon! I can only imagine what else this fabulous place has to offer! read more

I have 2 great visits at this salon! I had a great facial about 6 months ago. I had a massage this week & I go everywhere for a massage, and this one was great!! Oro salon has been my salon of choice since it has opened. The girls make you feel like you're at home. The owner of the salon, Leida, treats all of her clients like family. She's so generous and kind. My 3 year old is even in love with her. Amanda is so amazing and talented. She is my Primary stylist for amazing cuts and color. Nikki is awesome too when Amanda is busy ill go to her for blow outs, conditioning treatments, cuts and up dos. I tried to give my patronage to this salon, and for no fault of my own (because once again...I told NO ONE of their gossip), I was treated with contempt, disrespect, and slander. I have nothing but amazing things to say about Nikki and the salon. They have consistently gone out of their way to accommodate my hectic and irregular schedule.
