I knew the Nightshade was one of the hardest trims to find, but from my very first phone call, Tyler never made me feel like finding one was out of reach. Rather than trying to steer me toward a different trim, he went above and beyond to locate and reserve the exact vehicle I wanted. What stood out most was how patient and genuine he was throughout the entire process. I had a lot of questions, and Tyler always took the time to answer them thoroughly and make sure I understood everything. I never felt rushed or pressured into making a decision. Communication was outstanding from the day I placed my deposit until the day I picked up my vehicle, including updates during the brief factory inspection hold. When I took delivery, Tyler didn't just hand me the keys. He helped me pair my phone, walked me through the vehicle's features, showed me how to open the fuel door, and even let me practice using the hands-free power liftgate until I felt comfortable. This is my second Toyota, and although I purchased my first one from a different dealership, I chose Sheehy Toyota of Laurel solely because of my experience with Tyler. After this experience, I can't imagine buying my next Toyota anywhere else. Tyler will definitely be my first call. Thank you, Tyler, for making what could have been a stressful process such an enjoyable one!

We first made an appointment and when we arrived, my husband waited over 2 hours for the attendant to tell him they couldn't see him that day. We drove an hour to Laurel because we had an appointment and we're treated like we didnt matter! My husband drove another hour and made a 2nd reservation at the Laurel location. When we came, we waited another 2 hours. Then when I went back to the desk to check the status of our appointment, they said they may not be able to see us today. They did not keep us updated , nor cared how long we drive to get there, and that we had an appointment. Once we walked to our car to leave, they decided to take the white couple that was awaiting behind us. We knew because when we started our car, we saw the attendant get then ready for a test drive. This was the worst customer service ever and I DO NOT RECOMMEND this location to anyone. Very inconsiderate and no customer service! We told the Laurel CarMax location that we actually had a check to purchase a car with and didn't need a loan, and they didn't care. My husband and I ended up going to a dealership, making an appointment, and actually being seen at the time we made the appointment. We walked out of there with our car!

The finance manager Mike J. was very nice and made sure I was able to get financing that I needed, although I didn't have top-notch credit history. That's where the positive interaction ends. I purchased the car on a Sunday as is. Because the car came from the Baltimore location and it was after hours, I didn't even think I should test drive the car because I trusted Eastern's not to sell me a car with issues, however that is not the case. As I drove off the lot and hit one bump, the entire bottom of the car rattled. It felt like serious suspension issues, or something under the car. I did let Yanna P know the very next morning. After some back and forth for almost two weeks I was told my extended warranty was active. I was confused because I felt i didn't do anything to the car so what does the extended warranty have to do with it. Nevertheless, I made an appointment and have to pay $189 for the car to be looked at, and it appears I may have to fit the bill for the work that needs to be done if the issue is not covered. DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE AS IS without test driving the car first from Eastern's. I put my trust in a dealership I thought wouldn't sell me a messed up car, but they did. To make matters worse, the transporter who drove the car from the Baltimore location never told Yanna P. about the rattling noise and possible issues before she gave me the keys, or if he did I was never made aware. In the end it appears everyone just wanted a sale with no thought of the consumer experience. Too bad, I was really excited about working with this dealership now that they have a service center, but instead I will try to deter anyone from going there. Definitely would recommend CarMax or Auto Nation since they do a quality check on cars they are reselling.

They took advantage of me and sold me the car with only 1 key that is cracked, I can't clean my windshield in the back due to clogged lines. Today I paid for a diagnosis on why my AC never worked and it's an 1800$ repair.. the AC condenser and there's no freon! They lied to me when I bought the car and told me that they had fixed the AC and belts and my mechanic said there is no way they fixed that. It was broken when I bought it 3 months ago. Don't purchase anything from here. Go to a legitimate auto mall. They have no conscience. They will sell a broken car to a senior citizen just to get it off the lot. They also sold it to me with a broken gas lid so I couldn't pump the gas all the way in frederick! With no one to help me in sight on a country roadway.

