Best nail salon on the beach. I always feel taken care of when I walk in. Blanca and VV are the BEST for nail art. They can seriously achieve any look for you. I won't go anywhere else. Appointments need to be made in advance, I don't think they take walk ins. I'd also like to give a special shout out to Zabrina, an incredibly generous customer that was in the salon last time I got my nails done. She overheard me mentioning that I was doing my nails for my upcoming wedding and insisted on paying for my mani pedi. Zabrina, I was so incredibly touched by this act of generosity! Went in on a recommendation. They have no idea how to do a guys pedicure. She was afraid to cut the nails short enough and no idea how to cut the cuticle. Then asked to cut out the ingrown nails and had no idea how to even do that I left having to go to a place because the ingrown mail was not removed. The nails were also not cut short as asked or even. This person seemed like she needed more training. A lot more. I guess those that come here are not aware that their is better out there. read more

This place is super cute! but somethings to need to be fixed or updated like the towels they use, and the tools for nails especially. I noticed they had rust on them, and the towels definitely need replacing. During covid especially - cleanliness needs to be really important I'm learning I don't enjoy going to places where the nail techs also do the waxing, they always do one better than the other and my wax was not as great as my mani/pedi But all in all I'm happy with my services, my nails are super cute! The girls are very kind and welcoming, I appreciated that and felt cared for, it was easy to make an appointment. After messaging through Yelp, we confirmed our appointment for my daughter at 1:30pm and I gave the owner my contact information as requested. At 1:00pm the next day (day of the appointment, I messaged again and told her we are eating next door and we'll see her at 1:30pm. She messaged back..."sorry, but that appointment is already taken". Really? The excuse they gave was that I never confirmed. She said I needed to do it through the app...which she never told me. Nor did she call or text me to let me know, if that is their procedure. So, so disappointed by this place, especially because I thought I had found my new spot in Miami. Everyone here seems so nice and friendly! I decided to treat myself to a manicure and regretted it. My experience here was one that truly upset me. I called on a Tues not realizing that they were closed to make an appointment but actually did hear back that day which I appreciated. They made an effort to still maintain appts despite not being open for business. I made my appt and let the girl know that I wasn't sure exactly what service I required bc I'm not familiar with anything more than just a standard manicure and gel. I called the next day about 30 minutes before my appt to let them know I was going to be 10 min late. Instead of having me just come in, they moved my appointment to 30 minutes later which was a bit of an inconvenience bc I had some thing later, but I wanted to be accommodating given that I wouldn't be able to be at the exact time of my appt. I get there on time for my new appt and I'm told it will be about 10 minutes waiting. 45 minutes into my new appointment time, which was 30 minutes after my original appointment time, I had still not been seen. Cannot imagine if I had made it on time to my original appointment. I expressed frustration because I had a commitment later and they told me that they might not be able to see me if I had a time constraint. This was extremely frustrating, but I rearranged my plans in order to stay since I was already there and had spent at this point over an hour working with this appt. While I was waiting I showed the owner what I wanted - few images to give her an idea of the design and then 1 to show her the shape. I told her that if it was too expensive given that I'm not working, I would go with simple gel. She said that what I wanted would be acrylics and told me that the price was $65 (over double gel), but I decided to go for it. The entire time I was waiting, the couple that was there was yelling across the salon to each other to a point where everyone else in the salon was looking at each other. When they left everyone breathed a sigh of relief and the people who worked there were talking about It and how uncomfortable it made everyone. I was frustrated that instead of asking them to keep their voices down and not disturb everyone else in the salon, the workers chose to instead to make everybody else uncomfortable around them. Finally started getting my nails done and when the technician asked the owner, who had explained the price to me, for white to do the details, the owner came over and told me that it was more to do a design. I asked her why she had told me a price before when I had very clearly showed her the designs that I wanted and all she said was that any salon would tell me that a design is extra. I said I understood but that I had specifically asked her the price for what I wanted and she had not given me an additional price that she was now telling me. At this point I already had the acrylics glued to my nails and didn't really have a choice because what I was paying for was half done. If I had to get a solid color which as you can see from my pictures is not too