I had an extremely upsetting experience here that left me in tears. If you happened to witness this confrontation, please message me!! I came in for a dip powder manicure with removal of my previous dip. At checkout, I was charged more than expected. I politely asked what the additional charge was for, and instead of explaining, both the manager and technician immediately became defensive. The manager immediately said he was only responsible for charging what the tech claims the service was. The technician claimed it was for "shaping" my nails, even though she had only lightly filed them in the same shape they already were. I was a bit taken aback by their reactions, but said I understood and was just asking them to explain. After reviewing their price list, I noticed the shaping fee was only listed under acrylic services, not dip powder. I went back to ask for clarification. The manager sighed, snatched the price list from my hand, said he was going to show me where it was and scanned almost the entire pamphlet and finally pointed at "shape" under the "acrylic" section and raised his voice to "say it doesn't MATTER" when I explained I did not get acrylic nails. The manager blamed the technician for the charge, while the technician blamed the business's pricing. Neither acknowledged that the fee wasn't listed for the service I received or that I had never been told there would be an additional charge. The situation escalated unnecessarily. I never refused to pay, demanded a refund, or accused anyone of wrongdoing--I only wanted an explanation. Instead, the technician insulted me, threw $5 at me, suggested I "needed medical help," and repeatedly implied I couldn't afford the service. She then told me "EVERYONE pays additional for shaping, why should you not?" Instead of acknowledging her role in this and suggesting I was at fault. I wish I had just left, but I was so taken aback and processing that I could not think straight. She turned to the manager and said "give her a refund since she's clearly here to just take my money. I don't want her money, I don't need it like she clearly does." After refusing to acknowledge me, the manager then told me that if I wanted a refund, the technician would first have to remove my manicure because "this is America, nothing is free." The entire exchange happened in front of a salon full of customers and was humiliating. My anxiety was on high, fully questioning myself and what I did wrong to elicit such a vitriolic confrontation over a question. I turned to look at the ROW of people staring at us from their pedicure chairs and quietly asked if I had been unreasonable and thankfully the two ladies closest to me immediately said "no." As silly as it sounds, I needed this confirmation because I still cannot make sense of what happened and why they acted the way they did. Mistakes and miscommunications happen, but treating a respectful customer this way is completely unacceptable. Based on this experience, I won't be returning. read more

i'm so done with this place. I've been going here for 6 to 7 years. Always playing with prices like it's some kind of game. I used to go every few weeks for my set and pedicure. Now actually good that saved me so much money! I was just there for a gel pedicure and I asked for a 30 minute foot . I had to stop the woman because she wasn't massaging me. She was just rubbing in the lotion. I can rub lotion I have like neuropathy I really wanted help. So I stopped her I swear to you she probably massaged me for 10 minutes yet. When we get to the register, she has the nerve to charge full price on top of the 20% tip. I'm done. I asked for the owner. A girl said she was the manager when I told her I feel like you guys are always messing prices and some of us are local good loyal clients, she laughed at me. I am a 30 year resident of Miami Beach; retired architect and college professor. I called this business and asked for a person who had been recommended to me for a pedicure and manicure combo. He could not come to the phone but I heard him say out loud from the back of the room: "I do not do men." I have refrained from mentioning his name out of decency, but I felt very indecently treated. The worst nail salon experience I've had in 30 years. The staff was ill-mannered, aggressive, and insulting, and the service was virtually nonexistent. Anywhere else in the world, a basic manicure includes--at a minimum--cuticle cleaning, nail shaping, polish, and often a bit of moisturizing. At this salon, for $25, you get neither cuticle care nor moisturizer... and certainly not a smile or a relaxing atmosphere. To have your cuticles trimmed, you have to pay an extra $10. It's unheard of. And that's not even the worst part. When I simply tried to understand how they could offer half of a standard service for the same price as other places, the staff immediately raised their voices, constantly cut me off, and refused to engage in any discussion. Then, one of the technicians barged into the conversation and called me a "bitch"--right in front of my daughter. They also tried to charge me $90 for a set of tips with polish--no cuticle care, no moisturizing, nothing. When I asked for a justification, they replied: "Oh, wait--our mistake. It's actually $75." Even at $75, the price is completely unjustified given the level of service provided. In total, I paid $155 for: * a gel manicure for myself (with no cuticle care or moisturizing), * a pedicure for my daughter (same issue), * a set of tips, * and insults as a bonus. I'm not someone who complains easily, nor am I obsessed with prices. But letting myself be treated like an idiot in a filthy salon where the staff treats customers like cattle? Absolutely not. The experience was a bit pushy, and rushed . There are no chairs for husband , or extras to sit and wait, very odd!! They offered lots of colors and options, the UV gel nails were the worst I have ever gotten. They are thick, uneven and the tips were put on crooked, really embarrassing. My pedicure lasted all of an hour and the polished wiped off. I went back 1 1/2 hours later to get the polish reapplied and they were extremely rude and didn't want to fix their mess. My daughter's pedicure and manicure also washed off with in the first hour. I'm not sure what product they used but I have never had that happen with polish. I will not return, and don't recommend it. read more

