I'm not sure there are enough stars on Yelp to give a high enough review of Michele at Salon…read moreWillington. To say that she changed the way I think about my skin only scratches the surface. Other facials I have received have always felt a bit "going through the motions" at various points or throughout all of the facial. With Michele, her passion for esthetics and her client's needs are so evident not in how she talks, but in every part of each service. I have had my eyebrows waxed and tinted by Michele. I was so nervous about the color being too dark, and she listened to me, explained what she was doing the entire time, and then showed me right away. They were perfect. The facial I received from Michele truly (as I said above) was life changing for me in the way I care for my skin. Michele treated my skin as it were gold - slowing down, assessing its needs, using the best products - and it changed my skin regimen completely. I slow down now and care for my skin - I cannot believe how incredible my skin looks. I've never received so many compliments nor have I ever had this much confidence going make up free. Michele is an experienced esthetician, but she is more than someone with many years in the industry. She is studied, passionate, caring and she listens. I'm working facials into my monthly budget now - because she is truly the best!

They did a wonderful job healing the hair with the mask as well, and the blow dry at the end was beautiful too! I am so happy I found a wonderful place to call 'home' as far as hair goes. Both require experience and attention to my specific requests. Erin nailed it the first time. I was so excited to find someone who took the time to listen and followed-through. I recently went here and am disappointed in my curly cut. I was excited to find a salon near me…read morethat specializes in curly hair but the end result is not what I asked for. I received a bad haircut 2+ years ago at a different salon and I was finally feeling like I could go and get my haircut again. I was very careful when researching salons and thought this place would be a good fit. I mentioned in my booking that this was my first haircut in a while due to a bad experience and told my stylist. The salon also asked for pictures of my hair and sent a questionnaire asking what I wanted. I said multiple times that I wanted long layers and to keep most of my length. That did not happen. The stylist kept length in the back and gave me very short layers and I do not like the very poofy, volumized look. When I have gotten curly cuts in the past, it's like they are carving my curls with their scissors and making them fall nicely. The stylist here took portions of my hair and pulled them to the opposite side of my head to cut and give me very short layers. When dried, the curls get muddled together and do not even fall nicely. I feel like I have a shelf of short curls around my head. I wear my hair up and I cannot even wear it braided due to all the layers. When I shower I am reminded of what a hack job of a haircut I received and get sad all over again. Having mentioned my troubled past with haircuts in the booking (and in person), I thought that they would be very careful when cutting my hair. I am aware that my past heightens my current disappointment, but I think it is still worth to note to prospective customers that they are not able to achieve long layers.

My sister helped book an appointment ahead of time so we were able to get the whole salon to ourselves practically. We had a few changes to our "order" before coming in, but they were very accommodating. The studio itself is very clean! I was happy to see pre-packaged and pre-disinfected tools being used, and there was even regular sanitizing. We were all paired up with a stylist who were all very attentive to each of us and so accommodating. Two of my sisters got French manicures and I even noticed that their stylists checked in with them to see if they liked their styles before finishing up their whole hands. One of my sisters and my mother even accidentally smudged their toes when drying, but their stylists also fixed them at no additional charge. Overall, it was such a great experience! Now onto the make-up- my daughter showed a picture of what she wanted, very simple and not too overdone. What she came out with was not what she wanted at all and the coloring was way off. She also put on eyelashes that looked horrendous. The stylist was sweet but my daughter was just trying to get out of there as quickly as she could and was so upset. We ended up driving straight to Target to get makeup remover and all new products to do it all over again as we were on the way to get pictures done. The place itself is clean and nice but maybe we'd try it again for just hair and ask for plenty of hairspray.
