First, with a positive, the follow up and customer service is great. It has to be, due to the following comments listed. 2. Moved a 1 bedroom apt( bedframe , mattress, dresser , 2 TVs , and a sofa), and it took 5 hours , with a locked elevator , in the same building, separated by 2 floors.Everything additional was boxed or bagged. No loose items. 3. They attempted to change the charges the day of the move , even though we had confirmed less than 24 hours prior. Claimed the 3rd person Was due to their double booking, snow , etc . And the additional man would speed up the process . Did i mention this simple 1 bedroom move took 5 hours for an in building, one bedroom transfer? Does that seem expedited ? Everything was a group effort, and teaching moment. this slowed the move down. For example, it Took 20 minutes of discussion to figure out how to disassemble a bed frame efficiently . Constantly going back and forth to the moving truck on the clock ( for what idk ) . If not watched , disappearing for 15-20 minutes at a time . 4. I was advised that I could leave my dresser items in the drawers, and they could move them efficiently. I now have to find someone to take my dresser apart, due to items some how making their way to inside unreachable areas insiders dresser. 5. I have to find someone to reassemble my sofa. They didn't put it back together. 6. You're charged 30 minutes to and from . So, you owe an hour before they start . They didn't have to leave the property, but charged me fuel . How do you charge someone fuel, and time for arrival, and departure ? Seems like the rate is only labor . You're also charged for any items used to rap to transport furniture . The intimation that they try to give you when you book is that is inclusionary. 7. With a discount, A DISCOUNT, this move cost me $1,000. Between the random 3rd man up charge , wrapping items for the large furniture , fuel charge , insurance that they make you cover that they don't disclose until the last minute that is almost $200 additional ... 8. Moved my items into the hallway, and left them there unattended while moving. 9. Even if you pay by phone, they want you to write your credit card information on a random piece of paper. It's a hard NO, for me. Yes, I signed, and let them go about their business. It's exhausting to keep debating obvious discrepancies, and hidden fees during a move which is a top 3 stressor in general. Just .... Don't . Use someone else .

I booked my move a week in advance and paid a $100 deposit after being told it would guarantee my moving date and secure my spot. Then, only 3 days before my scheduled move, the manager -- I believe his name was David -- called to tell me they were fully booked for the entire week and that my move would either need to be rescheduled or canceled altogether. I made it very clear from the beginning that my apartment lease ends on the 31st and that I needed to move before then. Had this company been honest about the fact that paying a deposit did not actually guarantee service, I would have hired another moving company much earlier. Now I'm left scrambling at the last minute, despite having everything planned out. I also have to report to work in another state on the 1st, so this has created a major inconvenience and unnecessary stress. To make matters worse, speaking with them on the phone was a complete disaster. The communication was unprofessional, disorganized, and unacceptable. They agreed to refund the $100 deposit, but that does not make up for the inconvenience, stress, and potential consequences this situation may cause me. If I receive penalties from my landlord for a late move-out or face any employment-related consequences because of this company's failure to honor their commitment, I will absolutely be exploring all possible legal and consumer protection options.

She was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and patient (I changed my destination address once lol). The price quoted was reasonable; I was offered 2 movers or 3 movers (different prices of course). I picked the 3 movers and I'm glad I did! The team showed up shortly after 8a (though to be fair the email said between 8 and 9a). They came with a 26 foot truck, shrink wrap, furniture blankets, tape, and bubble wrap. In all it took about 4 hours to move me from a 2nd floor 2 bedroom apartment to a 3rd floor 2 bedroom down the road. They really are workhorses - somehow they were all able to trek up and down the stairs repeatedly without seeming winded at all (which is incredible bc I went up and down the stairs without anything over 8 pounds yesterday probably 46 times and was EXHAUSTED). I'd highly recommend AAM for their care, expeditiousness, fair price, and friendly service!!

