I was excited to try a new place. At first it appeared to be very clean. It even had a fresh liner in the foot bath, and the tools were sanitized and sealed. Unfortunately, the woman giving me my pedicure, did not have high standards of cleanliness. She pulled a very dirty used unwrapped nail brush out of her drawer and started to wash my feet with it despite the fact that I had just showered before I came. The brush was grimy with a lot of dirt in the worn bristles from prior feet. She then took an unwrapped tool from the same drawer, put it on a drill and started to use it on the bottom soles of my feet pretty much tearing the skin up and leaving them rough and sore,. when she grabbed a pair of used clippers out of the drawer instead of using the ones that were in the the packaging I decided it was definitely time to leave. The woman in charge came over to ask me what was wrong and I tried to explain it to her carefully, but she seemed to have a language issue understanding. Even though I didn't have the pedicure completed, no polish filling etc. they still charged me $40 which I paid to get out of there. I'm guessing the nail technician was new because she was not wearing a name tag. I definitely do not recommend this establishment. read more

Thank you so much Vivian!!! I called the salon in the evening wanting to redo the fill I got somewhere else a week ago. I was really unhappy how my nails had come out from a previous salon in LA. Vivian accepted me and gave me a last minute appointment for same day. When I arrived we realized it was best to remove the current acrylic powder I had because it was truly bad. Vivian took her time to remove my old acrylic powder and do a new set of gelX. My nails came out AMAZING!!! Even though it was past the closing the time and Vivian was still working on my nails, she never once fussed about it or tried to rush my experience. I am truly so so so happy with my nails and how they came out. Thank you Vivian and Ann for the amazing customer service! I will most definitely be returning for any future needs. read more

This used to be one of my go to salons but lately I keep giving them a chance and get let down. This time was the last time. This is probably the worst pedicure i've ever gotten. The big toe was cut to an uncomfortably short level and each nail after was then cut down to a sliver and cut the tops of the nail on the toe. She then kept going over it with a file but it was so short that it was just going directly to the skin. I had to ask her to stop and shrieked when she poured alcohol on the open cut. I almost never go to the salon because I've been painting my own nails for as long as I can remember. I wanted to try something new and treat myself so I tried out dip. All my nails had a lot more length and they were filed down so low and uneven. I went in because my nails had such a nice length. My wide thumbs look even wider and stranger because it wasn't even filed even. Under my nails were filed with a tool and the tool was a little rough and made under my nail sting. I had to ask a few times if she could file the nails more even and less sharp. If they were even to begin with I would probably have longer nicer looking shaped nails. My nails had 100% potential of looking like beautiful long acrylics but when it came down to the shape and how much length was taken away it made me really upset that I spent $50. Maybe I'm just really picky but I wasn't satisfied compared to what I can do myself. The staff there is very nice and friendly though and I appreciated the help I got when it came to picking a color. I have been looking for a new nail place for a while because the one I usually go to is sub par. After reading reviews of this salon I just had to go and they did not disappoint. My mom got a French gel manicure and my sister and I both got acrylics. The women were so nice and very attentive to our nails and our satisfaction. They will check with you every step of the way if you like it so far and they're very friendly. My sister had one technician who has bangs (i wish i caught her name) that was absolutely amazing. She spent so much time making sure every nail was perfect and even and matched each other and looked natural. The salon is also very nice and clean and the prices are very reasonable. I will definitely be making this my new nail place! read more

Love this place! Most importantly for me is that they're very clean. The ladies are always so friendly and accommodating. Been here a few times and have walked away happy. The nail polish selection isn't the best but I always find a color, this time I brought my own. In the past I had an appointment and there was no wait, today (I'm actually sitting in the chair now) I just walked in and they took me right away. The ladies are friendly and there's a tv. Very nice shop. My daughter and I decided to get pedicures and walked in. They told us to pick a color and took is right away. The woman doing mine was very nice and some very little English. The lady who was working on my daughter spoke no English so she would hit her leg whenever she wanted her to move it! She thought it was awful but I found it funny!' I was a little skeptical at first because of some of the other reviews BUT I was pleasantly surprised. At first I went in for a gel manicure but Kim convinced me to get the dip gel and she did an AMAZING job. She really took her time and made sure that everything was perfect. I LOVED the color selection ...my old salon didn't have much of a selection so the color selection alone is what caught my attention at this place! The staff was so great and friendly! I had a dip manicure done at this salon and a mere 48 hours later 3 of my nails were chipped, significantly!!! I am a dip addict so I have my nails done every 3 weeks and have never experienced anything like this. This isn't my usual salon as I don't live in the area, I was just visiting family. When I called the salon to explain the situation, they were extremely unhelpful. Since I could not return to their salon they would not issue me any refund, even when I asked if I could text them pictures, they said no. I understand it's tough to credit a customer solely on photographs, however, I felt it was extremely poor customer service and the chips were very bad. Dip manicures are expensive and I needed to go to my salon 2 days later to get (and pay for) another dip manicure and was extremely frustrated. Would not recommend this salon! read more

I've been coming to this salon for about 3 months now for manicures and pedicures and they are always excellent! I've tried 4 different technicians and they always do a great job and the service is spectacular! I stopped in today because since getting my nails done last week one nail had started to break on the side and I wanted to get it patched up with some acrylic. I was in the seat and getting service right away and they didn't even charge me! I highly recommend this place! read more