I have been to this salon six times and I really wanted it to be my new spot. I am new to the area and thought I had found it. I had a great first visit, and even posted a good review about them But since the, nothing has been the same. I get the same service every time (same nail shape and same color) and the pricing has never been the same. I am aware of salons gimmicks and their upcharges based on different nail shapes or repairs. But at this place it goes beyond that. They give you a "base price" for the service (before nail shape selection or repairs). One nail tech included everything and upcharged me only for the nail shape. The other didn't upcharge me for the same nail shape because it was the "basic square". Today I was upcharged for having my nails cut shorter. She told me that shortening the nails was not included in the base price. And no one can tell me what the base price includes either. I finally asked for some clarification so I could understand the pricing model. I felt it was fair to do so. As a customer, I should be able to know how I am going to be charged. The response? " If you don't like it here then go somewhere else" Bella - the one who told me to go elsewhere is an excellent tech. The last few times I went, I made appts with her but they double booked her so I was assigned to other techs. That is how I learned about the pricing issues. I really wanted to love this place because I like her work. But unfortunately she couldn't care less and told me go to go elsewhere. I tried explaining my side kindly and calmly and yet she couldn't explain what services were included in the base price and/ or why I was never charged to cut my nails short before. Instead she scalded me for not coming sooner and let my nails grow long. Needless to say, I won't return. I know I will find another salon with better customer experience and they will get my five star review. read more

My nails were a genuine disaster and the assigned manicurist, Bear, went above and beyond to make sure my nails were clean (I had a bloody accident) and just perfect. If you want nails with a design DONT GO HERE! They will tell you that they can do a design that they can't actually do because they are money hungry, and at the last minute tell you they don't have to colors you wanted. You walk in this place and instantly they're speaking in their language to up charge you on whatever service you are about to embark on. I had a full set of almond shaped medium length nails put on and I was charged $77 without the tip which was done by Jasmine. When I came back the second time to have them touched up why was I charged $77 again as if I got a new set? This has repeatedly been happening, where you walk in the nail salon knowing the price and you leave with a whole different charge as if they up charge everything. Then speak in their language where you don't know what they're saying. My last experience there I came in to have my nail's fixed a few days later because they were done by Jasmine, horrible job, bad quality, and when I wanted her to fix them, she caused chaos in the salon. The manager came by the nail station talking to her in there, Vietnamese language to the point where I said, why are you talking in your language in front of me.? I would appreciate if you speak in English because it gives a bad impression like you're talking about customers. So the manager started then speak English in front of me because she knew she was in the wrong . Let me add that Jasmine had the nerve to tell me as I'm explaining to her about the terrible job she did that let me quote her "there's nothing more to discuss her, I will fix and they'll get fixed, looked right at me in the face". I immediately reacted to her disrespect for me the customer and had an issue on how dare you speak to me the customer in this manner. I was in town and needed a pedicure because my big toe nails chipped. This location is huge and they get a lot of service. Hannah was able to fix them and make them look so good. A gel pedicure is about $65. Well worth it. Great service and nice people. read more

