My mother always told me to say nothing if I have nothing good to say But... in this case I believe it's necessary. Went in to make an appointment and price for eyebrow tattoo. The owner told me $250 and included 1 follow-up .Made an appointment went to get them done .. instead of doing the whole eyebrow she said she need to do sections and I'll need to return . But before I left she said I owed her $400 !! And she had given me the wrong price !! It was a lot of work... only took 15minutes Don't bother going here !! It's hard to believe she has any 5 star reviews!! I'm so glad I decided to try this place out! Located in the heart of Bay Harbour Islands, it's snazzier than your average waxing spot. As soon as you come in, they take a before photo and show you exactly where and what is coming off, what has to grow, and where you need to let grow. On top of the fact that it's a sister-ran business, I like how Gail took her time with me and explained what she was going to do before she did it. Turns out my brows although thick, were actually uneven and needed professional maintenance. Plus, as soon as I saw her brows, I knew I was in the right spot. When she showed me the final product, I was grinning from ear to ear. Never ever have my brows looked so good in my life. I will be a customer for life. It's a great place if you want your eyebrows simply groomed, but do not, and I repeat DO NOT, let this woman (Dari) near your eyebrows with a blade. She will carve you like a pumpkin! I knew nothing about micro-blading and I trusted what she was doing. It was painful to say the least and looked red at first, but then ended up leaving bloody scabs and taking weeks to heal, eventually causing irreversible scarring to my epidermis. And because she didn't bother to take measurements they turned out uneven (lines exceeding my natural eyebrow on both sides). I finally decided to address it, and after the pandemic frenzy, I managed to meet with "actual" eyebrow specialists. They both said, it's similar to tattooing and shouldn't have caused any scarring; swelling and redness at most. At this point, I was looking at costly treatments and laser removal to repair the damage. One lady flat out said she couldn't help me. When I approached Dari to discuss this matter, all she did was argue with me. She pointed at her own scar and said it was completely normal; and that it was my fault my eyebrows were uneven because I asked her to "wrongly" correct it, making them actually more crooked. But the one scar is the worst blunt of it, because it literally changed the shape of my eye. My brow-hairs now grow in different directions. The whole thing is an atrocity! Not once did she take any responsibility, nor apologize. I have never dealt with such un-professionalism and disregard to something so obvious. She was so busy defending herself and proclaiming how great she was. The right thing to have done is to refund a client, even partial compensation would have sufficed to cover some of the damage -- no matter how much time has passed. But instead, she was grasping to find ongoing reasons/blame for the sake of a dollar. At some point she offered to fix it, claiming to have done it hundreds of times; which was even more disturbing to me! I write this review so no one else has to go through this; and/or what to expect from this business owner if something goes awry. There are much more reputable places for eyebrows. It may be more expensive, but well worth the one and only face you got. Now that I've done my research, I realize she's certainly not qualified to do any kind of micro-blading/shading. If you can call it that! Not sure how she got her license to perform this procedure, but I will be reporting this to the BBB next. read more

I have been going to wow brows for six years! I love Dari, there is no other person in this world I would trust with my eyebrows! I get complemented on them all the time, well I also have bad skin and I have had bad luck with other facials. I'm not fan of giving bad reviews... but I haven't had the best experience in this place. I went there to have an Eyelash Permanent. The process was ok, but the last part was really painful. The product she put on my eyes was burning so much I had to call her and tell her to remove it, and when she finished, she started removing the glue on my eyelids with her nails and she hurt my eye, producing a wound. And also, she leave the glue sticked on my eyes, that I could remove 2 days later. The perm was ok, but my eye hurt for 4 days :( read more

First of all I've never paid $45+tip for my eyebrows to get done (at most $30). Secondly, I think she was in such a rush that half of my eyebrow is missing. I'm devastated. I felt rushed out. I walked in on a whim after getting a glimpse of myself and realizing I need my wolf-like brows tended to immediately. Although I have decently shaped eyebrows naturally, I like having them shaped in a arch form. Being that my eyebrows are naturally rounded, I have never really had a beautician go out of their way to conquer this arch I've been chasing after. My former beauticians sort of just clean up the sides and pluck out any unruly hairs that stick out of place. As soon as I walked in she says, " can I please arch your eyebrows?!" I have gonna all around Miami and parts of Broward to find the perfect eyebrow stylist and I finally found her! Her name is Gale!! Gale and her sister own Wow Brows in Bal Halbor not only did Gale study my facial structure, but she also explained to me why and what my eyebrows needed. I've always known I've had one naturally arched eyebrow and one naturally round eyebrow as I call them "my very high maintenance eyebrows" Gale was able to make my naturally rounded eyebrow have an amazing arch to match my arched eyebrow. i get so many compliments on my eyebrows I now walk around with Wow Brow business cards in my purse. Gale is not only an amazing eyebrow stylist but an amazing person! I've been going to Dari... What is it 4 years now? I have never EVER found anyone who can work a small patch of hair above my eye and shape it into a gorgeous brow like she can! The work she does is amazing!!! She transforms your entire face! I found her a year before my wedding and so glad I did!! In fact, she's not close to my work/home, but I find a way to make it over there every 3-4 weeks. Every time I go to her, I just want to take her home with me so I can have perfect brows all the time. lol The new location is very nice and there is free parking in the back. Others use stencils and powders to make you think they've shaped your brow, but it's an illusion. So I went to get my brows done there since I was in the area. They looked great! Until I came home and washed my face to find that the lady remove almost all my brows!!! And painted them in! I'm so upset and that happened to more of my friend! Defiantly not coming back and now have to deal with trying to grow my brows now all over again which is hell! My skin is extremely sensitive and I have been afraid to wax my brown. I was ready to have a red face and lips because my sensitive skin. I was so shocked I did not get any reaction after the Wax. I went to Gail Schneider of Wow Brows to do my brows. I usually have them threaded, as I have very curly and unruly brows, but Gail does waxing and it actually turned out amazing! One of my brows was lop sided and I thought it'd take months of re-growth and using a pencil to reshape, but Gail using the wax, scissors and tweezers was able to correct it. It was much less painful than threading and really changed the dynamic of my face. I highly recommend Wow Brows especially if you think your brows are unruly like mine are! read more