different from what I have gotten with gel, I would have just gotten the gel which is a much cheaper option especially given my circumstances. She did not offer an alternative and basically left me with no choice but to get a solid color. I was very overwhelmed by the situation overall starting with how late it was, having to move my plans around, and how uncomfortable the previous guests had been and now being faced with no choice but to either pay more or not have the design that I had half already paid for, that I quite literally started to cry. When I tell you that the entire salon (including a guest that did ask me if I was OK) could tell that I was crying I am not exaggerating. However I am also not exaggerating but the only person that offered any type of acknowledgment was a nail technician who just gently told me it was ok. Everyone else at the salon IGNORED me, while I sobbed, NEVER apologized for the confusion or offered any type of alternative. Just that it was normal to be charged more for a design, which she knew I didn't know and never told me from the start. The worst part was, I got home to see that both my polish change on my toes and the acrylics themselves, which again, were a design and shape I could have gotten with basic gel, were poorly done. There is no excuse for the way they treated me and I would have gone back to have them fix something that cost me more than I could afford had I felt more comfortable, but they made me feel truly terrible there. I had such high hopes since everyone had seemed so sweet, but ignoring a customer clearly distressed and on top of that doing a terrible job on the nails is one that I cannot excuse. I truly wish they had been more empathetic and tried to work with me on a solution instead of being cold toward me. read more

Asked for a tortuous tip and it didn't look anything close to what it was supposed too. Random dots and not the same colour. She tried to fix it and still didn't get it right. I was skeptical at first given my experience at another nail salon but C&C not only didn't disappoint, it was one of the best gel + acrylic natural (ie my own nails) manis I have ever gotten. My nail technician was Veronica who is frankly an artist through and through. Her technique is flawless and her attention to detail is amazing. Honestly, the main reason I'm writing this review is because I want to bring awareness to this. It could happen at any salon, but unfortunately it happened to me at this one. I got Apres Gel done on my nails with the extensions since my natural nails were too short. I had to come in a total of 4 times to manage to get a manicure, pedicure & then a color change since the initial white color I got did not last more than a week. (They're scheduling isn't great) they were running late the day I went & I didn't have time to wait. But all in all, the reason I am extremely upset is because after 3 weeks of having them fall off, break, chip, you name it, I went back to get them removed because I couldn't deal with it anymore (had to pay additional to get them removed- total of $160 was spent on just hands and feet) now my nails are literally breaking apart, down the middle, on the sides, they have never been this brittle it's honestly the worst experience I've had getting my nails done. The only positive thing I can say is that the nail tech was nice and did her best, then again I feel like that's their job, so you never know...she recommended I try acrylics next so they don't fall off as easily! They dont do any callus removal in their pedicure. Who goes to a nail salon and does not want callus removed? The nail tech also did not do a great job at clipping the nails. Poor customer servise and poor service! Twice I went there- first time for gel manicure and one more time for keratin treatment. The gel lasted for 4 days instead of at least 10 -14 days as it should! Decided to just let it go because I'm too busy and had no time to drive all the way. So I let it slide. Second time called to schedule for Keratin treatment. Had my iwn jeratin just needed for them at apply the treatment. Was told a price range over the phone, by the manager, with max price depending on my hair length (which in just below shoulders). Which i was fine with. However when arrived there, the hairdresser said she is not willing to work for less than double the price I was told over the phone! WTF? Would have never drove all the way, payed for parking just to be told a whole different price! And more than twice as much! The manager was like I'm sorry the hair dresser charges more!I was nit accepting that- asked why she gave me a price rage and committed to a max price upon which I decided to come? She started making up excuses that she actually meant something else. I made it very clear what is required and she confirmed they've done it before with their definite price range. That is just deception and disrespect. Would have never come for that price! They charge hefty for their poor quality servises and on top treat customers disrespectfully. Booked an appointment for my daughter and I to have our gel removed and re applied. We are over on holiday so I just went for the salon with the best rating. Very glad that I went here. The ladies sorry didn't get their names were friendly and chatty and totally lovely. The work they did on our nails was professionally done and we are extremely happy with the end result.
