Maria does Dazzle Dry Nails perfectly. These are vegan and organic nail polishes that protect the nails, increase their hardness, and do not use harsh UV rays or powders. It comes off with regular acetone and doesn't weaken nails as gel products do. It lasts for at least two weeks. Maria is fantastic. She is an expert at Dazzle Dry products, is bilingual and also does waxing and other treatments. The spa also has manicurists who do regular and gel manicures, but my go-to person is Maria for the Dazzle Dry Nails. I've never been happier. First time here. Bought a Groupon for a full Brazilian wax and all I can say is that I will be back. Maria is so sweet. She makes you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. This was also the least painful wax experience I've ever had. I've been waxing for almost 10 years and for the last 6 months I've been shaving due to moving to a new city and not having found a new place. So I expected this experience to be very painful to say the least. Those of you that wax regularly know that if you shave the hair grows back thicker and tends to be much more painful the next time you wax. But like I said it was the least painful wax experience of my life. Another plus was amazing conversation. She's the best and not to mention it's walking distance from my house. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. I've been coming here for over a year to get my full Brazilian wax with Maria. I'm so glad I found this little gem hidden in the North Bay Village area. I first started coming because they had a Groupon deal but even after that was done, I became a patron of the place. Maria is ALWAYS on point and always on time. She's never made me wait longer than 2 minutes. She's quick, effective, knowledgeable and I swear has the best hands. Which is hard to find in this industry. This place is small and dingy. I had a groupon and went twice for a mani/pedi-- both times I had an appt and I still had to wait at least 20 minutes for them to take me. Others came in while I was waiting and were equally annoyed since they only had one person working. They claimed the other person was coming in but it took over 45 minutes for them to show up. They also dont have dryers so i had to leave with wet nails. I would not go back to this place. The woman who did my nails was very nice but she did a mediocre job, she cut my skin at one point etc. read more

Words cannot describe its lovely staff. They are so courteous and professional to the T. I am extremely particular when it comes to salon services. I demand quality and professionalism. Nu Dermi spa and in particular, Maria embodies these qualities. The nail salon is a hidden gem. It is quaint, low key and unpretentious. There are no fancy chandeliers draping from the ceiling but instead there are luxurious lines of nail polish colors including organic brands. The nail polish wall is actually pretty impressive! What's also impressive is the technique. I have been going there since 2013 and my pedicures are relaxing and they do not cheap out on the foot massage. this is not your "typical" salon where you are in and out in 20 minutes. This isn't a deli. It's a salon that specializes in manicures and pedicures. My polish is always neat, no clumps and lasts for 7-10days. I love this place. Getting an appointment is easy. Going in during the week is best for a walk-in client. It's a quintessential small business and I'm all about supporting locally owned and women operated establishments! read more

First let me just say that my pedicure was great. I don't remember her name, but she did my pedicure and it was great. However, my manicure. Jesus Christ was this the most horrible manicure I've ever gotten in my life. And the most expensive garbage manicure I've ever gotten. Olinda was the one who did my manicure. Sweet lady, but good god it's terrible. First of all, my cuticles are in so much pain from her digging in to them with with the clippers (even after numerous times of telling her not to do it so hard). Second off, my nails have never looked more shitty. She painted all over my nails and skin surrounding and barely cleaned any of it off. Most of my nails are smudged, which I didn't notice until I saw it in the sunlight. I am absolutely horrified with how terrible of a job was done. I am going home and removing the nail polish off immediately. And then don't even get me started with the owner Maria. I'm sorry, I know that it's your salon, but you shouldn't be dying your hair in a salon that is not a hair salon. ESPECIALLY if you're open for business to the public. It makes everyone look so unprofessional and not established. The only reason I'm not giving 1 star is because of the woman who did my toes. Otherwise this would be 1 (0 if it was possible).
