As someone who is 37 years old and has never done botox/filler, preventative skincare is something I value to keep myself looking young in a city like Miami. When I first started visiting Dio, my biggest concerns were my skin texture, redness, and the visibility of my pores. Over the last year Dio has really transformed my skin - we alternate from doing either the into the glow brightening facial, the hydrafacial, or the purifying depending on my skin's needs. Since we started, I have also always added the microcurrent, which is a non-surgical facelift that uses low-level electrical current to make your face look snattttched. It also helps with collagen and sun damage which is really essential in the Miami sun. Another focus area for me was my décolleté. Growing up my mom always told me that the first signs of aging were a woman's hands and neck, and I truly regret all those days without sunscreen in my youth. When I mentioned this to Dio she told me about her chest Anti-aging facial which is the best $35 add on ever - since starting those last summer my skin has way less crepiness and discoloration. A year into consistent treatments and I see that my skin is way smoother, a lot less red, more hydrated, and my pores are a lot smaller appearing. I also notice a difference in how I feel without putting makeup on, since my skin looks healthy and hydrated without it. Dio also sells high-quality skincare items which I have adopted into my routine for at-home skincare. I trust her so much when it comes to products and recommendations because she really wants the best skin for her clients - not what is going to be the priciest spend for them. In a beauty-forward city like Miami where a good facial can cost you as much as a car payment, Dio is extremely affordable. She has a wealth of experience and is constantly learning new techniques and trends to make sure she has the best options for her clients. My wife immediately asked for her phone back. The situation then became even more uncomfortable when the employee started asking her whether she "didn't have money." We have never experienced something so uncomfortable and unprofessional. Tips are optional, not mandatory, and no customer should ever feel pressured, chased down, or have their personal phone taken from them over a tip.
