I had an appointment for a mani-pedi today at my favorite nail salon. I have been going here for quite some time now because I'm fond of the owners, Silvia and Avi, who are very caring, friendly and aim to please their customers. My daughter also comes here regularly for her mani-pedis. The salon is very clean and neat and nicely arranged. They have a good selection of nail polish colors in stock always. Today I was very pleased with Emily and Rosie, who I request each time I go. Both of them are top-notch in doing a great job on your nails. Emily did my finger nails today in lavender with chrome over the top. They came out beautifully. Rosie did my pedi with the same colors to match my nails. Thank you, ladies. I love the look! Great ambiance here! Eva at Aloha Nail Spa was amazing! I chose this salon because it was directly across the street from my hotel (MB Trademark by Wyndham), so the convenience couldn't be beat--and I'm so glad I went. The prices were great, the salon is super cute, and Eva even brought out this fancy little spread of good smelling products and scrubs with REAL flowers! She did a wonderful job on my nails. There are a few things that were great: 1) open on a Sunday 2) takes walk-ins 3) nice people. Unfortunately the pedicure was pretty bad and not at all inexpensive, so I'm glad I could get something done today, but I'd never go back there. The lady who did the service was very nice and the tools were clean, but there was very little exfoliation and almost no massage. I was in and out in under a half hour. I always go to Aloha Nails when in Miami. I am definitely someone who likes the basic manicure pedicure. When I am feeling a bit spicy I may get gel nails. I have always been able to either walk in or get a same day or next day appointment. The service is always friendly. Even when I choose the special, $50 mani and pedicure, the girls take their time and my nails look wonderful. I've also had the pedicure specials and let me tell you, I feel like a queen during the entire progress. The good massage is and will always be my favorite part. (by the way we already booked this appointment) so then the lady working at the front noticed my friends mom and said "don't you work at the nail salon close to hear?" (yes she works at a nail saLon already) and her mom said "yes I do" and then the lady started saying "why do you want to get your nails done?" and it wasn't even for her mom it was for me and my friend. then She made a big deal about it and she was giving my friends mom a lot of attitude towards us. This is a tiny place in a shopping center and is so underrated. I used to drive to Coconut Grove to get my nails done and on a whim. I decided to go and try this place out because it was so close to my apartment. I will never go to another nail salon again. They do an amazing job, I've gone three times each time with different people and each time better than the next. Be aware that it does take a long time about an hour and a half to get my nails done with dip. They are very thorough and take their time and really work magic on your nails. Flew in from AZ & this is the closest nail place to the hotel. Easy enough to get an appointment- they prefer that. Really nice Man (owner? Up front) & nail techs are very kind. I dont think they use quality products or top/base coat. I also don't know if they even used a top coat as I wasn't watching. Our vacay took us farther up the coast line that day, or I would have gone back. Both toes & fingers polish flaked off within 24 hours. Of note, They will do a same time mani pedi - & charge you an extra $20 for this for the convenience. Bottom line - bring in your own polish or get a gel mani/pedi. They are very kind. read more

Came here twice while staying in Miami Beach. It's a typical no frills nail place but the technicians really take their time and are thorough. They have an extensive collection of colors and newer pedicure massage chairs. $50 for regular mani / pedi (in cash, slightly higher for card). Slightly high coming from NYC. This would be the price for somewhere a bit nicer in NYC but given the time the technicians take it's worth the price. Recommend bringing own top coat if doing regular polish as they use generic sally Hanson which doesn't have as great of a shine. read more

Although I was taken immediately, as there were no other patrons in the shop, my experience was less than satisfactory. The only person who spoke or understood English was the manager, and he was very accommodating. The tech cut my toe and didn't get it to stop bleeding. The manager had to get the antibiotic ointment which the tech didn't offer. My toe is now infected. I'm wondering if her tools had even been sanitized since I never saw her take them out of a sanitized bag, and she did not understand when asked. The polish on my fingers and toes weren't polished up to the cuticles and look like over a week to 10 days growth although it has only been 3 days. Will not go back. read more

I was in Miami visiting from Chicago on April 5th and 6th, and needed a pedicure. I passed Aloha Nails and decided let me go in to get a polish change. Everyone in this shop was friendly. The owner (Sylvia) ended up giving me a pedicure instead. She was so friendly and I never had someone take the time and patience giving me a pedicure. She made sure cuticles were cut properly and the polish was precise. Best pedicure ever and I've been getting one since 1988!!! read more

This is the most solid nail spot in the area thanks to Jenny. I will text her when I need an appointment and she is always accommodating. Prices are typical for the area. They do not charge a fee for using a credit card which I have seen some places do. The place isn't anything fancy and they do charge for add ins to pedicures. Jenny also brings her own supplies that are kept immaculately sanitized and clean so I never feel worried about germs. I recommend this place is you want a simple mani and pedi with Jenny! I really dislike doing bad reviews but this was a bad experience. Upon walking in the shop, I told the staff I wanted a full set with gel polish. I was seated, and shortly after the nail tech started on my nails. The nail tech was Spanish speaking only which put a slight wedge in communication however, I wanted something very simple and there were other staff that translated for her. My nails were prepped and the tech attempted to put tips on my nails but didn't have the correct sizes for my nails. She then started clipping bigger sized tips to fit my nails. Once she got the tips on, she started applying the acrylic but she appeared to be having a hard time. The brush she used was very small which made her acrylic application very thin uneven and not to mention it was taking her a VERY long time. I'm use to nail techs using #8 or bigger brushes. I use #8 when I do my own nails as well. After the acrylic was applied she started filing and that's when I stopped her. I had someone translate to her I no longer wanted the service and wanted her to remove the acrylic. I knew she wasn't going to finish in time (we had a dinner reservation and needed to go) and by this time we had been there about 2 hrs and they were not looking good. Once this was communicated to the tech, a lady stepped in who appeared to be the manager or owner (not sure) and she caught an attitude with me. I expressed to her I was unhappy with the application of the acrylic, the time it was taking to complete the service, and the fact that the tech was using a small brush and appeared to be struggling with the acrylic. I referenced that the acrylic appeared to be no good (I literally watched the tech struggle for an hr or more). There was a back and forth between myself and the lady who then said "oh you're probably use to the Asians and how they do it/the brushes they use). I told her that may be true but I too use a bigger brush when applying acrylic to my own nails. I've never seen a tech use a brush that small for acrylic-- only for polygel. The end result was lumps of acrylic still on my nails because she didn't fully remove it. I compensated the tech for her time because she tried however, I wouldn't go back there. read more
