I do not recommend the upper lip or any application in the face. I visited again, giving Sugaring another try and irritating my face. No oils were applied afterward, as instructed. The sugar wax doesn't grab the hair well. My upper lip and cheek still had long strands of hair left over! Less yet not what I paid for. I expressed my dissatisfaction and was recommended Aloe if it burns. I don't even have this irritation after a standard wax, which I don't do regularly. The staff and vibes are great. I've been visiting this specific location for about 4 months consistently. I've gotten sugared before years ago and my experience was not great so I felt like my first appointment here was a new first time experience. I will admit getting a full bikini sugar wax is not super pleasant. But I have a pretty low pain tolerance and I was able to grin thru it. Monica is pretty patient with you and she works fast so you can get it over and done with lol. I recommend taking a Advil or Tylenol about 20-30 minutes before. And try using numbing cream. Not spray, but numbing cream. Helps a lot! The location is super clean and the wax rooms are always super clean. With a liner on the beds that is changed in-between clients. Hygiene is super important to me and these types of locations. Def a location to try if you haven't been before. read more

I've tried waxing and hated the whole experience so I decided to give sugaring a chance. I'm very glad I did. Jade was the young lady who did my "sugaring" she was very pleasant. I would definitely recommend her. It hurts a lot less than waxing; I was out of there in what seemed like 5 minutes. (I'm sure it was longer but it went by very quickly). waxing can often be uncomfortable (I mean you're exposing your business to a stranger )but I must say I was pleasantly surprised at how quick, easy and dare I say painless the experience was. This was my first time coming here and I am definitely hooked. I did laser years ago, but wasn't consistent so it didn't work. I started waxing a couple years ago and found it less painful than laser, but still painful. I kept seeing information on Sugaring and it being better than wax so I decided to try and I'm so glad I did. I wouldn't even describe the feeling as "pain" compared to what I've felt before. This kind of felt like being pinched and it would go away right away. Certain areas are a little more sensitive, but even still it wasn't anything unbearable. I usually curse my way through a wax session, but I was able to hold a conversation without needing to pause for pain. Kiara was super sweet and made me feel very comfortable. Compared to waxing i think it's a little more painful but that just my opinion and I think I'm still getting use to it. but the hair does grow back noticeably softer and with little to no ingrown (which I usually get a couple). My waxer, Chinika, was so incredibly nice and informative. Love it Personally the prices are high, however I save my "me time money" to have their services provided like once a month or so. My sugaring specialist is Janitza and she is so sweet and calming. She really makes sure that I am comfortable. She is the best. I had only been waxed a few times prior to me going to this establishment and the results truly are different. Today was my first time using this company and the front desk manager (I think) was the nastiest person I've experienced. I used the first time code to try it out and was never informed I needed my ID so I didn't think to bring it. I did the service and when I went to pay she then gave me attitude and wouldn't allow me to use the first time code. And when I tried politely coming up with a solution since I only brought a fixed amount (including tip) she was not helpful. She didn't give me any options other than calling the cops. And when I brought up how uncomfortable she's making me, she didn't care and kept rolling her eyes with an ugly grin until I forced her to call her boss and the boss approved the discount. (she also was trying to steal the tip for Jakia bc she didn't want to do her job) I will never go back to any of these locations. So do expect attitude at this location and do expect the management to not be helpful when they make mistakes. On the other hand Jakia was the absolute sweetest sugarista. she's very good at making you feel comfortable and leaving you with flawless results. She was the only one that apologized during this whole encounter even though it wasn't her fault at all. There was another young lady at the front and she was nice also. I usually wax but I ended up doing research about sugaring and decided to try it. The place was extremely cute and very clean. My sugaring esthetician Eva was super sweet and very knowledgeable about sugaring and guided me throughout the whole process. Believe me, I was scared to try it even though I wax frequently. I let my hair grow out a little too much so it made the sugar application a little annoying since it's tugging on the hair but the actual hair removal is not as painful. There was a point where I felt that "ouch" feeling like I did with wax, granted I let my hair grow out, but overall on a pain scale of 1-10 compared to wax, I give sugaring a 4. There's always going to be some sort of pain when you remove hair, but the way the remove the sugar with the growth of the hair definitely made it less painful. In the end, I'm super smooth, not irritated or in pain, and everything is CLEAN! Because sometimes with wax you'll get that stubborn little pieces left over that you don't notice until you pull your pants down when you go to use the bathroom and you're like "ow what the heck". Definitely a good experience and I'll for sure come back to do more sugaring sessions at the location and with Eva. read more