I live in North Beach, near the slew of nail salons on 73rd st, but go out of my way to come here to this place because it's a clean and beautiful facility, the staff is friendly and SMILING (wow!) and speak English, and they do a beautiful job on my nails. Apparently the secret is out, because it's really busy, but they still got me right in a chair, as soon as I walked in! I will be back, again and again. read more

I arrived in Miami for my bday week and the previous day my usual nail tech from New Jersey ruined my nails with no time to get them fixed anywhere in jersey so I said I would have to find somewhere in Miami. I called it was a Sunday when I arrived and I was told they take walk-ins. I was looking for someone to reshape and repolish my nails as I am very particular with both.I was introduced to Marly. She was very nice and professional, had some conversation and she was friendly. She shaped my nails so good and even found a match to the pink I had on from my pedicure. My whole experience was great and thank you Marly for saving the day. I visit Miami often now so I will definitely be paying a visit to her when I'm in here. I've come here many times over the past 4 years but within the last year the polish doesn't last more than a day with regular and if I use gel it will not last more than 3-4 days max. It is not worth paying for polish on my manicure at this point. The last time I went December 19th, the nail tech doing my pedicure did not fully complete the service I requested. When I paid, I told the woman at the front that I would pay for the service but as an FYI she did not do what the brochure listed as the service. The front desk woman confronted the nail tech and the tech yelled at me that if I didn't have the money to pay then why request the service? Which was not the case. Incredibly rude of her and weird of her manager or colleague to confront her on the spot. It is such a shame, their polish quality and service has declined. read more

I don't understand all the glowing reviews. The only explanation for that would be that their customers haven't had a lot of experience elsewhere. The place is a complete chaos. Technicians change midway through the procedure. The guy who did my pedicure used a nail file and a stone white with skin of prior customers. I had to stop him from rubbing it into my feet. The woman who did my manicure probably didn't hear me because of all the noise and commotion around, but I asked for a regular nail polish yet she put gel on. I didn't want to argue as I just wanted to get out, take a shower and put some fungicide on. As a crowning touch, they asked for at least 18% tip and a review on Yelp. There you have it... RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND INCOMPETENT! As a loyal customer for over two years, I am beyond disappointed with the service I recently received. I had been seeing the same nail technician, who was fantastic, but she is no longer there. I booked an appointment in advance, specifically asking for someone who could do oval-shaped nails as well as my previous technician, especially since this was right before a destination wedding. For context, before finding my regular person, one of the male staff members had previously ruined my nails--cutting them too short and filing them crookedly. So I was cautious about whom I saw this time around. Unfortunately, the experience was a disaster from the moment I walked in. The front desk staff was incredibly rude, yelling at me to sit down. Then she started shouting at the other workers, and they all began yelling back and forth. At one point, one of the nail technicians loudly proclaimed, "I'm not going to do her nails!" I was completely ignored for some time until a male employee finally approached me and bluntly stated that no one wanted to do my nails. I was appalled by this treatment, especially as a long-term, loyal customer. When I expressed my frustration and mentioned that I would write this review, they were completely indifferent. It was clear they couldn't care less about their clients or providing any semblance of professional service. If you're looking for a place where you will be treated with respect and given the pampering experience you deserve, do not come here. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration! read more

This place used to be my barber shop Prestigious Image and the owner of the nail spa bought them out. I've remained a loyal customer despite the focus on being more of a women's nail place now. They kept the barber side open thank God because it's not easy to find a new barber. George has been my barber for a few years and he's always done an outstanding job! I highly recommend him since he's the best barber I've ever had. I've tried all the other barber shops in south beach several years ago and he's the best hands down. Don't waste your time or money at other barber shops. They even offer you a free bottle of water if you'd like. You get a shampoo, hot towel, and shoulder massage with a hand held machine after every cut. Not many places do this and George is an expert at giving fades. Stop in and tell George I sent you.