Was not a fan of this place at all! Stopped in on a whim because I didn't have time to drive to my regular place and I was across the street having my car cleaned and had some time to kill. The woman who did my nails was borderline rude, she literally didn't say ONE word to me the whole time. I don't expect to be entertained but at least have decent customer service and say hello and introduce yourself or ask my name. Today 3 stars. Before 5 stars. Not sure what is going on or if my technician was new. I had an appointment but it seemed like they overworked themselves by taking walk- ins with not enough staff to do the appointments scheduled.. I go here all the time and never had a problem until today. Today was a train wreck. Technician doing my mani cut my nails too short and I said I didn't want them short, just trimmed. A different person did my feet. Water basin had ice cold water for my feet. I told her and she made it warm.. not hot. Don't get me wrong she took her time and gave me a good pedicure but burned the sole of my foot on a hot stone!!! Didn't quite seem to have their act together when I paid. I was charged for a gel manicure when I got a regular one ( a difference of $15) she proceeded to void the sale and ring in a new one. Told me it may take 7 to 10 business days to rectify in my account!!! Every time I find a good place it turns sour. Not sure ill come back again. Disappointed. read more

Made an appointment here since the place I love in Stoneham was booked and I didn't have any other free time. When I got here, beauty nails and spa, I realized that I've been here before and hated it. They previously did a pedicure on me and cut one of my toes so bad that it wouldn't stop bleeding. They didn't even say sorry and hurt me more by putting too much pressure on my toes, trying to make the bleeding stop. But, I made an appointment and decided to try them again. Stupid me. They made me wait 30 minutes. I almost walked out. Why even take appointments if you don't stick by them? I told them I wanted a French manicure will a gell fill. Even asked them on the phone, when I made the appointment. The lady, Susan, pulls out acrylic powder and I said I didn't want acrylic. She said she puts gell on top. I could tell she lied to me just so she can get the business. I told her again I wanted a gell fill, not just a gell nail polish paint. She tried to convince me that it was gell but I knew otherwise. I let her do her thing, even though I'm completely annoyed. The only positive thing is that my nails looked good after she finished but that's about it. It's less than a week now and the French tips are already chipping off. Plus she told me it was $25 but charged me $35. Awful. Don't like how they lied to me, don't like the deceptive business practice, don't like to be hustled, and I don't like the quality of their work. There's plenty of better nail places to try out. Waxing: easy to get to in Reading and was able to get an eyebrow wax appointment on the same day without issue. The person who did my wax was a bit distracted and wasn't able to follow the directions I gave as far as shaping, and I came away with burns from super hot wax. Probably not the best place to get wax done. Seems to be great for nails. read more

My favorite nail salon in the area. Everyone there is friendly and does such a great job. They are very welcoming and I have never had to wait long for an appointment, even if I just walk in. The place is super clean, and they have so many colors and dips to choose from. Love getting pedicures here too, they are not expensive and they use hot stones! Kim does such a great job, I am so happy with my nails every time I leave! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place with great people. read more

The clear coat over the manicure began to turn brown within hours of leaving the salon. I was charged more for a certain type of nail polish I selected, when they were in the same area as the other nail polishes and there was no sign, announcement, or statement of said price increase. There was no hand massage, lotion, or hot towel used during my manicure. Disappointing. read more

I got a plantar wart here. It was a very good service for the money. Too good to be true, I guess. I thought the sponge she used to exfoliate my feet looked used. Apparently it was, because a wart appeared a week or two later. Plantar warts are stubborn and very painful. I've been battling this one for over two months. I've had three treatments at the dermatologist and probably need at least three more. That doesn't count the daily over the counter wart treatments that my dr. has me use in between visits. I went here to save time and money. That really backfired. read more

I went there for the first time and I will not be returning. While getting my pedicure the woman cut my toe open and without acknowledging it she poured some type of liquid on it and it burned. Also it was extremely unsanitary, when she was using the cuticle cutters she was letting the skin fall back into the water. She was also really rude and told me she hadn't slept in two days. DO NOT GO TO THIS NAIL SALON!!! I have been getting acrylics for quite some time, and I went to Beauty Nails in Reading for a fill with my mother. It was the worst nail experience I have ever had in my life. First of all, it took an hour and a half to FILL my nails which should take half the time. She kept yanking my arms aggressively toward her so it was easier for her. She would not stop coughing all over me, but apparently thought her mask was a barrier, which is WAS NOT. I was in pain the entire time I was there, holding back tears, too polite to say something, so instead proceeded to gently pull my hand away when the pain became too unbearable, but she continued rather aggressively. I come home to see that my nails are all completely different shapes and the paint job is unacceptable. I will not be paying $30+ for a horrible job I could be doing much better by myself at home. I should not be walking out of a place they call SPA, ironically, with tears in my eyes and burning fingertips. read more

I would give it less than 1 star if I could. Went there today after making an appointment in advance for a gel fill. I waited 20 mins before they got me in a chair. I see the woman take out a jar of acrylic powder. I explain that I made an appointment for UV gel nails. She looked confused and the young woman who I assume is the owner explained that only she does gel nails She tried to convince me that the acrylic powder was "gel" powder. Ive been getting gel nails for 10 years and have heard this excuse before. I continued to explain that I do not want acrylic and I came here with an appointment for gels. Unfortunately for me she was already starting a client. Pretty pissed that they clearly didn't listen to me when I made an appointment and failed to rectify the situation once I was already there. After a few apathetic "I'm sorry" I got out of the chair and left. Will NOT be returning. Its a shame considering I've heard wonderful things about them by word of mouth. They may want to learn a little bit of customer service as well as some listening skills. read more