They didn't disclose that the truck needed new tires. They offered that I buy tires from a distributor at a discounted rate, but they are underrated tires for the truck. They also installed a cheap aftermarket head unit that did not work. So I had to spend about $700 to put a new head unit in. The transmission and leaking seal cost me approximately $4,000. New tires will cost me about $2,300 This dealership is horrible. Do not buy from them. Take your money elsewhere. I spoke with the "manager" and he refused to take responsibility for the dealerships negligence. I know in California, the tires would have been replaced immediately before sale. Avoid this place at all cost.

The company charged me $89.95 diagnostic fee and advised me in writing that the problem was low on refrigerant due to the compressor leaking; needing replacement. Nothing was mentioned about any other repairs being needed. On June 10, 2022 I returned and authorized the repairs on my car and upon completion of the work, went home to find the repairs not fixing the problem. I subsequently called Performance back and told them that it is not fixed and arranged to come back on June 13th and waited approximately two hours for them to fix it. When I got the car back and drove home, it was evident that the unit was still not blowing cold air and called them back and brought my car back in on June 16th and again on June 30th. Spending all total about 8 hours of my time waiting for PROPER repairs to be made. Never being told what was wrong at any time no given a receipt for what repairs were made after the compressor work was done. Finally, I sent an email on July 2nd to them and followed up Tuesday July 5th with a phone call where I talked to the dispatcher and told her that I want my money back and I don't have confidence in the shop. Now they say because the car is old the system should be replaced but they can not state specifically what is wrong. When it was cooler out there was slight cool air at first. Now it is HOT air. Beware of this company as this is highly unethical and unprofessional and not the way customers should be treated. When you give an estimate to fix something, EVERYTHING should be in the estimate; not coming in after the fact and try to b.s. your way through a botched repair.

On June 30, 2026, I traded in my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee, made a $500 down payment, and purchased a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Limited. The sales staff--Will, Elliott, Marcus, Lonnie, and Sam--were courteous and professional throughout the process, which I genuinely appreciated. Unfortunately, the vehicle was another story. Before leaving the dealership, I discovered several issues: a non-working key fob, a third-row seat that wouldn't fold, a blown subwoofer, cosmetic defects, and missing sales paperwork. I was assured these issues would be corrected. Just days later, while traveling with my young son for the Fourth of July holiday, the check engine light came on. A diagnostic at a Jeep dealership revealed an engine misfire, an intake valve issue, corrosion in the key fob, and evidence of rodent activity under the hood. I immediately returned the vehicle because I no longer felt it was safe to drive. Over the next two weeks, I made multiple trips to the dealership, took leave from work, test-drove replacement vehicles, and repeatedly waited for promised follow-up calls that never came. Communication became inconsistent. After such frustrations, I purchased another vehicle from another trusted dealership. Despite being told my contract would be canceled, I attempted to return the loaner vehicle only to find my trade-in had already been sold. I was told to return the next day to speak with someone else. Keep in mind, I have had the loaner for three weeks without a replacement vehicle and my creditor had not been paid or informed. The next day, I called ahead and was told the sale of my trade-in had been canceled. I could pick up my 2018 Jeep, sign the paperwork to cancel my purchase, and receive a refund of my down payment. However, when I arrived, the employee I had spoken with was not there, the person handling refunds had left, and no one seemed to know why I was there. After explaining the situation again, I received my refund, signed the cancellation paperwork, and was given only one of the two keys I had turned in as part of my trade. I declined to sign the key acknowledgment because I was not receiving everything I had surrendered. I was told the person who handled the keys was also not present. Although I eventually got my original vehicle back (without two keys) and my down payment refunded, the time, stress, and inconvenience this process caused were unnecessary. I understand pre-owned vehicles can have normal wear and cosmetic imperfections, but serious mechanical problems, rodent infestation, repeated communication breakdowns, and multiple unnecessary trips to the dealership are unacceptable. While I appreciated the professionalism of several individual employees, the overall experience was frustrating, disorganized, and far below the level of service I expected. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves both its vehicle inspection process and its communication with customers. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend purchasing a vehicle from this dealership.
