We have been with this company for a year now. Our light bill is over our budget. We contacted a representative and explained our situation. Semper Solaris offered to pay 2 months of our bill. 2 months? Although the rep offered, i just wanted a resolution for my future solar panel budget/expenses. The issue did not get resolved. The representative told me that a representative would contact me for a quote to add more panels, never called. The rep also said to send her all my 9 statements because she'll review where the error was. Never received a call back or a text regarding our issue. There were no explanation. Now I have a huge light bill, it is increasing daily it seems and a loan payment that went up too. I say shop around for other companies. I just want the issue resolved and to pay less than $1.00 a month as when I first started. They made it sound so easy yet with a huge amount that grows monthly. RIDICULOUS. MY BILL IS NOW $2212.71 read more

Great experience with the team. They did a great job and Finished within the time frame I was proposed. I had a Tesla battery, a panel upgrade, and solar installed at my home. They say the are a Vet friendly company of vets, they are a compete ripoff with astronomical quotes. I was quoted almost $6,000 more for an A/c system then any local installers and for the EXACT same system that SS rips the badges off and puts on theirs. I think they use the "Vet" angle to get business but ripping off vets. Semper Solaris justifies pricing by saying "although we may not be the cheapest vendor out there, we do have superior quality, service, and warranties"...this is an untrue statement. You sell A/C branded under your name that are actually in fact Armana. The warranty you advertise is in fact the SAME warranty the manufacture offers. You are not offering some superior warranty. Its Armana's warranty. Armana while being a good brand is owned by Daikin, who also owns Goodman, and Armana. These are considered "middle of the road" A/C. They are not "Superior quality" my guess is the reason you use them is the markup you get from them. In fact Goodman and Armana are made in the SAME factory in Texas and use Identical parts. The price difference is marketing and some risk on warranty. SS then marks it up even more for profit branded as a SS a/c and its not. That then proves my original points. I really wanted to like SS but twice now I have been disappointed. I stick to my original thought...They play the vet card well and it's part of the business strategy. read more

Had a great experience with Semper Solaris. From the salesman to the workers setting up the AC and the Tesla Battery, they were all courteous and friendly. The salesman was not pushy and gave my as much information as I needed. Once a decision was made to to put in the work order I was given information on how to qualify for rebates which has helped out a lot. Thanks to the rebates I do not owe anything on the Tesla Battery or new AC system. Only thing I w inch I would have done earlier is get my solar panels through them; Semper Solaris is a one stop shop! They have continued to follow-up with me and the status of the system, which is refreshing. read more

I had multiple quotes from various companies on a new AC unit and Semper Solaris had the best price and warranty overall. The Initial consultation from Robert S. was exceptional as he explained what the company was about and it's products. He also guided us on what unit was best suited for our home. Once construction began our project manager Angel R. and his team where in communication to ensure the job was complete in a timely manner. Once the job was completed we had an issue with the drain from the AC unit so I reached out to Angel R. and his team resolved the issue. Thanks again Semper Solaris team! read more

From the beginning to end the, every aspect of dealing with Semper Solaris was 1st class. Jim their salesman was knowledgeable. Patricia and others on the customer service crew were always available. And Jim, Coltien, and their install crew were simply awesome. My project was completed in a timely manner. All personnel at Semper Solaris went beyond the call of duty to get the job done. They even pointed out some broken tiles on my roof and replaced them! I couldn't be happier. read more

Erica Powell showed up to provide an in-person basic assessment and quote within 24 hours of scheduling my request for solar quote. Compared to other providers that I received a quote from, Erica was well-prepared and provided detailed information that was above and beyond what others provided. Her insights allowed me to continue to research my solar options and arrive at a decision that I consider educated and in our best interest. Erica made herself available to us via text and email beyond regular work hours, to address any questions or concerns we had during our discerning process; without commitment. Because of employees like Erica, I am endorsing Semper Solaris as a company for your solar needs. read more