I found Haul Bros through a recommendation in a local Facebook group. I was hesitant at first since I hadn't heard of them before, but from the first interaction, I felt at ease. Sayed, the owner, was very professional and responsive. He answered all my questions, gave me a clear estimate based on the inventory I sent, and didn't try to upsell me or rush the process. He even followed up the day before the move to confirm everything and offered advice on how to prep items to save time. The crew arrived right on time at 8:00 AM, wearing branded shirts and ready to go. I was immediately impressed by how organized they were. They walked through the house with me first, asked thoughtful questions, and then got straight to work. They brought everything they needed-moving blankets, dollies, tools, shrink wrap, you name it One of the guys even brought an extra mattress cover for me since I didn't have one. That attention to detail meant a lot. They were incredibly careful with my furniture. I had a few delicate items like a large mirror from my grandmother, and a glass coffee table and they were wrapped and secured better than I've seen with any other movers. Not a single scratch or ding. They also handled my washer and dryer (which I was nervous about), disassembled them carefully, and reinstalled them at the new place. What really stood out was how hardworking and respectful the team was. No standing around, no cutting corners, and no bad attitudes. They worked steadily the whole time, even when it started drizzling in the afternoon. They laid down runners to protect the floors, helped with last-minute items I forgot to pack, and asked me multiple times if there was anything else they could do to help. They even helped move a few items into my garage that weren't part of the original list-at no extra charge. Once we got to my new place, they reassembled everything, placed furniture exactly where I wanted it, and double checked that everything was good before leaving. The whole move took just under 6 hours, and the final price was right in line with the original estimate. No hidden fees, no surprises-just honest, quality service. To be honest, I was expecting the usual moving day stress, but Haul Bros completely changed that experience for me. They were reliable, professional, affordable, and kind. They are a beautiful family and so, so nice (courteous, friendly and respectful). My move was smooth from beginning to end. Not one piece of furniture was damaged. I was very impressed with the way they handled everything. I already had enough on my mind (so it was nice not to have any added stress). I didn't have to worry or keep watching them as they moved the furniture. One of my sofas was too large to go into the elevator. So Sayed and Samir had to carry it up 3 flights of stairs. I appreciated that. They will go above and beyond to get the job done. When it was over, I was very pleased and satisfied. Thank you again for your help. They were flexible with us as we had to reschedule due to weather, and had several complicated moves that were handled very well. As with any move, we took care ourselves to wrap things, communicate our needs and expectations, but I would do that with any mover. Ask questions, clarify and explain what you want. All furniture was wrapped carefully with moving blankets and secured and all breakables were treated with care. I've never seen a team of people work so hard!

They backed their truck into my retaining wall, immediately pissing off my neighbors before a single box was moved. They then showed up with half the crew promised, which should have been my first clue about what was coming next. What should have been a straightforward move from a 3-bedroom home took 13 hours, and they still couldn't finish--forcing them to come back the next morning, while I was under extreme pressure due to a pending home sale. With 18 hours to be out of my house, Zip used the situation to triple the price, leaving me completely cornered. At one point, the police showed up at my door to question one of the movers for 30 minutes. Later, they left a single worker alone for SIX HOURS to finish the job. Completely unprofessional and unsafe. Once my belongings were picked up, I received zero updates for six weeks. No proactive communication. No tracking. No accountability. I had to escalate through three different people just to get basic help or information. And when all was said and done, Zip did absolutely nothing to make it right--no refund, no meaningful apology, no remediation--other than claiming they fired the person who originally quoted me, which does nothing for the damage, stress, or financial harm they caused. This was easily one of the most stressful and mishandled service experiences I've ever had, at a time when reliability mattered most. If you value transparency, professionalism, or basic human decency during a move--look elsewhere.

Don't give this business your time or money because Susan will try and gaslight you and make a 2-3 day move all one day so she can get as much money from you. Then if something goes wrong it's your fault for not telling her something when you gave her all the information she needed. But she didn't do her job so it's your fault! And I contacted the person (Steve) who helped me out (not you) during this time so we could see when it would be a good time for both of us.     I submitted the claim for the 60 cents per pound like a week ago or so, then left the last review…read more I just got a call from Eugene, the owner of the business. It was pretty pleasant overall. He apologized for all the inconvenience and gave some of the reasoning as to why the delay had happened, all of which was fair. He addressed more of my concerns in my original review. From what I understood, the carriers are third-party, so they can't really control delays. He understood my frustration about the refund being only about $24 and asked how much would I think is fair. I said $200. He said that's completely fair and ended up zelling me the money right after the phone call. Obviously the move itself was a bit frustrating, but this I think more than made up for it and it was super validating feeling like he understood where I was coming from. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the conversation and the resolution.

We were told that there may be people to help in the next state or there may not be, it could just be Oscar unloading the 26' truck himself. Seems like they pulled two guys off the street to help unload. They were clearly not as experienced as the first guys were, nor arrived dressed like they were ready to unload a truck. The one said he twisted his ankle but also had unlaced loose tennis shoes on... They go off hoping they can find someone in the next state to unload the truck with them. When reserving with Yuriy he said there would be three guys loading, traveling and unloading. That's not the case. But it's what he sold the cost of it all on, he said they were barely making money from the move by the time the three guys traveled and stayed for possibly up to two nights- three total day move. I had another quote at $4500 but Yuiry said there would be no way because of the above mentioned reason. Not the case at all. The move took two days, one night stay. Yuriy was meh, he's a sales guy so that's expected. The move was $6K, I hope they compensated Oscar fairly for all the work he did. I'm only doing this review because Oscar was really great to work with. The company's process seemed sketchy.