I had already decided to have solar installed and at the referral of a friend went through Semper Solaris. We had scheduled the install for December 14th. I was traveling the country and made it a point to be back home for the install. I called the morning of to confirm they were still coming (nobody had shown up) and was told the project had been delayed into the next month. Then when they did arrive to install the solar the installation team leaned the ladders, panels and rails against my gutter above the front door. I asked them if they had anything to protect the gutters due to the amount of weight they were putting on them. I could see them sag every time they climbed the ladder. They blithely told me they forgot the gutter guards but they would have it fixed. Mind you these gutters were only 2 years old and I had spent extra to not have a seem on the front so they were denting and scraping a 50' piece right over the front door. Within the week someone came out to patch the stucco, initially they didn't paint it and left globs dried on surround conduit; however once I sent pictures in they sent someone out right away to correct that issue. I had also over the next couple of weeks messaged them about the gutter several times because the dents and missing color were visible as you approached the front door; however I didn't receive any response back. Mind you the house is a one story and the roof is accessible from all four sides equally. They could have chose the side not visible from the street. They requested the final payment which I decline to hand over until the damage done to the gutters was addressed. I received a quote from a gutter company for $700 to replace the 50' run; however Semper Solaris stated because they only damaged 6' of the 50' piece they would only be willing to pay about $100. They asked for permission to have one of their men to work on the gutter and paint it. They have painted the piece and while it looks good now, I have concerns that in a year the paint will fade faster then the powder coating. I am very disappointed with the disrespect of someone's property, the unwillingness to make it like new again and that I need to research companies for solar batteries when it could have been a ongoing relationship. read more

I called several different places to get information on solar. I also have a very limited time frame and window that I am able to get outside appointments accomplished, they didn't have any appointments for the day I needed, the tech told me to hd a second and they got me an appointment the next day, otherwise I would have had to wait weeks. They immediately got my project started and always updated me on any waiting we had ( waiting on inspection) etc. They always kept in contact and immediately returned any calls I placed. Great service especially for military . Will recommend to everyone. read more

Absolutely great experience with Semper Solaris. Everyone was fantastic. From sales with Bill Young, Customer Care Anthony Zelaya, Project Manager Kimberly Saavedra, Russell Suyenaga, Sam Porter and the Amazing construction crew of Eric, Patrick, Chavo, Jeff and Shaun. All very attentive and hard working. We had a very difficult ground install with lots of Granite to deal with and they never complained. They just kept assuring me that it would get done. And it did. I now have been seeing my system producing power for about 5 days and I could not be happier. I see the negative power use graphs on Solar Edge App and the SCE Website. I LIKE IT. I am not sure which location these folks came from but I know that El Cajon and a Riverside location were involved. Thank you Semper Solaris! Sincerely, LMT and JMT Perris CA. read more

I had Semper Solaris install 38 panels and two tesla batteries. Everything seemed to be fine. One day, I noticed my panels were not working. I confirmed this by my Solar Edge app, the Tesla app, and the inverter itself. So after looking over the system, I noticed the electrical wiring they installed caught fire and burned a hole through an electrical box, thus almost catching my house on fire. I called them (June 30th), and they said it's a priority call due to a fire hazard, and they will have someone come out in a few days. A few days come and go, and then I receive a phone call on July 6th stating the soonest appointment is July 27th. I thought that was pretty ridiculous, so I eventually got a date around July 14th. Well, low and behold, after the damage, the inverter stopped working. So they had to order a new inverter. At first, they were saying they would fix it (inverter), and then Solar Edge said they were contracting out to another company that I couldn't get a hold of to make an appointment. It is everyone passing the job off to someone else. As far as i'm concerned its Semper Solaris issue since their workmanship caused the issue. I have been without solar for almost 2 months, and it's been a complete nightmare dealing with Semper Solaris and Solar Edge. I should have just stuck with Tesla themselves. read more

Highly recommend letting Semper Solaris, specifically Nate Bauer, give you a quote for your solar project. I loved the way they showed up in a mask in September but initially they told us it might take until December to complete. But despite permits needed from our city the job was totally completed in October. They gave us a great deal and we didn't have to pay payments for life. Also we were recommended by a very skeptic solar purchaser who said they were fabulous. They gave her a check for $500 for the recommendation. We found them to be honest, efficient and true to all their calculations. The first bill from Edison was a happy tearful moment. We love them so much not only because they are Military Veterans but also when our roof at our mobile beach home in Huntington Beach was leaking,, we searched the internet, and despite the fact that Home Advisors tried to take over our search, when Semper Solaris scrolled up, there was no question in our minds. Despite the a bit higher bid, we wanted the no hassle policy with permits and warranties and overall cost. Thank you Semper Solaris and Alex Thomson-Corrao for your hard work. We love you. Looking at the panel output specs and reputability of their company, Semper Solaris was a no brainer, but Rob Srinivas was very helpful, informative and made both my wife and I feel at ease through the entire process. He was not pushy at all, just there to help us however he could and that's what sold us. Once the paperwork was all done, they had the panels up in about a month which was much faster than we anticipated. They did a great job with installation, very professional looking and they even painted the wire conduit to match our house which I didn't even mind because the installation looks fantastic even without it. If I can edit the review, I will come back and add photos after I get daylight shots. read more

I have been searching for a long time for a company that does both AC and heater. I've shopped around, but Gary Derrick quickly responded to my request and worked with me since day one! Before we got into the different quotes, he shared with me the history and what Semper Solaris was about. I liked that I had plan options and he gave his honest opinion on his recommendation. Gary always returned my phone calls and worked with me on finalizing the deal! Gary and his team came to the rescue as my AC unit gave out on me and was able to expedite my repairs in a quick manner! He also followed up with me and practically walked me through the financial process. The financial team as also patient with me, thank you to Andrea Keller for all your help and patience! They also have other services available! Thank you once again! I really appreciate your business! read more

Are you looking to get a new AC or go solar? Let me tell you hands down to Semper Solaris. I'm so thankful I came across them on my IG. I called them and they sent out Jennifer Romero she is the best sales rep you can work with! Jennifer took her time to explain everything I needed to know about the company and what I was purchasing, I was interested in replacing my old AC and furnace but Jennifer was so patient and efficient I went with the solar as well. Jennifer tells you everything you need to know they even have a cool calculator where she can calculate what you use what you need and more! She is an open book. She has so much knowledge in what she does! and is not pushy at all and gives you time to think it over not like other sales rep where you feel pressured to make a decision right then and there. She answered all of my questions and bless her soul had her repeat it I don't know how many times just to make sure I felt comfortable in what I was getting my self into because things didn't end when she left my home I kept asking her questions by text/call and she was very responsive. You can tell she valued her customers. I really recommend Jennifer Romero as your sales rep. Not to mention every tech and installers I delt with during my project they were all so friendly and courteous! All I can say is Thank you for everything! I am one HAPPY camper! read more

It started with the sales person. He was not pushy. He explained the benefits of solar and how we could get it installed on our house in a very simple yet thorough way. A couple of days later the engineers arrived and measured the roof and designed the layout for the panels. A couple of days later we were informed permits were pulled and the panels were ordered. A few days later the installers arrived and started the job. The installers were extremely courteous and went about their job with us hardly knowing they were there. The job was completed in one day and was seamless. 2 days after the installation was completed the city inspector arrived and approved the install, and 2 days later we received permission to operate from SCE. We were on line and producing energy. All in all, start to finish, we couldn't be happier with the process. We were kept well informed with each step and what to expect next and the job was completed in less than a month. If you are considering Solar I highly recommend Semper Solaris. Not only do they offer competitive pricing they give you superior workmanship coupled with A+ customer service. And, you get the industries highest rated warranties. We are now enjoying the benefits of having solar. read more

One star is generous for this company. We had them come out to talk with us about their product. We are in the middle of refinancing our home so we could not move forward with signing a contract or installation. However, we gave a hold check to guarantee, if we decided to go with the company, a Tesla battery pack. We were PROMISED the check would never be cashed since it was just a hold. We were called multiple times by Semper Solaris about what our decision was and we continuously told them we were still waiting on the refi and would be in contact with the company if we decide to move forward. At one point we received a phone call that an inspector was coming over to look at the roof for installation and we had to tell them we were still refinancing our home and couldn't do anything. After more calls, we told them to destroy the hold check and we would contact them once the refi was completed. We thought we were done. Fast forward to Friday, October 25th and this company illegally cashed the $1000 hold check. At no point did we sign a contract with them. We told the company many times that we were not going to sign a contract with them. They had no legal right to cash the check. Now I'm dealing with my credit being in jeopardy over a bounced check while we're refinancing our home. Buyer beware with this scam of a company. We will tell anyone anywhere to avoid this solar company. read more
